different than the picture
Just a warning... the case is different than the one pictured and the shipping cost is as much as the case. The case I recieved did not have a shoulder strap but rather it has a loop on it that you could thread onto your belt. I do like the case, it seems to protect the camera well. My Canon A70 Camera fits great into the case. I just wish I had the shoulder strap.

Chubby padded case
The case is meant for PowerShot A40/A20/A10. (I bought this hoping it would work with my Powershot S330. However, it's a little bigger than I'd like it to be. It's so large I can fit the USB connector in the base.) The zipper flap over both the large and small pockets is a little irritating. The metallic gray synthetic material with black trim gives it a slick look. The light padding appears adequate for "throwing" in your bag. Details are as follows:

Deluxe Soft Compact Case PSC20 for
PowerShot A40, A20 and A10 cameras.

Canon USA, Inc / Item no. 7137A001(AA)
- Synthetic material (not leather)
- Belt loop
- velcro flap
- Large padded zippered pocket for Powershot Camers.
- Small zippered pocket for extra batteries and memory card
- Includes shoulder strap.
- Approximate Dimensions: 3" x 4.75" x 1.75"* (*2.5" including smaller pocket)
- Color: Metallic gray, black trim, black shoulder strap

Fast Shipping
THe shipping was really fast-so fast I didn't have time to cancel the order after I realized the shipping cost more than the case. I should have read the reviews before ordering. Don't know if the case works or not as the camera hasn't been sent yet.

It's Good But Not Perfect
This lock is good (I use one every day) but it isn't perfect. A determined thief can remove the lock given enough time in a concealed space. My friend had his IBM laptop stolen in just this fashion from his private office.

A wise way to spend money for notebook security
I am very happy with my cable lock. Although it does not make your computer equal to Fort Knox, it will at the very least slow a would-be theif down. I can hang my 8lb laptop off of it, and bounce it up and down with the cable, and it holds firm (trial conducted over my bed, a heavily padded surface). I like how the cable swivels around the actual lock to avoid the cable kinking, and becoming cumbersome. I also like the fact that it is a key operated system. Although combinations are quicker, they can be hacked in about 5 minutes of trying, and slipping a key in the lock and giving a quick turn can't be any simpler. Just remember to keep one key in a safe place, and write the key serial number down somewhere so a replacement can be found. For the money, I don't think there is a better security option for notebook computers, unless you spend the $40 on a doberman puppy, and train it to attack computer theifs. But that would be hard. Buy this lock system, and it could save you $3000.

Simple & effective.
It does just what it says it'll do: if your PC has a locking slot (almost all do now) and the place where you're working has a secure piece of hardware to secure it the airplane-grade cable (schools, libraries, airports, et. al.), all would-be casual thieves will move on. As for more determined thieves, that's perhaps another story. Back up your data!

FALSE ADVERTISING - 17" powerbook owners beware
If you have an Apple Powerbook 17", DO NOT BUY THIS BACKPACK.

Although the product is nicely made and attractive, especially for the price, the notebook compartment is padded on the sides and bottom, but not on top. There is only an elastic band on top that holds the laptop in place.

Although the manufacturer's description says that this backpack can hold a 17" powerbook, I suppose it would fit -- but the top of the notebook would be against the edge of the laptop and UNPADDED. If you care about avoiding dents in your powerbook, do not order this.

On the other hand, if you have a 15" laptop and don't need a really-well insulated notebook compartment, I would recommend this bag. 16" is just borderline. It has a comfy gel padding on the back and a sporty look.

One helluva bag
I absolutely love this bag..I use it for my Wide Screen 15.4" Dell Inspiron 8600, which absolutely doesnt fit in any other backpack in the market. This one's a real stud. Though a bit heavy, its one solid unit, and protects the laptop well, with tons of room for your other stuff. I intend to use it mainly for Air travel, and bought it after a lot of research in Circuit city and other stores.

