light earphones
i dont know why i bought these. oh yeah. i do, cause they were mad cheap. plus, from the reviews that i read. (the two ratings that are on every site i have looked up) i thought these looked pretty cool and i was excited that you could sleep with them on without being strangled by the cord the next morning. they really did look cheap in the box. and they were kinda hard to get on. probably cause i have 3 earrings on one side. including a cartilage. but. besides that they really are comfortable, secure, and really light. overall, these are pretty good. the bass is really quiet, but its good quality none the less. the music plays through the earphones though. maybe my music is a little to loud. but you can hear the music, even if its not on your ears.

The dream of a struggling ... music listener
After returning some really lame earbuds I got, I needed some headphones that actually stayed attached to my ears and I could preferably lay down with. Oh yeah and were cheap, poor schmucks like me need the cheap part. Anyway these are pretty darn nice for all of the above. Oh the sound is pretty good too (you know, if you care about things like sound quality or something when you buy headphones) Sadly I think my ears are a bit small with makes them sit at a somewhat strange angle but for everyone else in my family they fit nicely. So if you too are a poor schmuck who needs good comfortable sleeping headphones (and don't have smallish ears) then I highly recommend these.

So light, you won't even know it's there...
I wanted a set of headphones to wear to bed, so I could fall asleep listening to music without disturbing my roommates. I've always been impressed with Panasonic's quality of product, and so I browsed for Panasonic headphones that looked like they wouldn't hurt if I lay my head down on its side while wearing the headphones. I've found that out of the headphones my friends have, the most comfortable ones were the ones that fit around and behind the ear, without the annoying over-the-head strap/band. I saw this set and thought they might just be the thing I was looking for.

I received them from amazon.com/J & R about a week after ordering, and I am extremely happy with them. The first time I held the package it came in, I thought, "No way, this feels so light. Almost cheap..." I opened the box, and I handled them, and to my surprise they felt really well made.

What made my jaw open in shock was how I felt after I put them on -- YOU CAN BARELY TELL YOU'RE WEARING THEM!! It's damn amazing how well designed they are, how unobtrusive, how COMFORTABLE. If there's one tiny, tiny, tiny complaint, it's the color of the cord (white) and also how it doesn't really hit lows as well as most headphones. It plays bass clear and wonderfully, just not as loud.

I've been using them for about 3 weeks now, slept with them on regularly, rolled around in my sleep as usual, and they've worked as perfect as they did on day one. That's a testament to their quality right there. My friend was thoroughly impressed and wants me to order him a pair as well.

Don't pass these up if you're looking for light-weight, comfortable, durable headphones. Me, I'm gonna go order a few more right now.

Great system
We have a karaoke system at home. When we run the
player thru this system, it sounds fantastic. Just using
the turner or CD player, it's the same. One very small drawback
(and it is easy to live with)is the time going from disc
to disc. Get this system for your home and you won't be sorry.

sounds like a boise
i just bought one to day and it shakes my room my parents LIKE THAT and it is not 300W it is 360Watts and i have a boies and i got this and i gave my dad the boies well i like it thank you.

Shocked by the sound quality
Got this as a boombox replacement for my backyard and my annual jaunt to the desert where a large wooden man is burned and was seriously impressed by the sound. At 75% volume its got clear sound with tons of bass on everything from Bad Brains to Barber's Adagio For Strings Remix. I haven't turned it up higher then this because honestly I don't want complaints from my neighbors. I have never heard anything at this low of a price range that remotely comes close to the sound this puts out.

The CD changer seems kind of clunky when switching discs but when your getting 11 hours of music on one mp3 CD it really dosent matter.

