I've just received my third defective monitor from Viewsonic. The first monitor suffered from uncorrectable vertical distoration, bent vertical grid wires, and uneven brightness. The second monitored started failing after four months of use. The new monitor has uneven brightness where half the monitor is darker than the other half. Viewsonic has lost me as a customer. The shipping cost to return them is starting to add up.

Bought the monitor in January, good brightness, color and clarity. Faded to black in June - returned for repair....

I noticed the blurriness early on too, but a bit of tweeking and everything became clear and easy to read.

The ultrabrite mode is incredible and highly recommended for anyone who plays computer games. Double contrast and brightness makes day scenes very realistic, and you no longer have to stumble around in the dark at night or in caverns.

I found it comfortable to set the resolution at 1600x1200 at 85hz.

Also, this monitor is very cheap now, at only [item price]. For 19 inch and 2048x1536, this is the best deal I could find.

This phone won a lot of design awards, which is great if you are buying it to look at but if you need a good phone this is not it. It started doing funky stuff right from day one. The ringer gets "stuck" on on the handsets and can't be stopped without removing the batteries (not an easy task as they are really hard to open). For service you have an email address and an 800 number. I tried both 3 times and got NO RESPONSE!. I would not recommend this phone to anyone. Thankfully Amazon stands behind what they sell and took it back.

Good:
Most phone functions work as indicated.

Bad:
- Speaker-phone function is not very clear, callers frequently tell me they have a hard time hearing me speak clearly. Volume for the speaker, although a slide type has one setting, LOUD.
- When hanging up the phone, one must be careful to get the charging lights in the lighted position. This is frustrating, and the first phone I have owned that did not self cradle for charging. Sometimes requires two or three times & holding your mouth right to get it to the correct position.
- The point made by an earlier reviewer about the hand set going into a continuous ring is true. This can be caused by a caller who calls and then hangs up before the hand set is lifted. You have to take the ringing hand set off of the cradle and hit the OFF button, and or remove the battery as stated to get the ringing to stop. I have returned from extended trips to find the phone ringing in a continuous ring.
- Batteries are not standard and must be ordered from AstraLink/ClipFone, although not very expensive($10.00) + $5.00 S/H, not being able to go to Radio Shack to get them is a joke!
- My wife and I have home offices, I thought this would do the trick for communication between she and I, however, she refuses to use this phone, she just hates it!

This is the best phone I have. The only complaint I have is I cant find the extra "Phone Stations" anywhere.

This adapter does not work with a Nokia 3650 cell phone! I purchased this because it was the cheapest USB/Bluetooth adapter and from what I had read they pretty much all worked the same. What a mistake. After doing a little research, I've found other postings on the web of others who have had similar problems trying to get this to work with their phones.

Unfortunately, I got the adapter a few days before the phone and I've already thrown away the box. Oh well, $25 down the drain...

I purchased this item so I could HotSync my Palm Tungsten T3 from my couch which is 15 feet from my computer. According to this product's specs, that should have been well within its operating range. I was very disappointed to find that it only worked within a 10 foot range. I have tried contacting IOGear via email, but they have not responded to my query for help.

I had no problem installing this on on XP machine. It doesn't work with Win 2003 server yet, but tech support said they are working on drivers and will be available soon.

Iogear's customer support is good, I emailed them and received a response same day.

Works great with my Sony Ericsson T-610.

Noting the weights of "flat-panel" vs standard monitors with "flat-screens", you will notice the ave weight of a flat panel is 12 to 16 pounds...standard monitors with flat screens ave weight is 40 to 65 pounds.
This monitor's weight is a dead give-away to being a STANDARD MONITOR with a flat screen weighing in at 50 pounds.
Buyer beware! and be AWARE!

This product as listed is a misrepresentation and shouldn't be listed among the LCD monitors. It gives the impression that this is a quality low-cost version of the LCD monitors, needless to say, mine is being returned.

