    No Ready For Prime Time
I thoroughly tested the LiteShow and returned it. The color in high res is excellent. It is slow and has considerable latency. In the User's Guide they state it's not suitable for DVDs. Surprise, you won't find that on the web site. They claim smooth animation and transitions in PowerPoint. No Way. PowerPoint animations were jerky. It was easy to get ahead of the projector so you didn't know where you were unless you look at the screen. It took 49 seconds to go through my 38 slides on the computer, the same took 2 minutes and 43 seconds on the LiteShow. I verified that I was communicating from 15 feet away at 11 mbps.

If I were you, I would wait for better technology
We bought the LiteShow in hopes of converting our Executive conference room from a wired cluster for presentations, to a wireless, professional setup. We got halfway there. The LiteShow adapter is compatible with wireless standard B, and is only available for Ad-Hoc networks. Therefore, if you want to give a presentation with your laptop wirelessly, you cannot wireless connect to your network and the projector at the same time. (Corporate wireless is setup for Infrastructure) This inconvience does not allow presentations to surf the web or download items from your network, unless you purchase a second network card for the laptop. We even tried the multi-channel network adapter cards, which cannot toggle between infrastructure and Ad-hoc, so you lose out there as well.

On top of all the corporate wireless frustrations, there is a noticable delay that for the money you pay for the adapter is unacceptable. If I were you, I would wait at least 6 months for a wireless G, infrastructure based card.

    Short lived, not worth it
Realizing that this type of monitor is not real accurate, I used it probably about 40 times to establish a base line to compare with occasional readings later to spot trends. It worked fine during the baseline period (about 3 months) and I have used it 3-4 times a year since then. I went to do a check recently and although the unit seemed to function perfectly, the display is missing so many segments that the readings are undecipherable. Fresh batteries make no difference. This item was never dropped, treated with great care and always stored in it's protective case in my office at home. It never got wet, I never left it in a hot car etc. I'm gonna try an Omron next...

Readings are not repeatable nor accurate

I had my doctor take several blood pressure readings and then while still in the office took two readings with my Lumiscope 1091 Wrist Watch Style BP Monitor, waiting for ten minutes between readings. Both of the readings I took were different by as much as 10 and they were both 10-15 mm higher than the reading that my doctor took. It's easy to use and has a neat memory feature that records your pulse, time, and date, but it's so inaccurate that I can't recommend it at all!

An article on the WebMD site suggests that automatic monitors that attach to the arm rather than the wrist are more accurate.
I had hoped to find some tips or other information on the manufacturer's web site at... but the
web site was useless. There isn't any explanation as to why they produce so many different models or why someone would select one over the other. This company might be the leading maker of these devices but they are either producing some lemons or this model is just not effective for all users.

    Not good for this money
When you spend 5 figures you expect good quality and good support. Oops, no, not from Zenith, which was bought out by LG of south korea a few years ago. The picture is bright, which is good, but there's distortion along the edges, and color reproduction is poor even after extensive adjustments using two leading adjustment software programs. Many people who watched mine commented on how "fuzzy" the picture looked. It's stylish, but falls flat in picture quality. I highly recommend against this poor product from a company with a poor reputation for poor customer support. Check out Cnet's rankings; get a Fujitsu or Panasonic or Sampo/Gateway if you are short on cash.

    Good picture horrible company
The picture on the 50" plasma is good, the company support is awful. I purchased the set and it had a white powder between the screens. I have made numerous phone calls and have gotten no response from either the seller or Zenith. I purchased a Zenith dvd/vcr combo player at the same time and the dvd quit working 60 days after purchase.

The Plasma runs very hot, the color and brightness are both good. If I were to buy today I would go with the LCD tv's and would not even consider a Zenith product.

    would not buy it again.
The pulse is difficult for me to get it to show my pulse and takes a long time , IF it does work. I got it for the pulse and do not like use it because of the fact that it takes to long. It does not cost alot and if you have the time, it is a cheap buy. One of my kids tried and it said they had not trouble with it. It just doesn't work well for me.

