BEST PHONE I HAVE EVER USED
Finally - I found my match!
Quality and good looksThe ear piece was, at first, hard to put on, but, duh, I read the manual and am now wearing it with great pleasure and fit...as well as great audio. It even has a volume and mut control on the cord.
Anyway...I'd recommend this phone highly. Comes in blue or red...I got the red..different and flashy.

Nice traditional unitOverall a great compact simple low priced boombox. Now if only Panasonic would bring back their beautiful boomboxes of the early 80's? Perhaps a Special Edition? In silver?

PHENOMENAL
Great system for the price paidPanasonic did a good job with coming up with a system like this.
The only thing i am waiting for is for Panasonic to come with a subwoofer to add to this system. That will be great!
Yeah....what he said :)I was kind of taken aback by the lack of MP3 display on the front panel (the lesser panasonics do)--until I hooked it up to a TV. Wow--forget the 8 character lousy component DVD players...this has a full description layout for both MP3 and even regular CDs (that's what that option for CD-Text means). If you can afford it, your search ends right here. Period.
From dizzying features, build-quality, looks and sound, nothing can touch this--no, not the new similar JVC 77u either (and I'm a big JVC mini fan). For comparison in the Panasonic line, the difference between this and the lesser SC-EN7 is like a Yugo vs a Ferrari. Just buy it!

well worth the price!great picture, sound quality, and features... you can't go wrong buying this monitor. only con is not having an included dvi cable.
Little Expensive, But it's Great!I looked at the 172MP, but if I was going to do, I was going to do the 192MP. I also looked at the 173MW which is a very nice monitor, but it was 17" as well although it is 16:9. It also had some nice PIP with side-by-side configurations. In the end, the side-by-side made the computer screen very small and I decided against it. I also looked at the Sharp LL-M17W1U, but again the 17" was too small in a 16:9 format. Both of these made the PC monitor screen too small.
How do I like the 192MP? It's great.
Pros
*Better speakers than it's predessors.
*The component connection with progressive scan capability is awesome. The past monitors were better PC monitors than video. This one is very nice with the component connection for DVD. I would say the video has surpassed the quality of the PC screen. (Haven't tried HDTV yet).
*Connections on the left side (for headphone, composite/svideo w/audio) are easy to access although it would have been nice if they face backwards instead of out to the side.
*The connections on the back are easier to get to than previous models.
*The wheel around the power button for channel and volume is a nice touch.
*Menu, Exit, Enter, Source, PIP, MagicBright buttons on the right side are handy.
*Having only the power button with the channel/volume ring makes the front look very clean and elegant.
*The infrared for the remote is below the power button works better than previous placement on the top. On older models, the placement at the top sometimes made it hard to get to with a glare screen on it.
*The monitor knows when nothing is connected to an input and it will skip it as a choice when scrolling through the inputs. So, you don't waste time passing through inputs with no connections.
*I don't do gaming, so I don't have an opinion there.
*There's a wide mode for the screen to watch DVDs in the 16:9 aspect ratio.
*PIP can be 4:3 or 16:9
Cons
*I liked the other models which showed which input it was on using LEDs and they took that away.
*Doesn't have a line out to let me go between external speakers and internal speakers (but the connection is on the side, so it's easy to pull in and out).
*The PIP isn't very flexible with size (one size) and position (four positions). The older models had more flexibility. The 150MP the most. It diminished a little with the 170MP.
Conclusion - This is doing what I want (above the 170MP I had). Bigger, better screen. Great for DVDs with component progressive scan. The speakers are much better. The look is much cleaner and it's more ergonomic. I'm very happy with this monitor. It's just really expensive. But, I think it does deliver.

Great Player
Also plays DVD +RIn the past, if you wanted max format compatibility, you had to sacrifice video quality. Sure, you can stick a slice of pizza in a Sony DVP-NS725P and it will play a Little Caesars commercial, but the video quality is horrendous. I searched high and low looking for a player that can read a wide range of formats, including DVD +R, without having to sacrifice quality...and just when I was about to give up, someone turned on a Grail shaped beacon.
Enter the Pioneer DV-563A. I dropped in every +R that I have and it played them flawlessly. No skipping, no laser chirping. It even played disks on lower quality media that were burned right to the edge. Absolutely awesome.
By the way, the specs do not advertise +R and I am using a recorder that supports bit setting so your mileage may vary.
Where is everybody?I don't know it may compare with the $$$ players, but I find
the aural experience of SACD and DVD-A very nice for this price.

Great little radio! The FM band receives like my car stereo does. It picks up about every station I would want to listen to and a few others I couldn't pick up from within my house. The AM band is sensitive, but being that I live in a rural area, I suspect it will be even better when I travel with it. The TV band also picks up very clear.
The radio has simple controls and is designed to be easy to use. The backlight comes in handy if you like to listen in bed.
The retracable ear phones are adequate and help reception on AM stations.
All in all, this was a great buy I would recommend to anyone.
The holy grail of pocket radios!
