Very Poor Protection
This is an expensive leather case (although it feels like cheap vinyl) that simply does a very poor job of protecting an expensive ipod, due to the open corners.

Marware is better
See those open corners? Sooner or later you are going to scratch up your iPod on those. If you want a quality leather case, check out the Marware CEO Classic. They make 2 sizes, one for each of the 3G dimensions, so you don't have a nightmare getting your 30Gig iPod out of the case you jammed it into, and your 10, 15, or 20 gig doesn't slop around. Also uses the Multidapt system, which allows you to switch to different types of clips, even a bike clip is available.

The corners of the CEO are open a tiny bit, but they should protect your iPod from all but the most bizarre of circumstances.

Good Case, but be Warned
I saw some of my friends with this case on their iPods and it seemed like a pretty good case, so I went and got it.

Slight problem: Notice how they say "Fits all iPod sizes"?
WRONG.
Apparently, the case is great for the 10, 15, and 20 GB iPods, however there's a slight drawback with the 40GB: IT DOESN'T FIT. On my first try, I had to jam my 40GB iPod in the case. Taking it out was a torture, however I was in the end successful.
So I'm seriously pissed off, and I ask myself why would someone sell a case saying it fits all sizes when it gets your 40GB iPod STUCK IN THE CASE!? I need not answer that question.

So I go ahead and use rubbing alcohol (alochol loosens leather, my friends) on the case for a day at regular intervals and finally my iPod fits TIGHTLY into the case. Taking it out is still a "dangerous" procedure.

Otherwise, if you're buying this case for an iPod of smaller size than a 40GB, there's only one drawback: you must remove your iPod out of it's case to put it in the dock. Besides this minor drawback, I really like the case: it's stylish, convenient and the seams are very tight and strong. Good case, except for the dock problem and the 40GB problem

iRhythm remote not functional
I was really excited about the possibility of having internet radio available away from my computer. I enjoy listening to the radio at night while I go to sleep but the local stations [are not good]. I found out about and bought the iRhythm remote system and a stereo with an aux input so I could use it. The iRhythm remote was [inexpensive] but the stereo was not. Unfortunately the remote does not work well at my location. I can get a signal if I prop up the receiver within 12 feet of the sending unit but it has a lot of static. This makes it virtually useless for me. I also have trouble opening the software and I am not sure whether it is a server problem on the net or what. Sometimes it works sometimes not. I will say that I have Windows XP home, and that is not supported by iRhythm but I do not think that is the problem. I still want remote internet radio and will buy the first thing that comes out that looks like it will work. Maybe the Philips MC i250? Fingers crossed here.

Glorified remote control
"You can then connect the iRhythm K.O. to computer speakers or a home stereo in the same room as your PC."

The above statement is a bit misleading. The iRhythm has no audio processing built in whatsoever, and the only connector available is a USB connector for the remote control receiver (one half of the transmitter/receiver pair). You can connect your speakers or home stereo to your computer sound card output using the supplied cable. I imagine most people who buy this device will already have speakers hooked up to their computer. Note that to get your computer sound out of your living room stereo, you will likely need to run an audio cable between each. From the manual: "Q:If I don't want to run a wire from my PC to my stereo, what else can I use? A:There are a variety of radio frequency transmitters that operate over 88-107Mhz, 900MHz, or 2.4GHz that plug into your PC and transmit to your stereo." In that case, additional equipment would need to be purchased.

As a wireless remote control for your PC's *existing* audio system, the iRhythm is not bad, but only works with the supplied software, and custom configuration appears to be limited to station presets and playlists. There appears to be a rich, though not exhaustive, set of internet stations to choose from, and this list is being regularly updated.

Canon HC4100 Lockable Hard Case for GL1/GL2

    Beautiful but fatally flawed.
This case is sexy and very professional-looking. It is obviously rugged and well-constructed. But just a few minutes ago, the shoulder strap slipped through the hitch system, and the case (and expensive camera therein) slammed onto the pavement.

When I first got this case, I had noticed the ridiculous attachment of the strap (relies on friction, expecting slippery nylon webbing to grip to itself... stupid) and wondered if I should do something about it.

Other complaints - the "swivels" that connect the strap to the box - don't swivel. So the strap gets all munged up and twisted. Very annoying.

Lastly, with a quick-release tripod plate (Bogen/Manfrotto in my case) left on the camera - the case won't close! STUPID. Even a thinner plate (not that I've seen one) wouldn't work - the fit is so designed. Maybe carving out one of the rigid foam supports in the lid will fix this.

Anyway - I think you'd be better off cutting custom foam for an excellent Pelican case (also readily available on Amazon.com).

The Canon case is a very pretty thing, and will give your rig a very professional look, if that's most important to you. But a Pelican would likely survive a drop out of a car on the freeway... no way this thing would.

