    Excellent case!!!
I simply love this case. Great air flow and room to work. The side latch is tough and has held up over the 2 years I have had it. I built 2 systems around this case and passed my old mobo and cpu and built another system with a new case of which has been nothing but a headache. I will never buy anything other than Antec cases. The only thing that has started to fail is the removable hard drive tray latch. It sticks now, but still works. I will prolly have this case until mobo designs change.

    great case!
i used to believe that what really mattered about a computer was the "stuff inside" and the case didn't matter really (except the power supply that is.) however my old case was starting to get a little cramped with all the cords running around. my pc is mainly an extremely high quality audio workstation and can get quite hot sometimes when multiple inputs and such are live at once along with playback and effects running, this case kept everything quite cool the whole time and had plenty of space for all of my cords. another nice feature is it's detachable hard drive bay, which pops out, with the hit of a switch. there are two fans included with the case along with three more slots for optional fans (2 blowing air into the case and one to cool off the HDD's) the case itself is very well built, it is extremely sturdy and has no rough or sharp edges. i would highly recommend this or it's big brother the sx840 (same with 400w power supply) to anyone looking for a new case.

Build a system around the CASE!
I read rave reviews of this case on amazon.com several weeks ago while looking for a cpu case. I fortunately was able to use my employee discount through my employer to get this case at near cost. Let me say this is perhaps the finest design and construction I have seen in a product in some time. Removeable front panels make putting in IDE drives a snap. The roomy inside makes installing everything a breeze. I absolutely love this case. The only thing I found lacking though, was a very detailed instruction manual, namely wiring info. However, few people skilled enough to build their own computer would read the manual anyway. Overall I rate this product a 4.95 out of 5.

    Keeps Laptop Safe
I bought this a few weeks after I got my laptop because I wanted to have something to carry it around in when I needed it and somewhere I knew it would be safe.

I like having to space for all of my computer's needs (power cords, extra phone line). There is even room for folders when I'm studying or DVDs when I'm bored out of my mind.

I don't have to 'hunt' for everything when I need my computer, either. It is all right there in a handy case that can go with me anywhere.

    Roomy and Nice Looking
As a student this was the best case for me. It can fit my 15" notebook snugly, with a second large compartment for textbooks and notebooks. The front flap is for cords, floppy disks, pens, calculators, etc. It is also not bad to look at. I was very impressed when it came in the mail. I had been worried my notebook would be too large because I had experienced that before, but I would recommend this for up to 16" notebooks. The ajustable bungee strap is really comfy too. The case itself is also really light on your shoulder, but still durable. Me likes.

    Verrrry Nice
I got this in the mail today and I am very pleased. I thought it might be too small for my notebook (which has a 15" screen) like so many other cases were, but it fits very nicely with room to spare. I also like all the compartments. Its great for a student like myself with room for ID, cell phone, books, pens, etc. It it also very light and not too bad to look at. Great choice.

    Awesome Case
This is a very nice looking tower and definitely a great value. I was looking for a case for a new PC I was building, and I didn't want one of those cheap, dull, white cases. Luckily I stumbled upon Antec's cases and decided to check them out. This case had everything I needed. Sure it's a little expensive, but I believe it was totally worth the money. It has plenty of space, a solid 330W PSU, room for 3 fans (1 front, 1 back, & 1 side), side panel, and a cool metallic gray style. Now for over 3 months I've been using this case with a Asus P4C800-E motherboard, Pentium 4 2.8Ghz processor, and Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card and have had no problem. The temperatures inside are steady at around 27-32ºC. I must say that the side fan is very useful for cooling a monster graphics card like the 9800 Pro, although the fan tends to run a little loud. The side panel can slide off to gain easy access to the goodies inside, and can also be locked for security. This is a great case and would reccomend to anyone willing to spend the money.

    Cheaper elsewhere, Antec rules
...I have purchased three Antec cases /PS and have been please with all three. Features mentioned in the other reviews work well, though I have added larger power supplies in the last two purchased cases for overclocking. You can't go wrong with Antec cases.

    Great case! Nice touches.
The Antec power supplies have always been rock solid for me. The same now goes for their cases. I have 3 of these cases with 2 running 2.5GHz P4 and one with an Athelon 2200 (all ASUS). The case has several great features: easy open side panel, removable hard drive and fan combo with a nice locking clip, quick slides for optical drives, the hard drive gets a blast of cool air blowing from a fan directly in front of it, and it is easy to install fans. The case is beautiful inside with great finishing touches. What's not to like: little small when I have both hands inside swapping CPU chips, the side fan needs to be unplugged when removing the door, the fan needs to be unplugged for the hard drive enclosure removal, there is no slide out tray for the mobo, and it uses some unusual slides to attach the optical drives( they do supply a lot tho).
The power switch is nice, no doors to contend with, and the front connectors are handy and not in the way of my mouse. Very quiet fans.