This is an excellent all around flat panel monitor. I use one at work and was so pleased that I purchased one recently for my home. This is not an LCD, it is a high-end flat panel CRT.

Advice to some: Read before you buy. LG does not advertise this as a LCD. Nor is it a new product. My company has used them for over one year. I hope this helps for future on-line purchses.

The only good things about this monitor are the price and the look. It is very sleek looking at super light. But that's where the benefits end. It is dim even when adjusting brightness (at a certain brightness, it noticably flickers). Very unimpressive display. Not worth it. Go with Cornea or Princeton

Cheap price, Cheap quality, and Cheap service.
I bought this monitor from a local chain store for its low price and rebate. The first one has a problem of violent image shaking during computer startup. The second one is sharp on the left half, and blurry on the right half screen, which I did not noticed until I ran a screen test pattern. The third one is good so far. Forget the rebate -- you will never get it.

This product is totally acceptable for the price. ...I do not have a TV at home. I bought a TV card and use my computer to watch TV. It looks really good, feels like having a flat screen TV at home.

The bad thing about this monitor is it does not display dark screens correctly. Sometimes I can't see a things at all if the TV show is dark.

In addition, once in a while I will have to unplug the power to get the monitor "recycled". Otherwise, it'd display some garbage on screen.

Besides that two bad points, this monitor is great and totally acceptable. I am quite happy with it.

We get no radio control signal with this clock anywhere in our home. Get the Equity 86709 SkyScan Atomic Wall Clock instead. We have several of them, and all receive the signal just fine.

This is a beautiful, high-tech looking clock with all of the information I want. The jumbo display in nice so I can read it from accross my office. The only problem I had was the clock wouldn't receive the radio controlled time. I tried at the office and at home, both inside and outside, but nothing. I live in suburban Detroit, and I have no problems with radio reception whether AM or FM. This clock was close to want I wanted, but without the atomic time feature, I'm returning it and continuing to search.

The display is very clear with large characters, and the content is very useful (especially the temperature display).

Note that I was only able to get a synchronization radio signal if I put the clock near a window -- I couldn't receive the signal in the location I wanted to put the clock. So I first put the clock near a window for a few minutes to set it, and then moved it to the other location (not near a window, where it could not receive the signal). Interestingly enough, after a couple days at the new location, the clock somehow acquired the signal (you can tell, via the OK indication on the clock). So now everything is working great. I love it!

I paid over $300 for this monitor in 2003 and it worked great for the first 4 months. Then it started to flicker on and off and then completely stopped working. I fixed it myself to get it in working condition, but now the picture is all distorted. From what I hear, ViewSonic will not support this and you have to "buy" the schematics to even let a technician look at it. In my opinion, I could've spent my $300 on a different monitor instead of having to use my crappy backup 15" monitor.

We bought 3 of these monitors. Got the first one and love the screen. Very bright and clear. Less than a year later one screen is so badly blurred in the center it's unusable. Another is showing occasional distortions and sometimes it will spontaneously change the screen size. That second one can't be used in higher refresh modes and is barely running in non-interlaced mode. We are using top line equipment in our computers and don't over push it by keeping the horizontal scan rate well within specs at or under 80kHz.

For those who don't know, horizontal scan rate in kHz is the important spec when looking at a monitor. Vertical refresh rate is bogus. All decent monitors will vertical refresh up to 85Hz at minimum. But only good monitors will horizontally scan at 80kHz and above. The horizontal scan determines the speed of response and the overall quality of the screen. So a monitor that will give you at least 80kHz horizontal scans is the only way to go. The faster it is capable of horizontal scans normally the better the monitor's performance.

Both our defective monitors show the horizontal scan as locked at 70kHz no matter what we set the vertical refresh rate at. A clear sign of a problem in the controller section of the monitor. The blurring on the first one is probably a defective gun.

ViewSonic has given us the royal run around and so we are now forced to shop and spend the money for new monitors. ViewSonics customer support and their warranty is worthless. We strongly suggest anyone purchasing a ViewSonic product do so locally from a reputable retailer who will offer their own warranty and normally will simply swap out the unit if they verify inhouse the problem is legitimate.

