It's been several years since I owned a drawing tablet and I must say that I am extremely impressed by this tablet. The pressure sensitivity is increadible (I used Photoshop, I don't know about other graphics programs). I love being able to flip the pen over and erase. The accuracy is very good with the pen and mouse. The mouse feels a little weird in my hand, not quite ergonomic for me. But since it's USB my old mouse works simultaneously. The top of the tablet also has shortcuts which can be reprogrammed, but the reprogramming is totally lost in the fact that you have to remember what number does what function. The on-screen display of these shortcuts is just a number even though it lets you name the function. The no-battery technology is great. I never have to replace batteries or worry about it. Installation was very easy. I just plugged the tablet in and it immediately started working even before I installed the drivers.

In summary, this is a great tablet for any graphic artist.

I love this tablet. I have used the graphire 4x5, but found the surface too small for most graphic purposes. This tablet has a large surface 6x8. Very stylish and easy to get used to. The mouse is slightly larger than a standard mouse. I find it to be comfortable and smooth. The best part is the ability to switch between the pen, with a comfort grip, and the mouse. Anyone with hand strain will appreciate it. The tablet is easy to install and works well with most software.

The Yamaha DGX505 has great sounds and features. It is very similar to the DGX305 however the DGX505 has the additional look and sound of an acoustic piano: 88 piano-style keys, a wooden stand and side panels, sustain pedal and high-resolution piano sample. I don't think you will be disappointed.

We got this keyboard just before Christmas 2003. Due to the pace of daily life, I haven't gotten too deeply into it. But since it has been several months and no one else has reviewed it, I'll start the ball rolling. The reason why I purchased THIS keyboard because it has a touch sensitive (velocity) and lighted keyboard. The only other model that fit this description was the Casio LK-55. I just thought the Yamaha sounded a bit better and was made a bit better. It is also more expensive. The sounds are quite good. There is an XG lite implementation as well as the standard General Midi soundset. The lighted keys make it easy to learn.

I have been too busy to hook it up to my computer yet to try out the downloading of General Midi sequences, but I am looking forward to it. The supplied USB cable is too short unless your keyboard is right up against your computer.

I was disappointed to find out that the only MIDI implementation is through a USB interface. There are no midi in and out jacks, so I couldn't hook this up directly to my other MIDI keyboard.

I'd love for Yamaha to come out with a version that had regular Midi jacks, pitch and mod wheels and an audio input (with reverb) for sing alongs. I'd pay double the price for those additions. For what you pay, I'd say you get your money's worth and then some.

As a beginner wanting to learn how to play the piano, the Yamaha EZ20AD Portable Keyboard had everything I could ask for. With lessons and Guide Lamps. The follow-along illuminated keys facilitated learning, and the Education Suite 3 provided virtual lessons using 100 built-in songs. I was able to start playing the first time I tried. I would highly recommend this product for anyone, whether you are a novice or an expert.

Great digital keyboard for beginners or teachers. Weighted keys add a realistic feel and provide finger strengthening. Full sized, with 88 keys, from low A to high C. Control Panel allows adjustment of volume, metronome, demos, record & playback, voice/variation, effects and reverb. Keyboard can connected directly to MAC or IBM/PC compatible computers via the MIDI IN/OUT connectors and a MIDI interface...

This is an excellent AC adaptor for use with most Yamaha PSR series keyboards. Note that it does work with many of the older models (I bought one for my Yamaha PSR-320), so check on the comprehensive Yamaha site (www.yamaha.com) if this is the right adaptor for you. It has a long cable, making it easy to use from any outlet. Sturdy and reliable. Don't go for some cheap generic adaptor, you'll end up paying for it later.

I researched keyboards for over a month before purchasing the Yamaha PSR-550. Needless to say, it is more than anything I learned while researching keyboards, and much more than I ever had hoped for! It has more capabilities than the above-average person could ever use. The price is well below that of what it should be, considering all that the keyboard can create. The only limits it has are those of the musician using it. I have connected it to my computer, and it performs perfectly. I recommend purchasing XGworks software to go along with the keyboard as well. The keyboard is fairly easy to learn (take your time, there are a gazillion combinations of controls and capabilities), very easy to set up, and time consuming to walk away from (it is so much fun to use that you loose track of time). Two words.....BUY IT!

I received this as a gift, and I love it!

The keyboard performs flawlessly although I am having a problem interfacing with my computer. I believe this is a software problem with my computer and no fault of the keyboard. I would recommend this keyboard.
