Great for a second lens
I bought this for my QTsi camera. It is a great second lens for this camera. If you want to take professional looking photographs, using this lens with a tripod will give you remarkable results. Be sure to set the camera on the photograph setting. This lens is also great for taking those far off pictures, (the ones that are over before you run and get there). Be sure to set your camera for action to help compensate for camera or subject movement for those far off shots. Great also for capturing those special moments at sporting events or concerts, even when you have nose-bleed seats. The AF function helps capture special moments without having to constantly adjusting the lens focus. You can also turn off the AF and take some artistic shots, even if you have never used a SLR camera before. Minolta has come up with a wonderful system that makes taking excellent and exciting photographs easy for everyone.

Good lens
I bought this lens for a HTSi. It works just fine. I recommendit highly. . . .

    Extremely Pleasing Transcients
I bought a pair of the ESP 950's in 1994 from a wholesaler for 495.00, I have collected high end audio gear my whole life and have several complete systems; however night time listening can
make your family very hostile...so I use these for stealth listening of my SACD and Hybrid Surrond encoded DVD's and Cd's.
The transcients on electrostatic phones are amazing, they tend to be a little bright with standard supplied connects, so I use my Transparent Audio Music Plus RCA inter-connects to the koss
E 90 unit which come with and runs these babies. Shear heaven!
I have been thinking of having some one build me a tube headphone amp for these headphones...then my family would be hostile again ..cause I would not want to go to work anymore.

This is one real good stereophone. Stereophones. Plural.
Real good and real expensive. What else can you say?

    rock solid
This is my second LaCie firewire drive, and it's a winner. I've used it for six months now, capturing video directly to it from my DV cam, editing video stored on the drive in Final Cut Pro, and storing hundreds of other files on it.

The drive is a bit noisy, but I think most external drives are. The nice thing is that the drive sleeps when it's not in use, and the motor whine dies down at that time.

    Mac Users' Instant Easy Storage
Excellent quality. Whisper-quiet. Case does not heat up. Easy to install and you can store your big files directly onto the drive from your computer without performing the partitioning for Windows, Mac and DOS platforms. The unit came to my lab with a pre-formatted MAC OS X. It's so efficient to work on multiple projects having a storage drive like this where you can work with the programs within the drive.

    Great adapter
I was thinking it won't work in my Pentax Optio 330GS digital camera, but it work, I ordered all the way to colombia trough my suite in Miami, works perfect

    Universal Adapter Works Great!
I bought this adapter to accompany my new Olympus digital camera because it was much less expensive than the Olympus brand adapter.

This adapter is versatile; it comes with 4 different plug-ins to fit an assortment of devices.

    Excellent card!
I wanted to buy the same brand card that came with my Nikon coolpix 2100 and I'm not disappointed. It works even better and faster with the camera and a 128 mb is a must.

    Works great so far...
I got it sooner than I was supposed to with the free shipping and it works really well with my canon s230 digital elph. I also use this card with a card reader, the same brand. I picked this card because it was 12x. I know there are cheaper 128 cards, but my canon shoots 3 minute video clips if the card is fast enough to write the data, and this one is!

    Tested....
...and found to have *exactly* the same write time as the Sony. My experience with these same write tests on CompacFlash & SmartMedia cards, which show rather marked differences from brand to brand but little variance among cards from the same manufacturer, indeed suggests that Lexar is the original manufacturer for Sony. Think of the Lexar then as an off-label or generic equivalent to the Sony, made on the same assembly line but offered at a lower price.

    This will work
This works just like the Sony Memory Stick. 32mb is probably the smallest size anyone should go for these days. The transfer speed is better than compact flash. Bottom line, this works and since Lexar is in the memory market for some times now, you can trust this brand.

The Free Jumpshoot Cable makes it easy!
I have the 48meg Lexar card and just love it. The best thing is the Jumpshoot cable which hooks to any computer with a USB port (hot-swappable). Instead of hooking your camera up to your computer, you can simply take the card out of your camera and insert it in the Jumpshot Cable's slot. Then, the CF card shows up on you computer as if it were a hard drive. You simply copy them to you own hard drive. In the meantime your camera can be in use or simply saving power. (Note: The Jumpshot Cable does come with some software so it will work on your computer-PC or Mac.)

(Note: the jumpshoot cable only works with USB enabled CF cards. I like the feature so much, I simply don't use my older cards that aren't usb enabled)

In addition, Lexar is know among pro photographers as one of the better quality manufacturer's. Great Quality and a Great Product.

    Works great
I have a Lexar CompactFlash with the JumpShot cable and it works fantastic. Not once has it caused me any problems. Truly Plug-n-Play. I have an 8x card - and transfers are quite fast.