Put a LED colored fan into the side vent for a beautiful effect.
Enough power and space for a normal system. A big thumbs up.

      Best bet out there
Boy did I look long and hard for the perfect case when I undertook building my latest system, and I almost found it with the SX1030. It's obvious that Antec did not cut corners on this model. This case has just about everything you could want, with a few nice little extras thrown in for good measure. Sure, it's big and heavy, but in my mind that's a good thing. It means plenty of room to work, route, install, cool and protect. If you want small and light, you shouldn't be in the tower section.

The front door is great for hiding your hideous beige and mismatched components. The 5 fan locations (with nice little fan holders included) along with the flow design make for excellent cooling potential, including 2 intakes mounted right in front of the drive bays to keeps your platters nice and frosty. My setup actually has 8 fans, which seems to make the tower double as an air-purifier that I have to clean every few days. The (left) side opening makes it easy to do a quick check or jumper adjustment, or just to take another admiring peek at your lovely cabling work. The 5.25" bay rail install system is great for device swapping (if that's what you're into). Everything is lockable, and the looks are sleek and stylish. The few cons I can report are the lack of a front accessible USB port and MB tray. These are minor inconveniences. All in all, I believe this line is the best currently available, with excellent design and construction.

      Awesome!
This case is fantastic. It has plenty of room for fans and is super easy to work with. Compared to other steel cases this is the best. I was so happy with this one that I just bought the new one. It's the Antec Plus 1080 AMG which is gray. The big difference is that the new one has a 430 watt Power supply, a side fan for the video card, and 2 USB and one FireWire in the front of the case. The 1030B case is worth the money and for those of you who are like me and like the best you will get this case!

If you are building a PC this case is for you!
Let me give you three reasons:

      1. It has plenty of room for future upgrades. If you are planing to install a motherboard with a EIDE interface It can hold 3 hard drives. If u think 3 hard drives will take up room from the rest of your hardware guess again!

      2. The case supports four "3 1/2" inch ballbearing fans to keep all of your hardware nice and cool. Two fans in the Up-per back of the case next to the power supply that will act as the air out-take and two fans in the lower front part of the case act as the air in-take.

      3. I purchased the retail version of this model it comes with 2
of the "3 1/2" inch case fans and a 350 watt power supply. I purchased and installed the 2 missing case fans to complete the four fans the PC case supports, and I replaced the 350 watt power supply that came with the case with a Antec 430 watt smart power supply to satisfy my power hungry Pentium 4 processor, Xtasy ti 4600 and my Audigy sound blaster platinum, Sound card. Would you belive all four fans and the power supply fans run practically Noise-less!

The only flaw this case has is SIZE! It stands at "21 1/2"inches tall, "8"inches and a quarter wide and "19" Inches from the lockable door plate that rest's over the CD Rom bays to the chassis. If you are willing to ignor this one flaw, this Antec Performance case is for you. It comes with 4 CD rom bays and 2 floppy bays and the case's chassis supports seven expansion card slots and It comes with more features you can look up at the Antec home page ...
I'd recomend you dont buy the OEM version instead buy the retail version that comes not only with what I mentiond in Reason number 3, It also comes with a generous amount of motherboard screws! :) The retail version of this case goes by the name: Antec Soho file server. When you look up the retail version here in Amazon or at the antec web site you can choose it with the specific power supply that will meet your computing needs.

      One of great Antec cases
It fits to the 12" X 9.6" board standard. I use P4S8X. It comes with 300w power supply(SL300S) and it is really quite same as my True430. 5.25" bays don't require screws...it said SLK2600AMB not SLK2600AMG...That means "Antec Metallic Bronze (AMB)" It is absolutely Metallic Bronze not Black. If you plan to buy the case with this size, this model will be the best choice...

      Excellent product - minor concern
This is my second ANTEC SLK2600AMG case. The first cost a lot more at a retailer. Other than color (metallic bronze is not really black), the case and power supply are outstanding and quiet - very quiet. The power supply is virtually silent and you have to add all the noise yourself with other parts.

I used the case to replace a home built computer that was sounding like a jet taking off. I had used the first case to build a computer from new parts and it is as quiet as the best Dell Optiplex. I did not achieve the same silent running on this computer since the old CPU fan is not as quiet as a new P4 one. I also dampened the case fan since it was not a new variable speed one. I moved the computer off the floor and onto the desk and the low nise level is quite tolerable.

