The Best Little TVThis tv sits on a table at the end of my bed, I have accidently kicked it off twice in my sleep, and the tv works and looks as if that never happen. So my guess is that it is a very well built tv. This tv everything you would expect a great little tv to be. Just to add, the speakers on the side don't go from the top to the bottum of the tv, it looks like they do, but they don't, it's just the design. The real speakers are on both sides, they are about 3 inches long.

Toshiba TLP-ET1It has excellent features and is very easy to use.
For the previous reviewer; I've been quoted $400(cnd) or a new bulb from my dealer so it should be $300(us) or less.
Great Image and easy to useI use a nice 5-foot "da-lite" screen to get a 16:9 image with the projector only about 6 feet away. Picture quality seems to be very good to me, much better than computer-centric projectors I tried in the past. The menus and setup are very easy to understand, and the little remote has dedicated buttons for the most used functions like picture size.
Drawbacks with a projector are you need a dark room, about 5 minutes setup time if you are not permantly installing it, and a new set of 4-meter long video cables; but that outweighs the benefits in my case of living in a small apartment and putting it all out of site in 5 minutes when I am not using it.
So far I have used it with my progressive scan DVD player, and my Xbox system, all using component cables and really enjoying the picture quality.
One comment is that since this model is so new - even Toshiba themselves do not know how much the replacement lamp (2000 hours) will cost. I see other lamps on their website for $500 so I wonder how much it will be for this.....
But in summary, for my situation it does exactly what I wanted it to do, and the price was right.

Best So FarIt will only support your system for a couple minutes, but just being saved from those 1-second outages is worth it. I have my 19" monitor, my computer and a USB cablemodem plugged into it and it saves both my computer and my internet connection from power failures.
This is a great investment, even if you live somewhere where the power is normally stable.
ExcellentIn the two months that I've owned the unit, I've had about a half a dozen of these "mini-failures". Each time, the Tripp-Lite has performed flawlessly, filling the gap in power so that my PC never even knows that anything has happened. I've also had one more serious power outage that lasted several minutes. The Internet 350 gave me more than enough time to save my data, shut down the applications I was running and power down my PC, 17" Monitor and Cable Modem in an orderly fashion.
The unit has a total of 6 AC outlets - 3 for surge protection only and 3 for surge protection and power backup. One of each set of 3 outlets is spaced to accomodate a transformer block without interfering with the other outlets. There are also telephone jacks so that you can surge protect your telephone modem line. LEDs give you the unit's status and it beeps when you're on battery backup.
I'm completely satisfied with my Tripp-Lite Internet 350 UPS and can recommend it without hesitation.

Works as advertised. Two things to consider:
This is a single user brush. Even though it comes with extra brush heads, the manual warns against its constant removal and replacement so as not to weaken the fitting. (I change the brush head every month.) So, each member of the family will need to have his or her own SC500U.
The vibration is VERY powerful. One must develop a precise technique of navigating the brush within the mouth without having plastic part of the brush head or stem contacting the teeth. You'll see what I mean the first time you hit a tooth - it'll rattle your skull. I have since become well practiced in moving the handle so only the bristles touch my teeth.
I no longer use dental floss as this flosser is great, although the tufts are difficult to insert between the teeth. The bristles bend and scrunch up easily. I wish Salton would come up with monofilament versions in various thicknesses. A rubber gum massage tip might be nice, too.
Great toothbrush
The sound this little yellow box puts out is a-mazing.