Basic and as inexpensive as they get
Unfortunately, if you need a ruggedized case, this is as inexpensive as they come. If you want a truly ruggedized case for professional use, this is not it. If you use a quick release tripod attachment the camera does not fit in the case.
It is quite effective for storing all of your cabling, power supply, tapes, and a few other accessories. And, let's face it, if you shelled out for the GL-2 you are going to want to protect it.
If you truly need a well protected camera and intend to use a Bogen quick release mount, and are lugging this thing all over heck and back, get a custom cut case. Otherwise, this is a great deal at the price, and very sexy.

Avoid Sony 700mb CD-R's at all costs!!!
I have had nothing but problems with Sony's line of 700mb CDR's. I couldn't complete the burn process with almost a third of the discs. The ones that did finish burning, a few of them have audio problems such as static or the cd player can't read some tracks. I have tried this product on several different burners on different computers and I have had the same problems. I couldn't even get it to work on a Sony brand burner! This is disappointing because Sony used to make great 650mb CDR's and I didn't have any problems with those. These Sony 700mb cds aren't cheap and I would spend my money on other, more reliable brands that cost less. Plus I hate those slim jewel cases that are all the rage nowadays. To all you CDR manufacturers out there: bring back regular cd cases that actually protect the cd!

      Pretty good workhorse cds
As a thank you gift to all of our wedding guests we decided to send them each a sampler of our favorite songs that had played during our wedding reception. I needed 60 cds with cases but I couldn't spend much and I wanted them to be nice and flat and light for mailing. These worked out quite well. I bought separate labels and designed a cover and while they still look homemade, they were obviously made with love and I think people will appreciate them. Also my younger brother (10) just took up trumpet and is really into jazz and now I can burn Miles Davis cds for him. I'm too broke from the wedding to buy them at the record store!

      Not for new ipods
This is for old iPods, it doesn't fit the new ones.

      Tim Robertson MyMac.com Review
.....I love my iPod, but I am going crazy worrying about damaging the thing. Really, when you spend almost five hundred bucks for a little thing to play music on, you tend to be a bit over-protective. So one of the things I wanted to do was upgrade the 20GB iPod's case, something better than the cheap sleeve Apple ships with the unit.

Enter the FlipStand from Speck Products. This is a nice solution as both an iPod case, as well as a desktop stand. The case is all plastic, with a piece of clear plastic over the iPods display. The FlipStand completely protects the iPod in a somewhat durable plastic enclosure. There is a hole at the top of the unit so that you can slip the headphone jack in, and it is wide enough to support the volume control extension the 20GB-iPod ships with.

The top of the FlipStand folds open, so that you can slip the iPod down into the unit. It also flips back to reveal the FireWire port and the Hold button.

The first thing you notice is how the iPods control wheel is hidden behind the plastic, dark Grey door. This door actually flips around behind the iPod, turning the FlipStand into a stand for the iPod. A case and stand, all in one attractive solution! Once you move the Grey door, you have easy access to the spin-wheel of the iPod, as well as Menu, Forward, Back, and Play/Pause. Larger fingers, however, will find pushing the buttons a little more difficult while using the FlipStand, and the buttons run right up against them.

Also included with the FlipStand is a detachable plastic belt-clip, so that you can take your iPod with you more easily.

All in all, I like the concept and design of the FlipStand. It seems well built, and in the two weeks I have used it, I have had no problem at all. Getting the iPod out of the FlipStand is no quick task, though. At least my 20GB unit fits very snug in its new housing. This is a good thing, as you don't want the iPod to be able to slip out easily.

For thirty-five dollars, you will enjoy the FlipStand. And while I have a few more iPod cases coming for review, they will be hard pressed to make me give up using the FlipStand on a regular basis.

Pros: good protection, great concept. Blends with the style of the iPod well. Multi-functional as both a stand and a holder.

Cons: somewhat cheap construction. A full years use will probably result in something breaking on the FlipStand, either the top flip-top, or the Grey door. Plastic joints around the movable parts do not look too sturdy for long-term use.

        Poor Design
Unlike most Sony products, this carrying case is not worth buying--it's too hard to install and remove the Clie from this case and the plastic clips are flimsy. It makes the Clie almost too fat to put in your pocket and doesn't protect your investment from dust or moisture. Save your money for something better...

        Useful protection but very flimsy
I have had my case for all of 6 month. I found it much more protective than the included flip cover as I tend to throw it in my computer bag. I dropped the case, open with my SL-10 in and the clips that lock the clie in snapped off with ease. Unfortunately, it's the best thing out there for the models it fits but not made for durability... Ah, why o' why did my Palm V and it's bullet-proof steel case have to die...

        Average case
This is just another case you can buy for a Clie SL10/SJ20/SJ22 etc. Its has custom made clips to lock to the back of your PDA securely and space for credit cards & memory sticks.

Edit: the clips to hold Clie have broken and the case is very bulky/thick. the included flip is much better.

If you want protection, then don't buy this case
Quite simply the case is so hard, I noticed a small scratch on my ipod screen after it had been in this so called protective case. Do yourself a favour and buy an iskin exo. a cover made of silicone that fits like a skin to your ipod and allows you to access the buttons, hold switch and attach your firewire and headphones without haveing to remove the Ipod from it.

