not the best effort
The leather is nice ... and the places to hold expansion cards is nice ... but ...

What is not nice is the size of this unit ... it protects tha palm ok ... but in doing so makes the case bulky ... it takes a rather slim i705 and makes it big and bulky ... there had to be something better in the design minds out there ... something leather that is half the weight and size ... and something you dont have to take the cover off every time you put it in its cradle ...

Not all that slim...
There's nothing really WRONG with this case, other than Palm's calling it "slim" - it isn't. There is a rigid spine coming out from the back of the case - at the end of this spine is a flexible connector where you attach the i705. At least in the one I have, this spine is so tall that it adds a good quarter inch or more of wasted depth to the hinge side of the assembled unit - it looks "dorky".

I'm also not a fan of the strap and loop closure mechanism that Palm likes to put on its cases. Also, it is difficult to put your i705 in its cradle when in this case.

On the other hand, the leather is nice, it does hold four memory cards (in slots behind the i705) and can also hold three credit cards and some bills behind a flap. It also should do a good job of protecting the i705 in your pocket.

I would say that the primary advantage of this case is that you can buy it now - look for other Palm accessory makers to chime in with their own cases soon - some already have.

No Strap?
I bought this rip off. It's nearly imposible to attach to the DSC-F828. And then comes the surprise, it doesn't come with strap or the little attachment that carries memory sticks ect. Very disapointed.

A nice case for a jewel of a camera
The case is a useful device as it enables you to use the camera and then easily tuck it away into its case, with a minimum of fuss.

Because of its snug fit, there is no room for additional accessories such as a spare battery or a CF card. Sony also sells a larger strap which incorporates a small pouch to fit such items into.

It is advertised as fitting the camera with its hood mounted. I must confess to being unable to achieve this -- perhaps because the case is new, it may stretch slightly over time. However, the hood does reverse and fit onto the lens enabling it to fit into the case.

Sony has thought of everything -- the camera is probably the most intelligently designed (and beautifully built) cameras on the market today.

If you are one of those that travels with everything, then a dedicated camera and accessory case is probably more for you. However, given the design of this case, it could easily fit into a larger bag, enabling a day trip with camera only with some protection. One other downside, is that you will need to remove the bottom part of the case (which separates and attaches to the base of the camera) to charge the battery, as that section of the case prevents access to the power charging port at the rear of the camera.

I give it four and a half stars.

It's okay
I don't think this backpack is even worth $20 US to tell you the truth. But there isn't much notebook backpack that looks good so i'm stuck with it. This product is made in China so do expect the process of making this backpack to be not as good. As for the spacing along with the laptop,

- the notebook compartment can place i believe 15' inch notebook
I dont' know if it can fit a 16' inch or not but I have a 14.1' inch and it already seems pretty tight to me. By the way, it has a strap that secures your notebook from moving around and one cm of protective "soft wall" that surrounds the space.

- the main compartment of the backpack can store approximately 5inches (13cm) max, so pick up a ruler and check if this space fit your needs

- the 2nd compartment can store around 2 novels

- the last compartment can store a calculator and as many pencils as you need

The main problem i have with this backpack is that the materials that made up this backpack is really hard. I don't know if it's my personal preference or not but it looks as though it can scratch my laptop if i'm not careful enough. When i put my laptop into the backpack, there's this siffing sound which freaked me out when i first put it in. Lets hope it doesn't scratch my $2500 notebook. By the way, this is my first day using it so i don't know whether the backpack can easily break or not.

Don't be fooled be its appearance...
Its Sony Vaio backpack.. and it look good and big...
That made me buying this thing.
well, first three days, I was very satisfied as it also feels great, and comfortable although inside wasn't as big as I thought. It look fantastic too.
As a engineering student, I carry one big textbook (circuit analysis) and two notes, and one small textbook, two calculators, one pencil case, and one binder.
When I put them in together, with Vaio 505dx (one of the smallest)
Its very packed, so I had to always worry about my laptop screen.
Another reason I gave three stars is that after three days of usage, its arm string is starting to tear apart from the backpack body.
I didn't expect $80 laptop backpack to be so weak! (it only look strong)
I sent e-mail to sonystyle.. and now waiting for reply..
I hope they replace my backpack for free.. but you know sony's customer support...
I think I will go Savon and find one very strong string, so that my mom can sew the arm string into its body.

I regret that I didn't buy from amazon... because amazon's customer support is great... They will not charge if the product is defective..
Sorry amazon.. I will use you next every time.

Too bulky
Though this backpack has ample room for what I needed to put in it, it's construction is stiff and it is huge, no matter how much stuff you have in it - it's like carrying a small child wherever you go. Also, the zippers are not the best quality - one is already totally broken and another on its way after only one year. The only plus is the separate laptop compartment - that is handy as I have a relatively large computer.

Great so far
Two months with this bag an it's still getting me to school. I haven't had any reliability issues.
The good:
1) It'll hold everything. I carry so many books to school I used to carry a backpack and a laptop case. Now I just have this bag.
2) Big straps to hold the load.
3) Lots of compartments to help devide up and secure the stuff.
4) Padded back
The Bad:
1) Laptop sits between your back and your load. It's padded, but this doesn't stop the weight of the load from resting on your computer. It should be a hard case.
2) Big straps that are too wide to leave much room for flexibility in the arms.
3) Useless little mesh pockets.
4) Deviders aren't flexible.

Title says 32x - Picture says 16x.
I ordered 32x as listed in the description - received 16x.
Have to return items for exchange.
Picture doesn't match the item description being sold.
I'm glad i was in a hurry for these. I wonder what happens next.
Printed label, shipped back UPS. ?Additional freight charges?
?Is 32x in stock? ?Is this item 16x and not 32x?

Best *0 min. CDRs ever
These CDRs are the best.

Everyone, including professional reviewers, recommend them over the Sony's, Imation's and Memorex'.

Plus, TDK has one of the best CDR factories, actually the best followed closely by Sony and Imation.

Don't go for the Memorex, go with TDK, and avoid those pesky coasters with other no-names.

Nice Power Adaptor/ Poorly designed case
Well of all the laptop cases I have seen this is the FIRST that doesn't fold open 180 degrees. If you look carefully at the photo you see that all the zippers stop about 2 inches from the bottom of the case. So it is not possible to use the laptop while it is in the case. I thought this was a really neat idea in that all the cord clutter would be contained as the case has an integrated power supply. I was expecting to be able to flip open the case and work with the lower half of the laptop still inside. But since you have to take out the laptop to use it then pull out the power cords it kindof defeats the purpose of integrating the power supply.

That being said the power supply looks to be fairly well designed. I haven't had a chance to try out all 3 power sources (air, auto, home) yet but it will be less clutter. Fortunately the power supply is removeable (its in the rightmost pocket in the photo). So as long as you consider this to be equivilant with the 'Juice' system with a free bag it isn't that bad. I would bet if you got the smaller case advertized for $80 than you are even better off as that would be cheaper than the Juice system.

    nice but too small
This nice leather flip case is actually designated for the Tungsten T Palm only. Eagerly awaited, I had to return it because it is too small for my Tunsten E Palm. Belkin makes a case that fits almost every PDA, but you can't tell from these descriptions which one you are buying.