    Worthless
I too found this item to not perform as promised. When I first purchased it I thought I had a defective unit so I returned it for a new one. The new one has not worked any better. The readings are not at all accurate, either very low or very high. Much of the time it doesn't give a reading at all. I purchase this to use at the gym while doing my cardio workout. Its been sitting in my gym bag for months now as its not worth the effort to take it out. I'm really shocked at how poor this device is as I own several other Oregon Scientific products and have always been happy with them.

    Don't bother, it's cheap but it's useless
I purchased this device on the fly while looking for a pulse rate watch. The closest competetion was $50 plus so I thought I'd give it a try. One click buy later I decided to read the reviews! Wow how bad could it be for [item price]? Well, today I received it, the battery was dead and after trying to replace it , a small spring popped out. Ten minutes later I'm still wrestling with it and finally get it together! Then I find another even smaller spring! This review is the last bit of time I will spend on this small poorly designed product. I will read the reviews before I "One Click" next time!

Use on High Res LCD monitor
Terrible results. Scan line interference. Looked like steady stream of waves.

      Absolute crap
I bought 3 of this crap cables, you know: ghosting, poor signal, blah, blah, DON' WASTE YOUR MONEY IN THIS, GO ELSEWHERE AND BUY A GOOD CABLE.

      Very cheap cable
I wouldn't say this is cheap in price considering the quality. It should have been $1.99. Severe ghosting on a Gateway VX1120 through a LinkSys PS2KVM4 switch running two DELLS, and two GATEWAYS with two machines running SUSE LINUX. Horrible reception for every single machine. What a waste of money.

One Star is Too Good a Rating!
Repeating the sentiment of the earlier reviews? Yes, I am. Important to do so? I'd say, yes, it is, since you might think the other three reviewers were just unlucky.

The Cobra 500 is absolutely useless. It locks onto the required 3 satellites ... sometimes. Usually not. But when it does lock on, it loses them within a couple of minutes. On the other hand, when you look at all the features listed in their literature and compare it to the modest price, you think it's too good to be true. Unfortunately, it is. Truly a P.O.S.

Nothing comes close to a COBRA! Don't you!
I purchased (through the Air Miles rewards program) the COBRA GPS500, not once, but TWICE. I first purchased the unit and believed it to be faulty it performed so poorly. Signal acquisition time seemed "forever" and it frequently lost satellite lock. On several occasions, between establishing lock, loosing lock and again re-establishing lock, the unit tells me I've moved upwards to one half mile whereas I've remained stationary, only changing the direction the unit was pointing. Simply changing the direction the unit was pointing (like changing direction in your car or boat) was enough to loose satellite lock! Very poor! I was able to exchange the original unit (unfortunately NOT able to return it) and when I received the replacement unit, it, like the first one, performs very, very poorly. The features offered on the unit would led you to believe it would "shine in the dark," whereas in actual fact, it is the poorest of any GPS unit I've ever used. And to add insult to injury, while I was awaiting deliver of this second unit, believing the first one faulty, I wasted an additional $100.00 by purchasing the PC interface cable, power cord and auto mount. What is that COBRA slogan: "Nothing comes close to a COBRA" You better believe it! Not even a satellite signal is able to get close!

      The worse of all GPS'
I've just bought this gps , and I'm gonna tell you I'm totally dissapointed with this unit.At the same time my father bought a Garmin eTrex unit and it's much better. I now regret all the fun I've made about his GPS and mine because mine has 18 satellite connection and his just 12. Fisrt of all the Garmin connects in about 45 second while the Cobra in 2 minutes.
Meanwhile the Garmin gets 9 sats the Cobra only gets 5. Now I'm working with UTM coordinates and the Garmin shows me all the info I need while the Cobra doesn't.
The unit handling is friendly user for the Garmin while the Cobra doesn't.
An overall qualification 0 out of 10.

      Don't believe the journal reviews
I accepted the reviews in major trade magazines. I'm now ready to return my second monitor back to viewsonic. A major disappointment after having great success with another monitor. I believe it is a model specific issue.

