My wife and I rely on two way radios to contact each other prior to our ride home from work everyday. These units are suppose to have a five mile range. They don't have a three block range. The other audiovox walkies (which stopped working after almost three years) had double the range (and were rated @ two miles). Also the power on/off button is also a channel scanner. With the leather carring case on, the power off button if not pressed hard enough starts to scan the channels instead of turning off the unit. Very annoying. The manufacture didn't do their homework in designing these. I thought new generation walkies would continue to improve, not get worse. I'm taking these back to the store. Anyone knowing a better unit out there with a charging base, please recommend it.

I bought this and the product was defective. I tried returing it but the place that I bought it wouldn't take it back. The customer support for this product told me that on the phone that they could only answer my questions by email, and the tech support on email told me that they could only help by the phone. I'm still stuck with the product. dont buy it.

I don't normally write reviews unless pleased or disappointed. In this case - disappointment. We ordered 2 sticks and tested on 5 machines. In each case it showed up as 128 meg.

This product (both sticks) are defective so we returned to Amazon. I would suggest using a name brand

Projection has to be turned on manually by hitting the snooze button and only stays on for 8 seconds. I thought the point of having projection was to not have to find the clock in the dark. An adapter can be bought at an additional fee plus shipping, which is not indicated when purchasing. Projection is very small and difficult to read. I'm returning mine.

This product reminds me of when I over-wiped and got a little on me. Or the time I decided to hook up a helmet-piercing iodine IV just because it was available. Or the time I decided to probe a scrotal wound with a lit sparkler. In retrospect, I wish I hadn't done it.
