For several years now I've enjoyed the use of these speakers, especially the VCS-10 center channel speaker which works wonderfully in conjunction with the receiver's settings to bring voices out and I've used the Model 100's as the front B speakers just to bring in some additional sound. The advertising here suggests using the Model 100's as rear/surround speakers, either way, these speakers are very good speakers and will work very well in whatever capacity you place them.

I've recently replaced all of the speakers on my primary system with the Bose Acoustimass 10 Series III Home Theater Speaker System and have moved these speakers to the secondary system in conjunction with a pair of Model 301 Series III speakers and another pair of Model 100's as the rear/surround speakers and have found this to be an enjoyable combination for this system.

All three of these speakers are magnetically shielded so you can go right ahead and put that VCS-10 right on top of your television set and it won't affect it any way. The Model 100's can be placed anywhere you desire to put them and Bose also manufactures wall/ceiling mounts for them which are very affordable and simple to install.

The VCS-10 Center Channel Speaker can also be purchased independently and is a highly recommended item for those, like myself, whose hearing just isn't what it used to be. This model definitely brings those voices out during those "low" moments in movies.

Overall, I'd highly recommend the VCS-30 II Home Theater Surround Set as it is an affordable solution to a desire for a quality set of surround sound speakers and serves as just another testament to the long history Bose and the quality that goes with that name! {ssintrepid}

First of I would like to say hat thse speakers are extremely good. These speakers came with my computer and they werent that hard to hook up. Actually they were relatively easy to hook up. It took me about 3 minutes to hook them up. They have very good bass, and can playvery good mids. The only thing is thy cant play highsat all. They get didstorted alt. Actually i blew my fort pair up and had to buy another, but other than that thy really good.

I found this product as a very convinient way of measuring blood pressure and pulse rate. It was easy to wear on the wrist and get the above information in less than half a minute. The wrist band gets automatically inflated to an appropriate level. One can even use it while on a treadmill.

This is, without a doubt, the best 17" PowerBook G4 case ever. Not only can it carry my G4, it can also carry my Tapwave Zodiac, and most of my school stuff. It's comfortable to wear and convenient. If you need a case for a 17" PowerBook, this is it.

This unit replaced my HP 5P laser printer and an older, much larger Sharp copier which had seen it's better days. Both of these laser functions greatly surpass my older pieces of equipment.

The scanner also works great although it did take a little practice to figure it out since I had never used one before.

I opted not to get the model with the fax since that feature doesn't seem necessary...one can scan in a document or photo and e-mail it.

After agonizing over different models and visiting the various office stores in town I'm glad I settled on this machine. It seems like a much better unit than most of the multi-function machines that include a fax and thus skimp on the copy, print, and scan functions.

Basically if you need a good scanner you probably still want to buy one. Although, if you spend less than $100 on a non CCD scanner you probably won't get anything better.

I took a stack of documents to local stores and tried probably 10 different laser copier/printer/scanner machines made by HP, Canon, Sharp, Xerox, Samsung, etc. HP's and Canon's were a little better in photo print quality, but Canon only has 2MB of non-expandable printer memory (even though up to 8MB can be used for copying). HP copied at a rate of about 2-3 pages per minute (no joke!) unless you wanted to rip off 20 copies of a single page.

Brother had the most solid machine and it actually even copies different sheets pretty close to the rate claimed. HP's had broken paper trays at most stores and Canon's seamed to always have paper jams. Samsung's were similar to Brother but they looked old and the toners were all used up at all but one of the places I went to.

I don't have anything bad to say about my Brother other than the scanner isn't great for making scans of photos. The scanner is lightning fast though for OCR type grayscale scanning.

This machine is a work horse. We have purchased two of these for our large office and find these machines to be one of the better deals out there. One big plus is that we can use up all the extra toner cartridges from our old HP 4050's, both machines use the same catridge! Other than that, we are sticking with the brother line because of speed and price. Finally someone is comeing out with bettter machines for less $$. The one year express exchange waranty is makes this a no brainer.

I have had laserprinters since 1990. Recently I was on the market to buy a new one and I found the Brother 5150D. What a great printer. 21 PPM, 250-page paper tray, double-side printing, PCL6 and Postscript 3, USB 2.0 for US$ 280? The quality of printing is very good. Recommended.

I had a little fun abuseing our lamination machine at school, and I was forced to buy a new one with my own money. The school store told me they could oreder one for more than 50 dollars, and there was no way that I had that much money. Luckaly, Thoughm, I found this one. It was cheep, worked well, and was compatible with the machines at my school.

This is the perfect add on to round out the solid 1650 printer. It makes printing on multiple stocks of paper a breeze and works flawlessly with the printer. This is my first Brother printer after being a dedicated HP person for years. But in terms of value, quality, design, operation and reliabilty I am a true Brother convert. For some reason every time HP comes up with a good machine they discontinue it just when I need a new printer with its features. Then a friend recommended trying a Brother and I reluctantly did so to find out the Brother blows away the competition in ease of use, great practical design, and much more printer for your money. No, I don't work for Brother. This is just a great printer for the office (or Home office)- and the second tray is a must to derive the full benefits of this machine.