Look ma, no skips!
I'm extremely happy with this cd player. My previous player was more than 10 years old and would play for 4 hours on a new set of batteries. Looking at it funny would make it skip. But this one is soooooo much better! I've had it for about a month and a half and it is still running on the first set of batteries. It is also much more durable. I haven't dropped it yet, but I've hit it pretty hard and flipped it upside down, just to see. It just kept on playin'. (This was a test I did for my mother so that she could see how durable it was. Now, I'm back to order a second one for her!) I haven't tested all of the bells and whistles on it, but so far, I have been very pleased.

a perfect player for everyone.
this player is fantastic,it gives you everything you expected in a player.First of all,the size of this cd player is very small and compact just a little bit bigger than a cd.it is also quite slim(0.9 inch),I could even put it into my pocket.Next this cd player does not skip at alleven if you drop it.when i drop the it on the floor around 4 feet high,it still play without any skipping. The playtime of it is super long, more than 60 hours, that is enough to last me for half a month.overall it is the best player for anyone as the price of it is not too expensive either.

highly recommended
I researched portable CD players and Consumer Reports rates this one tops in their 09/02 ratings. It is hard to know which one to buy so I rely on recommendations.

Once you go Plasma you will never go back
I purchased this TV in August after returning a Sony 32 inch(not plasma) that had taken my small apartment over like a huge silver box. I live in a studio in Manhattan 12 feet wide and rather long. The body of the Sony stuck out like a sore thumb and the picture just didn't suit me. I saw this Panasonic Plasma and went for it. HD, I was told, was the way to go but if your cable company doesn't upgrade to it what good is it. Your TV is only as good as the cable service you have and this TV is to die for. The stand on this model is rounded so that it fits on smaller tables, I didn't opt for the wall mount as I like to turn the TV left and right depending on where I sit. Everyone said it would be too big but no way. I could have gone for the 50. This EDTV is the best purchase I have ever made. I haven't even touched the extras as yet. I still am in awe everytime I walk into my apartment and turn this baby on. Go for it. Worth every penny. How can anyone watch those "little" funny rounded TVs? Once you go Plasma there is no going back. I did have some audio problem in the beginning and had to turn the stero audio off because it was too "wavy". The sound would go in and out on the music portion of the show butI believe this was due to my cable. I have had no other problems and I can't even tell it's not on the stero the sound is so amazing. The only draw back is when you travel you can't take it with you.

Great TV--you may not need the speakers
We've been very happy with this TV--even more so now that we finally got HDTV from out cable company. The picture is excellent. The built-in speakers are pretty good, but you're probably going to want to go to a multi-speaker system, so you might consider saving a few bucks and getting a panel with no speakers.

Superb
This TV is absolutely outstanding. The contrast of this generation of Panasonics is class leading and it provides a truly awesome picture. Panasonic make their own panels and imo they make the best panels. For those of your worrying about the EDTV vs. HDTV issue then be assured that a HDTV signal looks fabulous on this screen - my Time Warner install guy who hooked up the HDTV box was drooling over the Discovery HD Theatre picture. It is true that HDTV signals will look slightly better still on a higher resolution set (though I cannot tell the difference) but on the flip side ordinary TV (and we will all be watching a lot of that for many years to come) looks a lot better (less grainy) at this resolution. DVD's also mate perfectly to 480p and look amazing. This screen really is the best of all worlds.

I cannot recommend this set highly enough - it has every conceivable input (even coaxial for those without a digital cable box), great sound and a very contemporary look. It is especially suitable for those who cannot be bothered with a home theatre set up with all the extra speakers that entails - the simulated suround sound it provides is really very good with only a few bass hicups. Amazingly, even the wife likes it (though she struggles to admit it!)You will not be dissapointed.

Great Camera
I purchased the camera after owing a 1.3 mp camera. After the 1st time of using the camera, my God-daughter borrowed it to use at school. She loves it and so do I so I had to buy a second one. Easy to use, photos are nothing short of great. I learned by using 2300 mAh batteries, and up, you can take loads of flash photos and not have to worry about battery power loss. I wouldn't hesitate telling anyone to get this camera. They would not be sorry.

great digital camera
I spent a week researching the internet and photo magazines before deciding on the Optio 30. A major selling point, besides price, was that it uses the much smaller and popular SD card for external storage. I bought a new 256 Mb card for $40 (after rebate). I've had the camera for only three days and have taken over 100 hundred pictures in varying resolution. I haven't printed any photos, but uploaded into a computer they all turned out really well. The camera is easy to hold and the control buttons are simple to configure. The Optio 30 is ready to shoot about 2 secs after powering it up. The case has a metallic finish which will repel minor scratches, and the lens retracts nicely into the body after powering down. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Defective out of the box, but replacement worked fine
I had to return it because the LCD display worked for a few minutes, then went very dark. I have ordered another one, thinking that this might be a rare manufacturing defect.

