Good SetLike most HDTV's these days the remote is loaded with buttons your will never use. I plan to get a simple one to turn it on and off and to adjust the volume. This set is perfect for a small space and has good visibility up to about 10 ft. After that the screen is small.
I can recommmend this as a great starter set for someone who wants to try the technology but not spend a great deal of money, or someone who wants a great set for a small space.

Great product, scary warranty pricingI am having buyer's remorse, though. I spoke this morning with Philips to ask the cost of their extended warranty. I was quoted a price of almost $220 a year! As no one really knows how long an LCD TV will actually last, an extended warranty seems like an essential part of the purchase decision, and Philips has just set me back on my heels. I may return the set to the store I purchased it from (Bose) if they can't find a way to get the extended warranty cost down for me.

Fantastic!

This monitor RocksAs a side note, I had problems with an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB that would only push this monitor to 1600x1200 through the DVI port. However this was a problem with the video card, because other video cards I had would drive this monitor to 1600x1200 through the VGA port.

Excellent - BUT you better have a good graphics card.I also see no pixel fusion for this monitor. Since i am an avid gamer, this monitor gets my "2 Thumbs Up". However, i use an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro w/ 256 MB DDR (using the DVI adapter). Not sure how this monitor would perform with a lower end graphics card.
