    a let down..
I'm a bit disappointed. First, the document clip will only hold a single sheet of paper or a very light pamphlet. Even then, the document weight will occasionally pop off the clip attaching it to the screen. Second, the clip holding this product to my laptop screen is spring loaded plastic and very tight (yet not at all secure - a rubber or foam grip would've helped). I rarely use this product because I'm afraid this clip might damage the screen on my powerbook. Third, it is difficult to illuminate the document without washing out the screen.

      Save your money...
Although the colors are vivid the gemoetry is poor and text is slightly blurred at all resolutions. The monitor has an obvious sag or bow at the top of the screen. Horizontal text displays lower in the middle of the screen than on either side. Neither vertical grid lines of spreadsheets nor menus display truly vertically. I have tried for over one week to correct the flaw through the adjustments. Note that the HP p930 and Compaq P930 are branded versions of the same monitor (according to customer people).

      Not necessary.
I use the LSP5000 (see my review) without using the memory card functions. I feel that the card's functions should have been integrated into the unit itself and that as it stands now, these are just one more way for the company to milk its customers. The strips themselves are quite costly, so I am content to simply write the cholesterol results in a small notepad.

      It's good but...
I bought it and loved it. The resolution was great, it saved valuable desk space, it has a great look to it, the price was right, and it handled everything I threw at it.

But after only 8 days of having it there is a line across the screen about a quarter-way down. It won't go away. After only eight days! I hadn't heard of Microtek monitors before this one but I have to say that my first experience has turned out a poor one.

      Not for everyone
This monitor could be an excellent choice for the casual computer user in an office, but it is not the right choice if you work with graphics, or if you're particular about image quality.

On the plus side, this monitor is inexpensive, and the image is razor-sharp, edge-to-edge, and has good brightness.

On the minus side, the entire screen image size changes by as much as several millimeters when the screen brightness changes (like when opening or closing an application window), which will drive you nuts if you open and close windows frequently. This is probably due to insufficient power supply regulation. Also, the screen geometry on mine was not good, with the top-left part of the screen curving down, etc. There is also a slight, but noticeable, color variation across the screen horizontally. If you were viewing a web page with a white background, the left side of the screen would look slightly bluish, while the right side would look slightly yellowish.

I returned this monitor and purchased the NEC FE 750, which is a much better monitor in my opinion. My only (minor) complaint is that there is still a slight color variation across the screen; but it is barely perceptible, and not enough to make me return this monitor. All of the other problems associated with the FE 700 are not present in the 750.

      My View on Proview PRO735
This is an OK monitor with a really nice exterior look to it. It practically works right out of the box and responds well, with no glitches from its front panel controls, or with reboot. It will suffice if your not on the computer much, ~but for serious surfing, and detail work with; graphics, programming, or bookkeeping, its a pain in the eyes. . . and head! Whether its the glare or shimmering glimmer, you'll notice it soon after working with it. Adjusting the adapter settings to optimal doesn't make it any better, and trying to find this monitor on the Proview site, for more info, is a big woop!??
My recommendation is: if your upgrading for a better view, this is not what your looking for; but if you just use the computer as a general appliance, with no need to stare at it for long periods of time, then this will do in a pinch.

      Defect
I bought the Samsung SyncMaster 152B thinking I will have a flawless LCD monitor. I just spent a lot of money for graphics hardware for my computer. To my disappointment, this Samsung monitor has a pixel defect which Samsung would not cover under the warranty. Buyers of LCD monitors should be made aware of this unfair condition that there must be a certain number of dead pixels in your monitor even right out of the box for the companies to replace them.

I rate this monitor two stars. The monitor is too bright for me.

forget about customer service--there isn't any
I purchased two of these monitors about six months ago. One works fine. The other flickers occasionally and is not quite as bright as the one that works fine.

I don't know whether there is a problem or not.

I do know it has been impossible to get through on the phone to customer service. Furthermore, they do not seem to return phone calls in spite of their outgoing message which invites a message and indicates they will do so.

      It's an unnecessary aggravation.

      looks good, but not dependable.
Great monitor with a cool factor of mototrized fold-down. The problem is the fold-down motor is not durable in regular use. I have owned this monitor for just barely 2 years, and the motor is defective. At every bump on the road, the monitor would automatically close, which drove the kids...and me crazy!! I originally had this professionally installed, and now, the technicians stated that the motor is defective/broken. I am disappointed and really was expecting a much more reliable product from Sony.

        Gives a so-so picture
I bought this cable to interface a PC with an S-Video output to a VCR with a composite video input. I was really disappointed. The picture had bands of interference in it. I thought this might be due to the computer, so I tried using the cable to go from an S-Video output of a DVD player back to the the same VCR. The picture *was* better, but you could still see faint intereference bands, espeically if the picture was more white than black. I finally bought a shielded RCA cable to see if the RCA cable was picking up the interference; still no help.

It's not like this adapter doesn't work. But it doesn't work well.