I will be using it a lot this summer, so we'll see if the display holds up this time.

All else worked correctly. I liked the over-all size & placement of the controls.

7/01/2004....The camera has been working great. No problems with the digital display. I'll up my review from the original one star to now 5 stars. It turned out to be exactly what I wanted. Simple, yet very capable.

Works perfect for those laptops who you may think will not!
Well aside from Amazon.com not being able to carry out my 1 day shipping request, they were nice enough to refund my shipping costs and I had my product the day after!

I was told the Mitac 7321 would ONLY support 256 upgrades and not a 512 or that it was untested. Well Im PROUD to say the memory works!!! =D (Im currently at 640)

Here is a tip for those of you who need some thoughts about taking a risk at high end upgrades. If your PC is LESS then 1 GHZ, This item is not for you as your pc will most likey not support it, the 512 SD RAM PC 100 may however, but if your higher then 1 GHZ, go for it! Just make sure your Bios is also up to date. Hope this helps you all! =)

Works great in my iMac
Installation into the iMac 800 Mhz (17" wide screen model) was a breeze. Memory was immediately recognized by the system.

Good 512MB SODIMM for notebooks
When I first got this module, I was worrying that my notebook wouldn't take it (its a Sony PCG-R505EL) due to its 512MB capacity. Fortunately it did!!!! So thankful that my notebook doens't require Sony Proprietory Memory Modules. Now the notebook runs so much smoother (at 640MB) than the old days (256MB). PNY just helped me save over 200 bucks in comparison to the Kingston module for this notebook model!

Great for media
Literally destroys cds, dvds and floppy disks. I was surprised when it chomped its way through the floppies, metal and all and left nothing but little pieces. As far as paper is concerned, I would use an other kind of shredder such as a confetti type as this one you have to fold the paper so it doesn't always shred in small enough pieces. If you have media to get rid of, there is no better little shredder than this. I keep it next to my computer and it doesn't take up much room so it is very handy to use.

Great for CD's and Credit Cards, not so great for paper
This is a great shredder if you want to destroy CDs, DVDs, and credit cards, but I'd pass if you are looking for a personal shredder to effectively destroy paper.

The shredder appears to almost completely destroy CD's, leaving very, very small pieces in the catch basin.

The paper shredding functionality is not nearly as good as cross-cut shredder, leaving pieces that could easily be reassembled by somebody who enjoys puzzles. In order to shred a standard piece of paper, you must fold the pages in half, and you can only shred seven pages at a time.

The credit card shredding is about the same as paper, but since cutting credit cards up with scissors is even less effective, this is a good choice for that purpose.

Hard to find retail, but worth the hunt online
This is a great monitor, better than you will see in the usual computer chain stores (they claim not to have heard of it). We have one of the early digital graphics cards in our computer but ran into incompatibility of the plug (different DV standards exist)and have had to go analog because of it. Check your DV plug if you are buying it for that purpose. We had a one pin difference that caused the problem. I like it as well as my 21 inch CRT at work. Looks good as part of the work area, nice asthetics. Can't go wrong here. I researched the specs a year ago when I bought it, checked the reviews, and it remains a standout even a year later.

Excellent in DVI mode, okay in analog.
I first connected this monitor to my old analog VGA card. It looked good, but the text looked very "anti-aliased", which is to say that the edges were a bit soft. I went out and purchased an NVidia card that had a DVI output, and connected the Samsung to that. What a difference! This is what computing should be about. The 17" monitor is big enough so that the native 1280x1024 resolution is very usable. Fonts are easily readable, and this is so crisp I can hardly go back to a CRT when I go to work every day.

If you need to use an LCD in analog mode, look at Viewsonic instead. Their analog to digital translation has always been great. However, if you can get a DVI video interface on your PC, this is the monitor to have.

I use this monitor under RedHat 7.3, and it works great.

breathtaking
Not much to say. The screen is breath-taking. You must run it with 1280x1024 resolution, since that's how many pixels it has. Otherwise it tries to scale things, and the first thing to go is the text.

The screen seems huge. It has low power consumption. It turns on instantly, so you don't wait for it to warm up like a CRT. It installed effortlessly on Windows ME and then again on Windows XP.