For those of us who still believe that CRT give superior image quality (Which is still true compared to LCDs), this Viewsonic monitor is great. The image is crisp and clear with little distortion, the color quality is unmatched, and its easy to set up. Also, the refresh rate is great. Given the fact that's pure flat, the image has no glare at all. I would say not buy it from Amazon.com though cause I bought mine 6 months ago for $225. After a $50 MIR, it was $175. Find this deal and this monitor is a perfect fit.

This is a rip off. It comes with no box and no instructions. It doesn't come with a wireless station to plug into my reciever and to make things worse i have no idea where to get one that these will work with. Very poor class from amazon.com and or circiut city.

These headphones are for Audiovox automobile videosystems (both overhead and mounted between front seats).
Audiovox is the only vendor I've found that actually offers additional wireless headphones for their automobile video systems.
The headphones themselves are excellent: good quality sound and wide range of IR reception. Very economic with the 2 tiny AAA batteries. Haven't been able to run through them in months of usage.

I had been using Fellowes WriteRight screen protectors for my iPAQ 3850, and I have gone back to using them after my experience with the Belkin protectors. I had switched to Belkin as they sounded like they might be gentler on my screen. However, I made several attempts to apply the Belkin protectors, but could not get them applied cleanly no matter how slowly and thoroughly I rubbed them on. Furthermore, they seemed just a shade narrower than the Fellowes protectors, which can lead to slight catches of the stylus as it passes over the far edges of the screen. They did come with a lint free cloth to clean the screen (something not provided by the Fellowes protectors), and that was nice, but that is really all they have to offer.

Bleh, these are AWFUL.

I ordered a pack and a pack of the HP screen protectors.

The Belkin's use a non permanent adhesive that no matter how much you smooth it, give your screen a gnarly look. While this holds well, it looks terrible.

The HP protectors have NO adhesive but are held in by tension on the edges. These produce no screen artifacts while looking great.

I'm telling you that these guys are just the right size. They fit the screen perfectly. They do not appear dark, but seem to reduce glare on the touch screen. They absorb the scratches and smudges that would normally scare the PDA screen. Included are instructions that are clear and easy to follow. I found using soft screen cleaning pad and the smoothie card helpful in applying the overlay properly. These overlays are a must buy if you care to preserve your Ipaq screen.

okay my friend recently purchased this item, and the picture is just awful compared to other lcd tv's out there that supports HD-Tv! the sound is acceptable but the view messes it up for the whole tv. i'm encouraging you not to buy this item, and instead buy the Samsung 20'' 1763 which is much better then this TV

I BOUGHT THE TV BECOUSE THE 5 STAR REVIEW, I WAS VERY LET DOWN WHEN I HOOKED THE TV UP FOR MY BEDROOM TV. FIRST THE REMOTE WAS VERY SMALL THE SIZE OF A CREDIT CARD, BUTTONS SMALL AND VERY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER. TV IS ABOUT 20 FEET FROM BED, REMOTE WOULD ONLY WORK ABOUT 6 FEET FROM TV, I TRIED TO BUY UNIVERSAL REMOTE TO SOLVE PROBLEM , TV DOSE NOT SUPPORT UNIVERSAL REMOTE CODES. PICTURE WAS VERY DARK EVEN WITH COLOR ADJUSTMENT ALL THE WAY UP. AFTER ALL THAT ONE SPEAKER DID NOT WORK. I HOPE IF YOU BUY THIS TV YOU HAVE BETTER LUCK THAN ME! I ENDED UP BUYING A 20 INCH VIZON VERY HAPPY, NO PROBLEMS

The screen quality is great, all the icons are sharp and the color is great.
The TV feature is nice becuase you can move the PIP window around in the screen and change the size. It comes with a nice litle remote. I love it becuase of the picture quality and the space it saved. I wanted something bigger than the 15" so it works great.
