Don't use plain paper
I just got my Canon i550 printer. I printed out a photo on plain paper, and the quality is very bad. I was so disappointed. I started to doubt people's praises on the Canon printer. Then I bought the Cannon Photo Paper Plus Glossy, and was stunned at the printed result. It's dark room development quality. So I guess it's the combination of the printer and the paper that makes it look good.

Price: 50 cents/page + ink = less than $1/page. The price for 8x10 development on ofoto.com (a Kodak's company) is four times more expensive at $3.99.

Quality: Stunning

Dimension: I don't know why 8.5x11 has become the standard for photo printing. Most frames out there are 8x10. Do I suppose to trim the printout myself?

Borderless: it's almost borderless, but my printer gave me a border of 1/16 inch on the top and right of the paper. I used the A4 size on Canon Photo Print application.

Best paper for Canon printers
I tested my new Canon i960 with a variety of papers. Like most printers, the output is much better when using the manufacture's own paper (as opposed to the cheaper generic paper), but there is no need to buy the most expensive "Pro" paper as neither I nor my wife could discern ANY difference between the two. There may be a benifit to the "Pro" paper that cannot be seen (lasts longer?) but at almost twice the cost it is not worth it - this paper will produce the highest quality prints on your Canon printer (I think they look better than the ones I get from the photo lab).

Lab-quality prints
I have a Canon S300 printer - basically a 2-year-old, fifty dollar printer - and with this paper I get lab quality prints. I can print my 2 megapixel photos at 8x10 size.

With the cost of this paper ($0.50/sheet) plus the ink ($0.50/sheet) coming to $1/sheet, that's not bad for an 8x10. Go for it an impress your grandma.

It's all in the paper now
You need to couple this [PhotoPro Paper] with the wide-format Canon i9100 printer. This borderless printer easily handles the 13x19 Photo Pro Paper and reproduces your screen creations with unbelievable and outstanding results. 5 Stars!!!

Unbelievable Results
I use this paper for large format professional photos. With the standard Canon S9000 ink and this paper, photos are rated as "archival" quality (25 years no fade) which is good enough for some of my gallery pieces. The quality of the output on this paper with the Canon S9000 is better than any printer in its class. The ink/paper combination even smells like traditional film based output. Large format photos print and dry very quickly and rarely have quality issues. One warning, the paper comes in a resealable cello wrapper. Be careful that you don't lay a photo on the outside of the wrapper. The glue can stick to the photo, destroying it.

Full Color Range
I use this paper with my Canon S9000 printer to get large blowups of the shots I take with my Olympus E10, and I get sharp images and rich colors. I've scaled down some prints to 11x14 so that I can fit them into standard 11x14 mats and 16x20 frames. I have printed some 13x19 pixs and the quality is excellent, but they will have to be custom matted, which can be expensive.

This is the paper to use if you have a Canon S9000.

Digital photography has come a long way!

Classic w/ Captioning
Before you purchase this remote for use with Canon's Classic Sureshot 120, make sure you have the "caption" model. This remote will not work with the standard 120.

Practical Solution for CD Collectors
I have a large collection of cd's, and have found these sleeves to be invaluable. Sleeves take much less space than jewel boxes, and also are much lighter- very practical if you DJ, move frequently, live in a small space, have a very large cd collection, or otherwise like to move or store your cd's or dvd's with ease.
Case Logic prosleeves are designed to hold a cd on one side, and the cd booklet or another cd on the other side. The 100 pack can be misleading, because if you want to store the booklet with the cd, you can only store 50. If you store 2 cd's per sleeve, then you can store 100 with the 100 pack. They are not designed to hold the liner notes that come with the cd on the back of the cd case-one drawback of vinyl sleeves. I have not found a cd sleeve that is designed to hold the liner notes from the back.
The top of the sleeve holds a label of the artist and title, or what ever you like to put on the label. You can tear one end off the back liner that comes with the cd to make a perfect label, or you can make your own with the pre-cut labels provided.
Another advantage to these sleeves is they don't break. Jewel boxes are designed to break when you drop them, and they do. These sleeves are light, and when I have dropped them with a cd in them, they don't fall hard. I have never broken or otherwise damaged a cd that was in a sleeve, though of course it is possible. It is also important to know that these sleeves are a little bit wider than jewel boxes, so they don't usually fit in the same storage units as jewel boxes.