Great kitchen or desktop TV!
After having lusted after LCD TV's of this size for some time, I was lucky enough to spot this model as a close-out display unit at half-price. This TV has excellent picture quality with only a slight loss of brightness and color intensity as you move your viewing angle from side to side. The sound and stereo imaging effect is actually quite good, considering the overall size of the unit. It has any type of sound and video input you could desire, including video from a PC that can be used in conjunction with a regular TV signal as a picture-in-picture display.

I purchased a pivoting and extending wall mounted arm that is designed for Sharp and Samsung TV's of this size. This allows it to be mounted under a kitchen cabinet and can then be pulled out and pivoted at any angle. This requires the (easy - four screws) removal of the standard base. It can then be pushed up against the wall when not in use to maximize counter space. The on-screen menu allows for a full range of video and audio setting changes, including standard, movie, and custom modes. Overall, this is a great TV.

Happy Customer
My 65-year-old mom is concerned the radiation produced from "regular" TV. She wants me to get her a less priced flat panel TV in her 45 by 50 room. After three month's intensive searching (local store visiting, internet surfing), I decide to get her a Samsung. I was intent to get her the Samsung LTM-1775W 17", but I'm not ready for the price, yet. I saw the LTM-1555.... The 15" has surprisingly better viewing quality than her four-year-old-brand-name 25" CRT TV, though the sound quality is not that good(better than the old TV, of course). Now, my mom is using it as TV and computer monitor. She's happy with the clear pictures and I'm happy that the setting interface is easy. It's a BEST BUY.

A great little TV
This 15" Samsung HD liquid crystal television is great for someone who doesn't mind the small screen. The picture is fantastic. I pluged mine into a normal cable and the picture was better than a satelite connection. Movies are also top qualitiy. It isn't heavy, so you can easily move it from room to room. My only complaint is the sound quality. I paid over a thousand dollars for it, including the warranty, and expected it to have BBE high definition sound, but it doesn't.

This thing is unreal...
This TV is amazing. Its less than 3 inches thick and perfectly built. All quality, all top of the line. The remote sucks but once you turn on the tv you dont care anymore. HDTV is crystal clear, itll blow your socks off. Dvd's on progressive scan look great, but digital tv is a just little fuzzy but you learn to deal with it, because HD and Dvd are superb. you wont be dissapointed if you buy this.

Yea thats right samsung is da bomb. when i opened the box i was surprised that the TV was quite big (in a good way of course). Turned it on it was clearly one of the best looking TVs i had ever seen. Put in Finding Nemo DVD via Component cable.....Just blew me away with is clearity..This display rivals a Front Projector DLP! The sound is great with virtual DOLoby Surround sound all you have to do is connect a subwoofer and your good to go. The LCD is rich in featurs and conections. With DNIe technology that helps diliver the great images. The DVi, 2 component and Composite, + one s video inputs, and a subwoofer input. You will have a place to put every ELectonic device into the TV. The other way this TV shines is in its video game support. The component cable is a must have if you own a Xbox the graphics will blow your mind away! Every detail is shown very great experiance....GOOD JOB SAMSUNG nice TV....I Mean GREAT TV!

Great product
Superb image with 720p HDTV and computer graphics..........excellent audio with impressive spatial effects,,,,,,,beautiful 480p pictures from DVDs...........very wide viewing angle, very bright, high contrast, fast response LCD with no smearing, very crisp display......geometry in both 4 to 3 and 16 to 9 widescreen modes is superb.....test patterns from Arvia calibration disk reveal virtually perfect linearity, gray scale, tracking, and totally orthogonal raster with no pincushion or barrel distortion with extremely precise centering..........watch out Sony, Panasonic, Sharp, etc.......this set is terrific.....Minor nits ........remote is laid out badly, not backlit, and only has codes for limited 3rd party compatibility.....my HDTV cable box from Scientific Atlanta is not supported.....actually NONE of the Scientific America cable boxes are supported.........also, picture in picture limited to only a few modes which cannot mix, for example, computer images with component video from cable box, DVD, etc...........Longer warranty would be a nice plus........No audio output jacks except for subwoofer output (really!) and headphone jack........