The mounting for 5 1/2 drives is unique but it is extremely quick and easy (30 seconds with no screws) and appears quite stable. Everything is solid and well built.

      Minor concerns:
the front USB connectors contain 6 separated pins each and are hard to maneuver around.
the case does not have a removable backplate and you have to install the MB inside the case.

I ordered the case on March 14 and it arrived on March 18. Very nice.

      Best case for the money
I did not buy my case from Amazon(more's the pity, could have saved some cash). This is an excellent case however. Well made, well designed and attractive. I especially like the door that covers the drive bays. Please note that the front USB ports wiring have 10 separate leads(a pain for my short fat fingers). For an excellent case at a reasonable price, I don't think you can go wrong. If you do buy the case be sure to order two 80MM fans at the same time. No fans in the case.

      comfortable but zippers need work
I bought this bag because i needed to haul my laptop out of the country with me. I found it to be very comfortable and i loved the million pockets to put every little thing i could think of in. However the zippers don't move smoothly, one is already completely broken and a few more are a struggle to get open and shut. Other than that the bag is well built, nicely cushioned, and well balanced.

      I love this backpack
This is a terrific backpack. I walk a mile or so to and from work, and I recently bought a Dell 600m midsize notebook, so I decided it was time to get a computer backpack.

This is a terrific bag -- it's extremely comfortable and well-balanced, with excellent build quality. The computer compartment is really well padded, and I'm pretty sure I could drop this bag or even toss it across the room and not damage my notebook. My notebook is only a 14", but the compartment appears to be able to hold one much larger.

It has a ton of pockets, and organization freaks will find a place for most anything. It has a decent-sized main compartment with little pockets for notebook accessories, and it has a separate file/paperwork compartment. This makes it really easy to pull out whatever it is you need without sorting through a mess of things that are jumbled together, even if you're as disorganized as I am.

In addition, it has a phone pocket on the strap (for easy access), some side pockets, a top pocket, and a back compartment with a whole bunch of little pockets inside it. Like I said, there's a place for most everything. I'll also be using this as a carry-on bag when I travel, and I've already found some good spots for toiletries and things like that to live.

The only reason I can think of not to buy this bag is if you need a full-sized travel pack or a really tiny mini-pack. For a normal-sized backpack, and for one that can double as a bookbag for college students, you can't do any better.

      Good Bag
I like the fact that the bag is well padded and there are adequate pockets on the inside to put your notebook accessories. It has a nice rubberized bottom and the upper-end of the back straps are a continuation of the bag itself, not just some strap sewed on to. It also looks like a normal backpack so it's an inconspicous way to carry around your precious notebook.

A little to big for the DSCP8
Excellent case, soft, protects the camera. But it is a little to big for my model, the Cybershot DSCP8. The camera bounces in the inside.

Maybe it's the camera, that is to small?

Right-sized for the Sony Cybershot DSC-V1
When I pulled it out of the Amazon box, I thought it might be too small for the V1, but I like the fit! Its compact size works great with one of the best new generation 5MP digital still cameras. I like how the fabric gussets on the sides of the main compartment only allow it to open far enough for camera access(nice on the belt). Its smaller front compartment has both a regular pocket and another facing compartment with a full length zippered close. Both are made from that net type material. Very slick, functional design from Sony.

      Worth it
I ordered this case as an international customer and had it delivered to a hotel in the USA where my family was staying so I couldn't go to a store to see in person how the case looks. The case is advertised as a general carrying case for the P-series (P72, P92, P10) and it has the round edge just like the P-series. Since the P-series is a bit smaller than the SONY DSC V1, I was scared that my V1 wouldn't fit into the case. I received both the case and the camera yesterday and I am extremely pleased. The camera fits like a glove and there is enough space to put in a few extra things such as batteries or memory sticks in the front. I was also scared it would have a cheap look to it, seeing as it is only $... It actually looks really stylish and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with either a P-series or V1 CyberShot.

Good fan. The picture on amazon.com is misleading
I bought this fan to replace the Antec "ball baring" fan, which is very noisy (see related review). This fan is smooth and much quieter. However the picture of this fan on amazon.com is wrong. The picture shows that this fan has a power pin and another pin, which goes to the "system fan" plug on the motherboard (so you can monitor the fan speed if your bios support this feature. The Antec ball baring fan has this pin). But this fan actually has only the power pin. Although I will not return this fan, I want to point out that if you want to monitor the fan speed, this fan will not work.

        Cheap, quiet, reliable
Cheap, quiet, reliable... Need I say more?

        Its an Antec fan
What more can I say. I bought 4 of these for my case and they are rock solid.