Much better than jewel cases!
I love these sleeves! They're easier to store and take up less space than jewel cases, without being prone to the fragility of the latter. Cheaper, too!

Good, if you have the case needed.
Not a lot to say. If you have the case, you're gonna need refils. And, here's a lot. Granted u need a lot of cds, but, hey, u might have em.

The best all-purpose active/sports watch I have ever owned.
I have brought this watch through the trials of time and it continues to function flawlessly. I bought this watch before enduring 6 weeks of boot camp at the United States Naval Academy. The Casio G-Shock performed great in the mud, rain, rivers, and grueling sessions of physical training. If it can handle the military, it can handle any civilian duty!!

Smash it, thrash it, crush it and it continues to tick
One of the best watches I have ever owned. A poster watch when it comes to durability and functionality. Doesn't have complex functions and bizzaro controls, but rather is suited for just about every individual. If you are an active outdoor individual and are afraid of hurting your watch when rollerblading, snowboarding, anything -- then buy a G-Shock and you will not be disappointed.

The Most Rugged Watch In the World
This watch is the best all purpose watch. I am a Firefighter and I rely on this all the "time". I also reccomend this to people who work with electricity because of the all rubber design there is no chance the band will conduct and shock you unlike metal banded watches. And the price is the best I have seen.

Amazing . . .a review from a skeptic
I am a pro writer in Nashville. I needed some sort of highly portable keyboard to have access to in the trunk of my car, etc. for writing dates. It needed to be light, have it's own speakers, I wanted it to have a way of recording what I was playing, preferably have the option of battery operation and, most importantly, have a good piano sound. My final criteria was that I wanted 76 keys instead of the normal 61 key that are found on smaller keyboards (ala the Yamaha PSR series). I had decided that - for the money - the only contender was the Yamaha DGX series. What a surprise when several keyboard players recommended I check this unit out. I have to admit total bias against the casio name. But I tried it and it sounds great. The piano, organ and electric piano sounds are wonderful. It is a bit larger and heavier than the 61 key PSR series by Yamaha but the sounds really beat the DGX until you get to the top of that line (or certainly the top of the PSR line). One word of caution, the only audio output on this keyboard is the headphone output. So if you plan on playing it live you'll want to get a cable that goes from 1/4" TRS to Left and Right outputs. I can't believe what $300 can buy in a keyboard. Casio has really shocked me with this one.

Nothing but incredible
One word describes the WK-3000: amazing! I thought Casio was not all that great until I got this. It boasts over 300 different voices, almost any kind of rhythm you can think of, a SmartMedia memory card slot, drawbar organ, SMF player and much more.
You can also record your own song with up to 6 instruments. So you can sound like a ear-blasting rock band or a full-size orchestra.
I tried the SmartMedia card slot. It worked great, but I thought it was for putting your songs on the computer and burning them to a CD. Turns out it was for expanding your keyboard's memory.
Haven't tried the SMF player yet, but like all the other features on the keyboard, it should be great!
Advice: Buy if you love music.

Welcome, Casio! Yamaha: so long, until you can beat this...
After having being away from playing music for almost three years, I was curious as to what would portable keyboards be up to. As it was my habit (having owned three previous Yamaha Portasound keyboards) I went for the latest release in Yamaha's portable lineup, only to be dissapointed at the lack of versatility and mostly at the lack of power in the keyboard's output. Since I am up for portability (not wanting or being able to hook it up to a whole bunch of external gear to make it sound good), this was a major deal breaker for me... for the first time in my life, I turned Yamaha down.