One of the other reviewers mentioned that the JumpShot cable would not work with any other card. This is not entirely true. The cable will work only with USB Enabled CompactFlash cards. Not all cards are USB enabled. Watch for "USB Enabled" and you'll be OK. In my humble opinion, the JumpShot cable is fast, easy to use, and takes up little space.

    Brilliant display
I bought this display for my main gaming machine and I am very happy with it. The display is bright, sharp and fast. It has a 16ms response time, which is great for gaming/video. I have never seen any ghosting with this monitor and I've tried all the latest games, including FarCry and UT2004. The display includes DVI input and a cable, which a lot of other LCDs don't bother. One nice feature is there no power brick for the monitor. The brick is built into the monitor, so it uses a simple electric cable and plug. Another good feature is the usb ports. There are 2 usb ports on the back of the monitor. The placement is a little inconvenient. It probably would be better to have them on the side. You can never have too many usb ports, so this is a small issue. My monitor arrived with no dead pixels.

One thing, $900 is far too much for this monitor. $500-$550 is much more reasonable.

After buying and returning 3 Sony displays, this is the best
I thought that investing in a pricey Sony lcd monitor (17 inch "HX" model for over $650.00) would guarantee quality and excellent performance. The first Sony HX totally sucked because the text was at time illegible, and the "moire" effect (the constant ripples scrolling diagonally on the screen) was so very distracting. I thought it was defective and exchanged it for another one. The second one had three burnt pixels, and I returned that one thinking the entire shipment to that store was bad. So I went to Circuit City and bought another one, only to discover that the moire effect was even worse than the first one. After returning that to Circuit City (with a 15% restocking fee - OUCH!) I carefully researched for another brand. I found LG and decided to take a risk. Boy, did that risk pay off! Now, sure it doesn't have all the gee whiz features like the Sony, but who really care about that when the display quality itself is the most important thing? Right out of the box, this monitor rocked! Setup was very easy, and even let's you fine tune the colors to your preference. The display is bright, text is sharp and clear, and the colors are soooo vibrant. I cannot recommend this monitor enough, and I will never ever buy another Sony again.

Good, but don't mistake it for a fully gigabit switch
This type of switch certainly has its place, but make sure you realize that this switch only has one gigabit port. The rest are 10/100 ports.

This is good for connecting a bunch of 10/100 computers to a 1000 network. However, if your computers has a gigabit card, you'll want a switch with all gigabit ports to get the full speed.

      Excellent Product, worth the money.
Some of the features of this product are:
      - Internal built in 256KB SRAM for buffer Memory
      - Up to 4096 MAC Addresses table/hashing algorithm for address learning
      - Supports store and forward architecture and performs forward and filtering at non-block full wire speed
      - Provides 3 leds per port to indicate the packets traffic pattern and link status
      - Signal regeneration ensures data transfer integrity
      - Each 10/100 port automatically detects and negotiates up to 100Mbps
      - Can integrate your existing 10/100 network with this switch making a server backbone connection

My workplace has set up this switch and using the switch is amazing (fast)!!

Make sure that you have a Gigabit Ethernet card to make full use of this switch.

Wireless to Go in a Snap!
When it was time to go wireless, this was the card I bought for one main reason, it is compatible with both A and B systems. At the time of purchase (some time in late 2002) B was the dominant and widely avaialble protocol. However, A was on it's way out with the promise of a much higher transfer speed and frequency.

The bonus of a higher speed is obvious...more data, less time. The bonus of a higher frequency is less obvious. B systems operate on a 2.4 GHz frequency while A systems work off of 5.4 GHz. The problem with B networks is that many other wireless devices, such as chordless phones, use this same frequency. This sometimes causes interference and therefore, can prevent the system from working. At this point in time, there are very few devices running at 5.4 GHz so there is a less crowded area.

Keep in mind that A and B systems are NOT compatible. That's what makes this card so great, it can use both. You do not need to carry around an A card and B card anymore. Just this one.

In terms of setup, it was a snap. Pre-install some drivers, restart your computer, insert the card and everything is good to go. This was the install process for Windows XP which is the simplest one, but flawless none the less.

Please note that another standard is also available. The G system is supposed to be compatible with B systems and capable of transferring data at the same speed as A systems. However, they are also operating on 2.4 GHz so the same interference problems exist.

This is all information that you as a buyer have to take into consideration. Figure out which protocol works best for you, and get a compatible card.

      Works like a charm
I bought this card to replace a Netgear 802.11B card (which also works well, but only in B mode). Software loaded easily, card seems to work well, has better sensitivity (able to pick up distant APs) than the Netgear card.