      If only it worked!
This LCD worked for about 2 days.

      Now it doesn't.

Customer support is pathetic, hence this review.

It was a wonderful 2 days, though!

      Poor construction quality and image
For the first 4 months, this monitor worked well. The image was decent, although not as crisp or stable as my CTX 17" LCD. I liked the televison feature too. Minor annoyances included highly sensitive buttons and the flimsy speaker covers.

The real problems started after about 4 months. The monitor went dead. It did display from the PC or television. It did not respond to any of the controls (remote or on the unit itself). I could not turn it off from the power button either.

I called Viewsonic and they had me ship the unit back and they supposedly sent me a new one. I immediately installed the unit and had the same problems. It did not repsond to any of the buttons. When I plugged it in, it turned itself on, but did not respond to any of the controls.

They sent another and I had the same exact problems. Finally, I called back and they sent a third unit without me even having to send the 2nd replacement back. So, now I'm using the 3rd replacement and this one is far from acceptable. The screen had an extremely distracting flicker. I solved the problem by adjusting the LCD setting. Now, I'm looking at fuzzy text. Not all of the text is fuzzy, just random letters and characters. It looks almost like output from a copier or printer w/ a toner problem. The fuzzy letters form a striping like effect. I'm not experienced enough to check card settings. However, the average user should not have to endure such problems.

      Works fine--while it works
After using the Envision EN-985e for over a year, I've found that the best thing about this monitor is the 3-year warranty. My family decided to purchase this as a replacement for our Compaq 15" monitor included with our computer. At first the huge viewing area was impressive, but it was very difficult to adjust to where it was square in the screen, and completely in focus. But we were willing to live with it. Unfortunately just five days later, the monitor was dead. Figuring it was just a defective one, we returned it. The replacement worked for 3 months before it again failed. After another round of sending it back to the manufacturer and getting it repaired, it worked for 6 months then failed again. More warranty service, worked for another few months, and now it has stopped working once more. Without the warranty this thing would have been a complete waste of money. As it is, it's just a poor excuse for a monitor, and unless you have a backup to use while you're sending it back for warranty service, STAY AWAY.

      Not even close...
I bought this monitor when it was on sale + 50 bucks rebate. With a coupon, total came out to about 100. Luckily I did not cut off the barcode or else I wouldn't be able to return it.

It was easy enough to set this up but the problem started when I tried to adjust the screen. No matter what I did, I just couln't achieve the optimal view setting with clear text and color.

Unless it was set at 1024x768 or the next higher setting of 11xx at 60 mhz, the screen was painfully filled with moire effect and no matter what I did, I couldn't make them go away. If I calibrate using the corners, the center is fuzzy and if I concentrate on the center, the corders were fuzzy...

But that's not the worst problem I had with this monitor. The biggest and the worst problem was at anything higher than 60 mhz at any resolution, I couldn't fill the screen. There were black gap at the right and left side of the screen even though the horizontal size setting was set at 100%. Only when I lowered the refresh rate to 60, I was able to fix the problem.

After thinking hard about whether I should spend extra 100 or so for another brand, I decided to return it because I knew that I was going to use the monitor for at least a few years even if I change the computer. In fact, I knew that the monitor should be one component that I should get the best even if it is more expensive.

So I returned it with no regret and I am getting SONY lcd that is smaller (15") and three times more expensive. Call me crazy but I still think I made the right decision.

      I've been hurt too
This is not the only Amazon video projector price that is not accurate. I tried to buy a 3m video projector for $464.00 only to be told the same story about it being an Amazon error and that the actual product for sale was a replacement bulb for the projector. Folks, don't get your hopes up. In reality, $311.00 is the cost of a replacement bulb for this product; the real projector sells for much more. Amazon needs to work a little harder to make sure its ads are correct. These errors reflect on the professionalism of Amazon and ruin the public's faith in the company.

YOU WILL NEVER GET THIS PRODUCT

and always give me refund confirmation for my payment amount.