Then, I turned around (I literally turned around, since I was in a Sam Ash store!) and I glanced at this baby. "A Casio!" -I said to myself... Wasn't thrilled at the prospects, I must admit, because I remember Casio's cheesy-sounding tones of ole. It's almost like I wanted to forget them: oh, how much I hated the tones that the Casio keyboards came with. But I gave it a shot, and today I am happy that I did. This keyboard, even today, almost two months after I bought it, comes with far more options than I think I will ever come up with uses for!

It comes pre-loaded with far more high-quality tones than you will ever need, with a wide array of pianos, electric pianos and organs, opening the line-up. Are you a synthesis freak? No problem! You can play with a bunch of parameters within all the tones and save up as many as 100 of your newly created tones,. and if you want more, you can download more tones and rhythms from the Casio music or elsewhere in the Web, ad nauseam, since you can expand the memory with an standard SmartMedia card.

As for rhythms, there's plenty of those too (you can also make different drum kits play different rhythms than those they're programmed for, for an array of very interesting combinations), and you can save quite a few of your songs for playback, as well as keyboard configurations, or split the keyboard, or mix two sounds to be played, with awesome control over volume of each, etc. I mean, with the Casio WK-3000 Professional Series 76 Key Digital Recording Studio Styled Keyboard by Casio (now, THAT's one deserved mouthful) you really have it all.

    AWESOME
These SonicXJR's are awesome. The speakers go loud and deep. It produces clear, amazing sound. It's a great price for all it can do.

Theyre great for the college dorm room too.
    Good for dance parties.

    Sound great. Look great.

    Great speakers for computer systems
I own a set of these speakers and find them to be best for [their price.] They are also well built and I love the look. They look like good speaker cabinets and not cheap plastic like you usually see in computer speakers. I love them and ordered 2 more sets from Amazon for I paid more for my pair elsewhere!

    Exceptional audio quality
i was amazed when i first plugged this hardly small 2.1 set into my computer(which will only take a couple seconds for the tech savvy and maybe a minute or 2 for the not so competant). it has only 60watts RMS so i wasnt expecting much power but i was utterly amazed by the bass and it also hit high notes very well. overall for "a good price" these speakers are a great buy

    Very Small
These speakers are the perfect companion for a laptop computer. They are small, portable ( I don't even bother with the power cable, I run them on cheap batteries.) and have great sound.

I'm on the road constantly so portability is number one for me. I use them with my laptop to watch DVDs. The only limitation is volume,if you crank it up they will distort. But for watching DVDs in a hotel room they are perfect.

    Well done Creative Labs.

    Better Than You Might Think
I purchased this from Amazon after several hours of "whim" buying study. It seemed these had the best chance of being better than some of the cheapie portables i was familiar with. Much to my delight i was NOT disappointed. Granted with speakers this size you cant expect sub-like bass but actually theres more than i expected. Sound quality was very clear and the "wide" stereo feature is nice. High volume levels will cause distortion but you'll get a good amount of volume before you get distortion. If you buy these thinkin you'll get home stereo sound, forget it. If you buy these wanting a great set of "listen in the hotel room" travel speakers these work great!

A must have for sound on the go!
I purchased this item from my local store and I'm very satisfied with its quality.
Of course, the sound quality cannot compete with HiFi systems, but for such a small speaker, the sound quality is really good. The frequency response is 150-20k, according to creative. So it is a little dry in the low freq range, as expected. Aside from that, the sound quality is very good. And it's not completely bassless as you might think.
You can get the volume high enough for room of about 20 square meters with decent sound quality. But if you adjust the volume too high it'll become noisy.
In a word, its sound quality is not top-notch. But for such a small speaker, it's much better than you'd expect. For a rough reference, its sound quality is about the same as what you can get for a pair of conventional speakers at the price range of around US$25.
The best feature of this gadget may be its digitalized amplifier. Unlike conventional linear amplifer which will waste a lot of power, travelsound uses a digital amplifier. So the battery life is longer. Creative claims a set of four AAA alkline battery can last more than 30 hours, I didn't count the hours but I think the claim is quite reasonable.