Durable, Roomy, Stylish
This is by far the best notebook backpack I found. My laptop is a 15.5" and its hard to to find a backpack that wasnt HUGE. This doesnt look huge but it has so much room inside it and plenty of space for books, disc, power cords, a mouse, etc. I also think its well made and has enough padding to protect your laptop. The zippers are great!!! Really smooth and it never feels like its sticking. Its also a lot easier on your back than one of the messenger style notebook cases! It also comes with a lifetime warrenty if you fill out the card and mail it back (at least mine did...it was inside the bag).

So why can't they make one to hold more MD's????
I currently own this 24 MD case, and while It provides the portability that Mini Discs are all about, it only holds 24 MD's.... If they want us to believe MD's are more portable than CD's, then why are they making it so hard to carry them with us?? Still, it is the best case out there thusfar, and caselogic is always a safe bet.

Just the right size
I really like the size of this case. I rarely go anywhere that I'm likely to need more than 24 MDs, and lugging around a case of more than that would kind of defeat the purpose of owning an MD player (portability). I have seen this case for cheaper at other Internet sites, but not more that a few dollars so. The case is of excellent quality, and matching cases can be bought for the rest of your MD accessories if you're into the matching thing

In praise of my Companion
This MD case has been with me across oceans and through many ordeals. I recommend this to anyone who values loyalty in an audio accessory. When things look grim I can always take comfort in the fact that my MD carrier will have 24 MDs that I can listen to at my convenience. I bought it at a local chain, but the convenience of online shopping makes it available to anyone, anywhere. Try writing your name on it with a Sharpie... or maybe you can give it a name, like you would a dear pet. I call mine Schattenjager. If you buy this with something else, you may even be able to get free shipping! Take care and may the gods be with you.

Good looking, comfortable, holds lotsastuff, but too fragile
This is a good-priced, cool-looking, spacious, comfortable to carry bag. It converts to a backpack and the shoulder strap and handle are super padded.

Bad news: I went through two of these in six months, the second very nicely provided as a replacement for the first by Kensington for free. They both ripped out at one of the outer seams in the main non-padded compartment. I have a haul of a commute via bus and NYC subway and the bag got shoved around a lot. The exposed seams tend to snag on any available sharp surface and rip out.

Be nice to it and this could be a good bag, but if you need a bag that can be abused, stay away.

one of the best values out there
I bought mine in 1998 for $50--a steal then, though there are better options now at the same price.

Holds an unbelievable amount of stuff. Unfortunately, it is awkward to use (though it fits under the seat on a plane, getting stuff out of it is much harder than a side-zip computer case I use now).

Also, it looked quite sharp--not quite a professional briefcase that you'd carry into a courtroom, but far easier to commute with than an old shoulder-slinger computer case.

The stowaway backpack straps are great--except when you're wearing a business suit, or a jacket, in which case they're annoying to use and I'd stick with the shoulder strap. My strap split after a few months of constant use, but was easily replaced.

Protection for the laptop is a little understated--the shoulder strap slipped and the backpack fell to the ground one time, shattering my old Toshiba's screen. You've been warned...

Finally, even the most ergonomic backpack is still a backpack--do you really want to carry 15-20 pounds on your back when you could wheel it on the ground? The extra expense for a roller is well worth it; don't believe me? Carry this bag fully loaded for a few years like I did and you certainly will. But as an interim bag, it isn't bad at all...

The perfect carrying case!
Sling it over the shoulder, pack it on you back, or carry it with one hand. This computer case, not only offers three confortable ways to carry it, but also several compartments to store everything you'll need to carry with your laptop. The laptop compartment is well padded, guaranteeing added protection to you laptop (The felt that covers the inside of the compartment is thin; however, I have this carrying case for over an year, and it is still like new inside and out.) This carrying case is perfect for transporting any laptop safely and comfortably.

There is a noticeable difference, but not worth the [amount of money]
I got this Monster cable for my PS2 because of the Monster name. And that's just about all you'll get if you buy this set of cables to replace the ones that came with your PS2. Yes, the image quality and the sound quality are improved, but not enough to justify the [amount of money] that you'll spend for these cables. If you got money to burn, then get these cables. Else, the ones that came with your PS2 are good enough.

