Great Viewing Quality/Warning If MountingI also purchased a Kensington Flat Panel DeskMount Arm #60601 ([Amazon.com]). The two go together very well but be forewarned! When the Samsung monitor is folded up for mounting, the monitor housing cannot be used for positioning. This could very easily damage the monitor. You must reach around the housing and grab the base. This is very ackward and difficult. The VESA mounting of this monitor seems to be an afterthought and not thought out very carefully. Also neither the screws provided with the monitor or the arm are long enough. You will need to purchase longer 4mm screws. This is because the mounting plate provided by Samsung does not provide a flush surface for mounting to the arm's adapter. This was also true with the Inland u-Mount LCD Monitor Arm 200 that I originally purchased for this use. (This Inland unit was pure junk and I took it back before ordering this unit by Kensington.) Be prepared to do some fine tuning on the arm unit, being that it uses friction for most of its positioning surfaces. It's hard to find an adjustment that is not too tight or too loose.

Great visual quality!First, let me say that I had not been a Sony fan. That's because I had always thought their product is overpriced for the quality you get. But that has changed.
When I was comparing TVs, there were several TVs of the same size and price sitting next to each other. I compared the visual quality and the Sony just blows the others away. Next to HDTV, this Sony has the best quality.
The flat screen does what is advertised. Cuts out glare and better viewing experience.
The casing is another plus. I was thinking of getting one of those black casing TV but the silver casing looks so futuristic, stylish. I also like the buttons being on the top of the TV, even thou (with remote control) I'd only use it once in a month...
One thing that I don't like is the PIP channel surfing. It seems slow and freezes for a split second. Somewhat annoying. Also happens when you swap the PIP to the main screen. I guess that's why it's not a 5-star.
Overall, great set!

Great image and full control...You just get mad at the two thin copper wires dividing the screen in 3 stripes. According to SONY, it is part of the Trinitron technology and must be there. Well, I can tell I no longer "see" these lines... :-)
The monitor is a little deep, but I have enough space on my desktop. So, I'd recomment anyone who buys a VAIO computer to go for it. The LCD prices are still relatively high and the nanotube monitors are promising to hit the market late this year, lowering a lot the street price for flat pannel monitors.
Oh, of course, the design is very nice! You'll love it!!!
