Great LCT TV. Best I have seen!
TOTALLY AMAZED BY THIS TVIt fits perfectly under my cabinets in my kitchen. The remote looks basic, but has more one-touch features on it than I'll ever need. The menu is easy to follow, it even has a "plug-n-play" setup.
The casing looks sharp, the connections in the back are great and the sound is excellent. It allows you to automatically adjust the sound if you watch a lot of news channels vs. regular tv. I'm real impressed with the quality as this is my first Samsung product I've ever owned.
I look to combine this with a dvd-vcr combo unit and HDTV cable for ultimate viewing. But right now, I'm totally pleased with the reception coming from regular cable.
I'm also looking to see if I can use the TV's speakers as output from my MP3 player since it has multiple inputs in the back...something to discover later.

Samsung does a nice job on this one.The Picture is bright, clear, and the images really come to life.
The menu for adjusting your screen options such as brightness, contrast, postion, size, etc... is very well laid out and easy to use. It also has a feature that uses 3 pre-set modes for viewing text, internet & DVD's or games. Those settings really do a nice job of adjusting the display for the appropriate task you are doing.
One more note: The styling of the monitor itself looks really cool, but the plastic smells kinda funny at firs... hehe
I've owned this monitor now for about 4 months, and it has done everything a good monitor SHOULD do. I haven't had any problems whatsoever with it.
The bottom line is:
It's VERY reliable, VERY nice quality, BRIGHT & clear display and OK resolutions.
If you're looking for a great quality flat screen 17" monitor for gaming or multimedia use, look no further!

Great
The last roll of film I'll need! With a 48 MB card I can take the equivalent of two rolls of standard film photos on my Epson PhotoPC 850Z digicam. Over the life of the card (which is supposed to be good for something like 10 million photos!) I think this card will pay for itself in very short order.
As I post most of my digital photos on Internet albums or print them out on my inkjet (also an Epson) I rarely go to my local photo developer anymore.
I will probably add a larger SanDisk card at some point after I upgrade to my next digicam.

Fast and reliable (so far...)The metal contruction and retractable design make it one of the more physically robust USB flash drives around. I've used it regularly for a couple months under Linux 2.4 and 2.6, Mac OS X, and a variety of Windows versions without any trouble. It comes with a five year manufacturer warranty.
If you're looking for a top-of-the-line flash drive, this might be for you. Do remember that like most consumer electronics, the next generation of flash drives will probably be out in 6-9 months and will no doubt make this one look slow. However, until capacities go up significantly, more speed isn't really necessary since 512MB can be filled in less than a minute at 12MB/s...
BLAZING fast!

This is so versatile and compact and easy!!!
What a handy gadget! It comes with a carrying case and a short (about 3 inches) USB extension cord, which comes in handy if you need to plug it into a port where there isn't room for the body of the drive. The carrying case also has a mesh external pocket, I assume for spare SD cards since it's too small for anything else. The kit also includes an installation CD but I've never had to use it. I just plugged it into my laptop or desktop USB port (1.1 or 2.0) and the Win XP Pro recognized it immediately by name. I plan to try it on my Mom's Mac (OS 9.x) next.
It is a very handy way to carry around files. It's not as small as the newer drives, but the upgradeability is a nice feature. The SD card will also fit in my PDA, although I don't know yet if it will need to be reformatted for use in the PDA. I'm hoping it doesn't, in which case I might be able to use it to transfer files from my PDA to other computers without needing the HotSync cradle.
The black thumb button on the case slides both ways. If you slide it toward the end with the SD slot it ejects the SD card. If you slide it toward the other end instead, it pushes out the USB jack. When the button is in the middle, both the SD card and the USB jack are inside the case making a very smooth package.
The whole thing is very light, yet feels sturdy. I'm pretty happy with it - I have what I need for the moment, and saved enough money that I can buy another SD card to add memory later if I like.
The only drawbacks are the width of the body (about 3x the width of the USB jack) and the slower 1.1 USB transfer rate. But for the price I paid, I'm very happy with it as it is.

CRUZER MINI IS A WINNER
Perfect for my needs & great valueThis drive, however, is backwards compatible with the older USB 1.1 interface, and a Windows 98 SE driver is available for download from the manufacturer's site.
Download and installation of the new driver went perfectly. It was literally done in a few mouse clicks. I plugged the drive into each machine and it was immediately recognized by both my Sony and IBM laptops. I also tried this on a Windows 2000 system and it was immediately recognized and assigned as a disk drive without drivers.
Not only does this device work as advertised with no problems, but it also leaves room for a second USB device on laptops that have adjacent ports (my Sony is configured like this). My old flash drive required me to use an USB extension cable in order to have room to plug in my mouse, so the form factor is yet another feature I like about this particular model.
One final feaure I very much like - you can encrypt files on this device, and since I am using it as an email file system the privacy and protection this affords me is important.
Highly recommended if you want a high-capacity flash drive that will work on older Windows 98 SE systems, or just a reliable and easy-to-install flash drive for any system. It will not work on Windows 95 and below systems (none of the flash drives of which I am aware will).

- High storage capacity
- Non-volatile, solid-state memory--no moving parts and data is not lost when power is turned off
- Operating shock rating of 2,000Gs, equivalent to a 10-foot drop to the floor
- Unfazed by drastic weather conditions ranging from blistering heat to freezing cold
- Compatible with all digital music players, digital camcorders, handheld PCs, mobile phones, and other devices with a MultiMediaCard slot

Great ValueThe OSD (On Screen Display) controls could be a little better, but they weren't *hard* to use and you only really use them once when you plug the monitor in anyway.
I haven't tried the speakers out yet, but I already have a $50 set of speakers (w/ subwoofer) anyhow so I don't really see the point in in-monitor speakers.
This monitor is a great value, and it's logo is a water monitor (Varanus salvator). How could you go wrong?!?
A Great Choice
