Disappointing PerformanceA big problem is that the screen flickers, sometimes with different colored hues. The defect makes the monitor hard to view. I'll have to send it back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

An ok base model LCDInitially I thought this had a better picture than the LG. It has excellent brightness and strong colours. However the backlighting is not constant, with an obvious dull patch covering much of the top 2cm of the screen. This is especially obvious on my Mac, as the tool bar is normally white, not gray. Another issue is the picture seems to be finely interlaced. This is only really obvious on blue background pictures and log-on screens.
For the money it isn't too bad, although I wouldn't buy another one.

Don't purchase because you can't get the NEVOThe big problem is that Viewsonic calls this a Home Wireless solution. If the NEVO doesn't come bundled with the airpanel then you can't get it seperate. I have tried endlessly to get this option. Don't purchase. Find another solution.
Confusing passwords between pc and unit; Not NEVO workable. The MAIN DISAPOINTMENT, tough, is the FALSE afirmation that it could run as Remote Control for all appliances in the house. Viewsonic and Nevo says that (Nevo even has some sites showing it) but NEITHER ONE of them gives you or sell you the IR adaptor anymore. So forget it. You can't use it as a Nevo Remote Control. I bought for that purpose, so that's why I'm giving bad review for this product. I'm having some fun with it, but I'm not in the MOOD to tell that.

NOTE: Will only work on monitors smaller than 17 inches.Sure wish I had seen this information on the Belkin site before I wasted my time and money.
Very Poor Quality - Ghosting ImagesVideo cables are very sensitive to RFI interference. Just look at the cable that came with your monitor; it's very thick (at least twice as thick as this Belkin model)) and it has one or two ferrite clamps (those round large objects near the end of the cable.
This monitor extension cable is not a good one. It causes ghosting of images on the monitor and fuzzy text. I imagine this is because the cable is very thin and not shielded. Also the cable may be in need of an additional ferrite core to go around one end of it. That is the way most cables are assembled which come directly with new monitors. This ferrite core serves to block out RFI interference just as shielding on a cable does. They both work in different ways and are synergistic in their effect on interference.
I tried this cable on three different monitors in different locations and each time the text was ghosting and fuzzy. BTW, when I hooked those monitors directly to the same video cards (without the extension cable) the images and text were again clear and sharp. This cable just isn't very well designed.

Black Screen - Horizontal Line in the MiddleStay away from this product.
P.O.S.I'm a bit irked that I'm out 200+ bucks, however, if my option is to pay $60 to send this one back, get someone else's broken monitor and then get told it's my fault, I might as well kick it to the curb and buy one from another company.
Now I'm temporarily using the 6+ year old dell monitor that came with an old computer while I decide what to buy.
Was VERY happy ---- for about a year. Then.........The monitor is still under warrantee, but from what I understand, you must contact NEC and give them a credit card # for security, and they will send you a refurbished replacement. Once you get it, you must then box up the old monitor and send it to them at your expense (probably around $60). If they determine the problem is from damage or neglect, they charge your credit card for the replacement. If not, I guess they fix up the broken one enough to give away to another customer who has problems.
I'm thinking it would be better just to write it off as a bad purchase and buy another brand.

Cobra GPS 100: only good as a paperweight
GPS loses signal and cannot reacquireThe screens are nice in that you can configure the information, but the unit is not as flexible as say a Magellan Meridian.
Too BadI have other Cobra products that are great, however the most disappointing thing about thie unit is that the advertisement of features is at best inaccurate and at worst misleading. It seems that the unit is working like the rest, but certainly without the improved capabilities expounded by Cobra.
Update: Cobra replaced the unit with a new one with no questions asked. Still problematic but due to Cobra Customer Service being proactive, I raised the rating.
The good: Flat panel. With adjustment, you can get the picture right out to the edges. The color is fantastic - especially in games. The ultra-bright button really makes games pop. The aperture grill bars are almost unnoticable.
The bad: The base doesn't mount into the unit. You have to struggle to get the monitor to sit on the base. After you ajust the H/V/Geometry settings they seem to get lost.
The ugly: Wow, the text just sucks. I have a largish mushy spot a little southwest of center. Text becomes a problem at any resolution above 1024x768. The refresh rates will go higher than 85Hz, but raising them does not solve anything.
I'm returning this as soon as the shop I bought it from has a G90 in stock - although I've heard bad things about those as well. When you are looking at monitors, make the salespeople turn off the crappy movie they always use to demo and pull up Outlook or this web page. Take a good close look at the text before choosing the monitor and opening your wallet.