In a word, if you want music on the go, this is the one for you.

    don't leave home without one
I purchased the DigiPower DPS 9000 originally for an Olympus C2100 Ultra Zoom camera. I recently upgraded to a Nikon Coolpix 5700 but wouldn't buy it until I knew the DPS 9000 would work with it. This is a must-have for digital photographers. It completely eliminates the need for batteries without adding a lot of weight and unlike other higher-end external packs, the cord connecting it to the camera is not attached to a waist unit, constantly getting in the way. I started with one and added a second pack. The first time I used it, it lasted as long as four sets of rechargeable batteries had on a previous ocassion. Easy to use, and in the long run easy on the wallet, with no need to ever buy another battery/battery charger. It has a "fuel gauge" on the side, letting you know how much power you have left. It includes four different connecting cables (and a chart letting you know which one matches your camera) and a car charging unit as well.

    A Must Have
I bought this pack for use with my Olympus C3000z and almost two years later I'm on my second camera and this pack is still going great. I keep regular NiMH's in my bag just in case but have only needed them once. I love shooting fireworks and close up items and almost always have to use the LCD which eats batteries like I eat candy. Great that it comes with chargers especially the car adapter. Only problem I've had is when I screw my mono-pod to it I sometimes can't get it off without removing the camera and all but don't know of any way this could be addressed.

If your even contemplating this PowerPack DO IT! You won't be sorry.

Digipower DPS-9000 digital camera power pack
This pack is one of the most important accessories to get for power hungry digital cameras such as my Minolta Dimage 7. It is lightweight (only 120 grams) and well balanced on the camera. The power is awsome, easily enough for a full day of heavy shooting. Considering that it is the equivalent of at least three or four sets of nimh AAs, there is a big weight saving, in addition to the convenience of not having to change batteries frequently. Even its charger is very lightweight, and it's ideal for travelling since it handles both 110 and 220 volts.

    Fast and Easy Find
This is a handy little tool to find bible passages or just read the bible in KJV or use to compare the KJV to your favorite bible translation. Enter a scripture reference and it will bring you right to the passage. Or enter a word or a phrase and it will bring up the scrip refer one at a time to view the passage it is in. You can choose the font to small, medium or large to display on the screen.
Easy to use, you don't need a vass amount of knowledge to use this it is very simple.

much much better than paper media...
The KJV Bookman card adds the text of the KJV Bible to your bookman device; For example, I use mine with the Webster dictionary.

If you read the Bible often, if you find yourself trying to locate a verse or phrase, or if you're participating in a Bible study, the KJV Bible in Bookman card would be a great choice. The card offers much much more than a book printed on paper:

    - You can jump to any book, chapter or verse instantly (there's a simple notation for specifying a location in the Bible).

    - You can search for words, phrases, use pattern matching, etc. The card lets you determine the approximate distance between words in a given search, which is a great feature -- this will let you narrow down on even complex searches, so you get be at the chapter and verse within seconds.

    - The KJV is annotated with notes to clarify difficult words, etc.

    - [THIS IS THE BEST] If you come across a verse you want to remember -- just bookmark is with a single keystroke. You can have several bookmarks, and you can jump to any bookmark with a single click.

And, of course, if you're reading somewhere within the Bible and all of a sudden you need to turn your unit off, you can subsequently turn it back on and it will be show the same screen as before you turned it off. This feature is great when in transit -- you can just shut down the unit, get on or off a bus, and then turn it back on when you want to read some more. Another great feature is that you can choose the size of the letters -- if you have a hard time reading a printed version of the Bible, just select the larger size letters and read away.

I like my unit and use it a lot. Together with a Franklin dictionary, this makes a great combination: Read a book or an article or a novel, see a word you don't know, look it up in the dictionary; See something you suspect is a reference to the Bible, just switch to the KJV and search for it.
