Text looks fine to me using 256 colors and 800 x 600 resolution. Colors appear bright. No flicker at 85 Hz. Windows 2000 found the monitor so I didn't have to use the install disk. Good on-screen controls. My main concern was durability and since my old Viewsonic monitor is still going strong after four hard years I chose another Viewsonic.

I've had this monitor for over a year now, and so far I've had no gliches. It works great, and it has a very nice sharp image on a vertually flat screen. The best thing is the good price attached to it. Great buy!

Excellent monitor, especially for the price...Crisp colors on a flat panel display...Easy setup and installation...

The 180Hz refresh rate is great for this monitor... I play games often and nothing bothers my eyes more than a low refresh rate.

My husband bought me this for my birthday present and I LOVE IT!!! I upgraded from a 15" monitor and the size of this screen is so nice! I didnt think I could get a monitor this big to fit into my desk space, but with the narrow depth it worked out so well! I never knew how bad the graphics looked on my old monitor until I got this one, the picture is beautiful!!!! I cant tell you enough how wonderful the clarity and crispness of the pictures are!

I went to every electronics store in the area, and not one had a 21" monitor on display. I had to buy one based solely on reviews on the internet. I settled on the PF815. Spending this much money without seeing the product first had me real nervous, but what a surprise! It surpassed all my expectations. The screen is as flat as they advertise. In fact, it makes my other monitor (a 17" Dell Trinitron) look curved in comparison. The images are crisp and the colors are vibrant. The monitor takes up less desk space than I anticipted. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I've had this monitor for about a week now, and I have no grievances whatsoever.
No missing pixels, crystal clear quality, and it has a great response time.
I'm glad I ditched the behemoth CRT monitor I was using before. The design is nice, it's very small,
and it looks great! A fantastic choice.

I actually won the ViewSonic VG150 LCD Monitor about a month ago, and after using it, I would highly recomend it to anyone considering getting such a Monitor.
The picture quality is "Excellent", very user friendly when it comes to setting the Brightness, Color,Contrast etc. to a persons particular likings. The size is a big Plus also, being only 4 1/2 deep, and only weighing 11.1 lbs.
I also have so much extra space on my desk as well.
As stated above, I would "HIGHLY" recomend the "ViewSonic XG 150 LCD Monitor to everyone reading this review.

Recently recieving this Monitor as a gift, and doing quite a bit of research on LCD Flat Panel Monitors, I have found that this is the one that tops them all.
Picking my own gift, I did extensive comparing of quality and features. Although there are many monitors out there, that are in the same price range, this Viewsonic VE150 monitor offers the most for the money. The resolution and the dot pitch cannot, in my opinion be beat. The ease of setup and operation is perfect for those that are home users. The brilliant vivid colors,antiglare screen, and space saving design are all a part of this great find. I would recommend this product for purchase to anyone, who may be looking for that perfect upgrade to their existing system....you just cannot beat the features or the price.

I got this monitor for my office and it is amazing. I used to use a 14 inch screen that my laptop had with it and I have to say, this is an immense improvement. The resolution it handles (1280x1024) is much better than the one my laptop displayed (1024x768).

The colors are bright and sharp and the styling of this monitor is great. Real slim frame and it looks very high tech.

Highly reccomend this item - especially for the price - it is a good buy.
