The case is made of nice material, but I was disappointed with the way that the handheld binds to the case and how the case closes. The mechanism to bind the handheld to the case is a piece of Velcro that permanently sticks to the back of the handheld; the Tungsten C (and other models) has a nice rail mechanism designed to insert/remove covers, so I was disappointed this "executive" case did not use the rail (as the Tungsten C Slim Leather Case does). The case also stays closed by the use of a magnet sewn inside the cover that is positioned directly above the handheld. I suppose that magnets don't bother modern electronics or credit cards that the case is also designed to store?? In any case (no pun intended) this just bothered me.

The bag itself is great! However, the handle on mine broke after less than two years' use. The handles should be sturdier!

I bought this bag to protect my Dell Inspiron 5100. Come to find out, it's just a regular messenger bag with compartments big enough to fit a laptop, cell phone, pda, ect. There is NO padding in the laptop compartment. So if you actually want to protect your laptop I wouldn't recommend this bag.

I tried this mouse to see if I could avoid using my touchpad. Although it installed easily, movement was often jerky and slow. CRITICAL FOR ME: It drained my laptop battery much faster than normal. Also, if your USB port puts the receiver/dongle within sight, the blue light that flickers and flashes with every mouse movement is very distracting. With its batteries installed, this mouse is HEAVY! If total carry-around weight is an issue for you, or if you don't want your laptop battery drained, this isn't the right mouse for your ensemble. I took mine back for a refund.

When I first thought about buying this mouse, I wasn't impressed by the reviews. Most of them spoke bad about it and pointed a lot of weaknesses. But I decided to buy it anyway, since I had a friend at work who had one and was very pleased with it. The one I bought came with the cradle and I must admit that it's very useful, since you can charge the batteries when the mouse is not in use and also you can plug the receiver and keep working.
The mouse is very accurate and precise, the blue led from the receiver is nice to look at and, to tell you the truth,it doesn't bother me at all or distract me, like some people said it would.
My recomendation is: if you want a wireless pointing solution for your laptop, go for this one. It works fine and it's a lot smaller than some from other brands.
I paied 54.90€ for the whole pack and must say that I'm very happy with my purchase! Great value for money!

This new model is much better than the older unit. The greatest improvement is the on/off switch and power saving functions. The old version would only save batteries when it was left still, which never happens when it's in my bag and always ended up taking the batteries out which was a real pain.

I do not find the switch hard to use as some people have indicated. I have short nails and stubby fingers, but I have no problems with it. It's designed to not be accidentally switched off.

I use 700mAh NiMH rechargable batteries in the mouse and it's been a week now and I haven't had to change them with moderate use. I also find it comfortable to hold and pleasing to look at (important with laptops I think.)

The wheel rolls silently, but the clicking could be a little quieter since it is a laptop mouse that you may want to use in a classroom or boardroom.

The bendable usb adapter is a nice addition and I would recommend this mouse to anyone. I have used it successfully in Windows XP Pro, Gentoo Linux and FreeBSD.

I totally agree with mrs. caiaccio's assessment of the product, it does indeed smell wonderfully of citrus fruits!

I bought this blue carrying case shortly after I got my Palm Zire for my birthday. It's a nice color and the Zire fits in the case well. (It's not too tight, as someone else said.) The color is rather nice too. There was a little smell at first, but it wasn't that bad. Unfortunately I lost my case and I wish there had been a way to connect the case and handheld together to prevent losing the case. I will probably buy a new one or a similar red one I saw somewhere else. I would recommend this case to others.

I read the reviews about the smell and I had the complete opposite reaction. The case is fantastic! I also had the clerk open the case because of all the "bad smell" reviews and I thought it smelled fine. It actually has a mild "citrus" smell - like an orange. The case is a perfect fit and looks cool!!

In order of their appearance: (1) dangerously slippery surface, can literally slip out of your hand (2) unit slides off of slide-on bar when tilted (3) case catch stopped working at 2 weeks without any trauma, so it constantly gapped open in my purse. At the time, there were no alternative cases so it at least protected the unit (poorly) for a while. I threw this waste of money away.

I have had my Palm and the hard case for about two weeks now. The case is very nice looking and gives a high degree of protection to the unit. I am a teacher and a student and will be carrying this around in a book bag. I wanted strong protection and this case provides it. It is very nice looking with a clean design and brushed aluminum (not plastic) exterior. There is plastic in the interior that cradles the unit and provides storage for two SD cards. The case opens easily with one hand and the lid folds completely around to the back where it is out of the way. Because of the extreme range of motion offered by the hinge I suspect it could be broken fairly easily. The loose fit of the unit in the plastic allows easy access to the stylus well and the off/on switch. Holding the open case in my left hand I can easily tilt it forward a little and allow the unit to swing out enough to reach the stylus and switch. In the same way gaining access to the USB and power ports is easy. While it does move around in the case I don't think it moves much. I am confident this case will protect my unit against most hazards it will encounter in my book bag. If you want maximum convenience and minimal protection then this case is probablyl not for you. If you can live with a little extra bulk and want greater protection for your unit then this case will probably fill your need

I bought this case the day after I got the tungsten e. Do not use the built-in flip cover that comes with the palm. The flip cover ACTUALLY SCRATCHES THE PALM. I found that out the hard way. Other people complain that they can't get to the stylus or power button with this case, umm there was a piece of foam inside the packaging to prop the palm up inside the case. The foam puts pressure on the palm so that it doesn't rattle around in there, it also makes accesing the stylus and power button a cinch. Use your heads people. The case is very sexy looking being that it is sparkley aluminum, and it is slim and sleek, adding barely no weight or bulk to the palm. I think this is a great product that serves it's primary purpose to protect the palm, as well as adding a sexy look to an already sexy looking handheld.

I had no problem with this case up until now (4-5 monts after the purchase date). The plastic wore out and now I cant keep this case closed. It does close but opens at the slightest disturbance. Given the price of this unit, the closing mechanism could have been designed a bit better.

Having read many of the other reviews of this case the most common complaint seems to be inadvertantly turning on the power button. I have a m500 and have never had that problem, but I do have two complaints of my own.
1. Hotsyncing is difficult while in the case, but putting the hotsync cradle on the edge of your PC desktop allows the case halves to be "folded" back at a 90 degree angle from the PDA and then placed in the cradle.
2. The interior latch that closes the case, although clever, is not that strong. I've had mine for less than a year and the piece on the back cover has already broken. I thought I was relatively careful when closing it, but at some point it just broke. The case won't stay closed now and I'm trying to decide whether to get another or just live with it...

This is a great case. I just replaced my Palm Vx with a 515, and used the Palm hard case for the Vx and loved it, despite it getting poor reviews ("its plastic, not classy, so awkward" blah blah blah.) That was a great case that saved my Palm a hundred times when dropped, fit into my jeans or pants pocket without bulk, and this new case is so far just great- the updated version. The other reviewers say it turns the palm on, and drains the battery. I almost did not get this based on the other reviews, but am so glad I tried it. I have not had that problem and have closed the case a thousand times trying to duplicate that problem. Has not happened. If you like a hard case like me, this one is great.
Unfortunately the series V hard case will not fit the m500 series- why, Palm, why? The stylus is just a little smaller. The size of the PDA is identical, but the stylus difference means the older case won't work. A real pity, since it is a slimmer, lighter case.