Might be a good product if.......
Maybe Im just a rock but how are you supposed to connect your system to both a TV and a audio reciever/decoder? There is not enough play in the end to allow the video cable to go to the TV and the audio cables to go to my sound system. So after trying to slice the individual cables apart with my kbar I finally gave up and just used regular AV cables.

monster cables for ps2
who every says these cables are bad really must not knew what they are saying I have two ps2 one american one imported both use monster cables and a dreamcast which are all hooked up to monster cables for hdtv tekken tag is improved 75% I can see sweat coming from unknowns body and every thing behind the action as it should be see by true gamers so take it from a person that only plays imported games if you have the money go with monster

Good small bag for the 5700
If you're looking for a good snug fitting case for the 5700, this is it. It's a tight fit, but holds the camera and strap. There is room in the top inside pocket for a card or other item and the front pocket has quite a bit of room for a extra battery or other misc accessories. Belt loop seems robust and the rings for the strap is sewn into a nylon strap that goes all the way around the bottom. This is perfect for when I just want to carry the camera and move fast and light.
As to the turning on in the case. I suppose this would be a problem if I didn't consistantly turn the camera off and the switch to review. If the camera is switched on accidently, the lens won't extend. Simple solution that one should always use regardless of the case.
I imagine this will fit the new Nikon 8700 as well.
There seems to be two models of this case floating around out there. (especially on ebay) The one pictured above is the best. The other seems to be lacking some pockets and features.

nikon coolpix 5700 case
Great camera case for nikon 5700 made for and fits well.Does not carry much gear but why should it its not a camera gear bag. It fits my needs.

Great Advanced Amateur/Novice Camera.
This is without a doubt, an exceptional camera. I've had mine for a little under a year and I have NO complaints about it. I bought a 512 MB card to go with it shortly after getting the camera and I get about 800 pics on the lowest exposure, which is PLENNY of detail for emailing or use on a non photography centered website. Even if the rough image must be cropped down to achieve the final picture. And 5 megapixel has always been more than I've needed for backdrops, prints, and anything I've needed to do with my photos so far. I get good battery life, and the major controls are immediately understandable, although this camera definitely has more than enough depth and features that will keep you reaching for the manual till you get used to the camera.

Two caveats, one - it looks like CF mem will soon be replaced with CF II. Although CF mem will still be around, it wil definitely put a time limit on how long you can use the camera. two - either get a card reader, or get a larger card (which u'll need) that comes with a USB reader, most good cards (mine is lexar) do this. All in all, the camera is SPECTACULAR!!!

Rubber belt loop is weak
While retrieving the camera from the case, I noticed the upper portion of the belt loop had split and was hanging by a mere thread of rubber. I was fortunate. After removing the camera from the case, one slight tug broke the belt loop. I've been using this case for approximately nine months with a Nikon Coolpix 990. Suggest you look at a Tamrac #5694 for cameras of this size.

Great size, but no strap
I previously used a case logic digital camera bag for my Coolpix 950. It was pretty nice, but it was a tight fit to get the camera in. Alhtough the Nikon case seems smaller, the camera fits much better. I also have room for an extra set of batteries, my PCMCIA flash card adaptor, and a video cable. However, the one thing I miss is that there's no shouldar strap. Just a belt buckle, and a little loop.

A Good Case for Camera Cases
OK, I got one of these and like many others have already said, it has the advantage of having been engineered to carry the camera, but not much else. I, myself, carry lots of batteries and the thing has nowhere to stuff them all. After running through a Sears, Best Buy and a camera shop stuffing the 990 into various cases to see what fits best, I settled on a case logic CD player carrying bag. It has 3 zip pockets in it as well as a shoulder strap, belt loop and a snap loo that can be used to hang a light accessory bag off ot it. The bag is just big enough to fit the 990 into the mid pocket while leaving room in the back pocket for batteries and accessories. The small front pocket is just the right size to carry the trial size CF card that comes with the camera. Over all, I am very happy with the case. It is water resistant so I don't fear being caught in the rain with it an is just so versatile.

If you can find this thing its great. Shouldn't be hard Case logic has their products everywhere. It is a CD player travel bag and square shaped and comes in red, blue, yellow and maybe another color or two (I only saw the three colors I mentioned but there are probably more) If you can, get one of these. Its just right and now I am rambling so that's all for this review.