        Don't waste the money!
I've got the 20gb iPod and mine did come with this case. Like other reviewers said, it's a pain to pull the machine out when you want to change a setting. The clip is really poor quality as well - I only used it a few times and the thing just snapped off. Do yourself a favor and by a nice after-market case...you'll save yourself a lot of agravation and probably save some $$ too.

If you want to USE the ipod, look elsewhere.
This case came with the ipod I purchased; in fact, it's one of the reasons I didn't purchase the 10G model. However, as a previous reviewer stated, you simply cannot use the ipod while it's in this case - it's only good for transporting it. There are other case options available that allow you to leave the ipod in the case and access its controls. I'm personally waiting for the Xtreme Mac case to become available. All controls can be accessed inside the case. You can charge the ipod while it is in the case (you can't with this case). It costs less and is made of leather, not nylon.

        Dont waste your money
This is a very lame product and it bugs me that HP has their name on it. It offers no protection for your Jornado, the button did not work on mine. the stylus is very hard to remove from the top of the case and it dosent really fit in the docking station very well.

        Is this a joke?
This product was designed to protect the Jornada, but I think that it does more harm than good. To use it, you must remove the metal cover that is already on it, and the top of the leather case isn't nearly as durable as the metal. This is also drastically over priced and I would definately not recommend it. If you are looking for good protection from shock and weather, go with the Body Glove cases.

        Does it's job
The cover does its job and looks better than the hard cover. I would like it to have a belt clip but the way it was designed it is not safe to hang it around your belt. Other than that I like it.

        disappointing and useless
My work colleague and I both ordered one for our Tungsten T3 and it hasn't worked for either of us. The Tungsten is secured to the case with a velcro patch that you put on yourself- from the beginning, every time I took my Tungsten out of the case, the velcro stayed in the case and the double sided tape remained on the back of my Tungsten. I scraped it off and put on a smaller patch of velcro (left over from when I trimmed it the first time) - same thing happened. My work colleague doesn't even use hers anymore - her Tungsten was too difficult to open in the case so she went back to her old zipped palm case. What a shame for something that looks good but is useless.

        New Lows in Palm Cases
This case has to be the biggest waste of money for someone trying to find a case for the Palm Tungstens. That Palm cannot have designed one, just one, decent case for a nice handheld like the Tungsten T3 is just astonishing. But that's the case, no pun intended, here.

Palm does a great job of making small handhelds that are busting out with capabilities. But the people at Palm who design cases seem to go ever more in the opposite direction. For example, this case is not small, being the size of a big paperback book. You know the kind. Like a Tom Clancy novel. At that size, you'd think it would hold an annual report. But no, it doesn't even have space for business cards. But it does have one, just one, slot for an app card. Seriously, how many T3 users carry around these cards? And you have to sticky some velcro on the back of your new Palm Tungsten to use it. Just crazy. Come on Palm, get real. Mine is now serving time as a paper-pad holder.

My suggestion to Palm is to fire its case team and go and hire some freshly minted product design students from either Rhode Island School of Design or Art Center and start over. For as elegant as the T3 is designed, the cases for it are sheer bulky, ugly junk.

        Good Case, Minor flaws
This is the ultimate in protection. It closes with two magnets so no buttons to fuss with; and, it's quick to open and close. The case completely encapsulates my tungsten-c and nothing is exposed to the outside so it's safe to throw it into a bag with your keys and stuff. The case closes without touching the screen or buttons so if it ends up in the bottom of your bag with a heavy book on top, no worries about the case flexing and breaking the screen. The case is lined with soft velvet and won't scratch the finish. Now for the problems... the PDA stays in using velcro but you can't really see it. The velcro does hold the PDA tight so frequent charging requires brute strength to peel it out of the case. I don't use the cradle; I prefer to use the travel charger and sync cord. The stylus cannot be removed or inserted on the tungsten-c but this should not be a problem with the tungsten-t models. The tungsten-c is a perfect fit; it is probably a little too big for other palm models. It will not hold the tungtsten-w. My only other complaint is that it is made of vinyl and not leather. But, it's cheap and it offers great protection. If money is no object then look at the $100 Vaja leather case; if you want a cheap case that offers great protection and looks custom made for the tungsten-c then look no further.

Just like everyone else, they did not fit well in my ears and continually fell out. Not only that, they do nothing to block out external noises. I'm looking again for something better, and will not be afraid to spend a little extra money.

        These are REALLY bad earphones
I bought a pair of these and will never buy them again. The covers came off the earpieces and would NEVER GO BACK ON!!!! The sound quality was also very poor. Most of the time it seemed as if people around me could hear my music better than I could because the earpieces did not fit well into my ears. These are a complete waste of money!!

What do you want for $3.00
They are great Headphones for $3.00 stop whining, what do you expect fro $3.00, none of this style of headphone, at least in my opinion is comfortable, and none of this style of headphone is going to block the noise, you need a haedphone that covers your entire ear to block noise.
