This mouse is perfect for those who prefer the traditional style mouse. It's very reliable, and super accurate. Though I prefer trackballs, this would be my first choice if I were to buy a traditional mouse. GET IT!

A gift purchase that works as advertised. Mom said she loves it. Good, inexpensive scroll mouse (her first). Fast delivery also!

Highly recommended for laptops. Even though it has a "connect" button, never had to use it. Just plug and play installation. No need to download/install drivers. Used it with Win 2000 and Win XP.
Pros ::

* Might be small for a person with large hands &/or long fingers
* Just 2 button mouse
* Not aware of any way to program the "buttons" ( for "left handed" persons )
* Slightly heavier ( because of batteries ) compared to a general optical mouse.

How can you beat the price!! Everthing works great. I would definetly recommend.

This is my first cordless mouse and my first wheeled mouse. Both the cordless part and the wheel part help my shoulder from getting so sore.
There is no delay in reaction to the mouse movement or to the buttons, but sometimes there is a fraction of a second delay before the screen recognizes the scroll. It also has a zoom function via the wheel, which is nice, but I can't get it to funtion consistently. The instructions also say the mouse can control horizontal scrolling, too, but it doesn't work with any of my programs.
The mouse is a bit smaller than my other mice, but not so small as to be uncomfortable to use. At first, I thought it would be way to light to track properly, but with the addition of batteries (2 AAA, included) it has a comfortable weight to it.
I like all the Logitech products I've used and would buy any of them.

The lovely beauty of this mouse is the convergence of price, utility, and flexibility. It's cheap (too cheap to pass up if you still use a rollerball mouse), it's extremely adaptable as it works on Win2k/XP machines without even drivers, and it's a high-performer with the optical technology. No skips, no hesitations, just accurate and reliable pointing at a killer price point.

If you need a mouse that you won't fret if you loose it or break it by dropping it in the floor, this is the one. I bought this mouse to use with my laptop when I don't feel like using the touchpad. It has a middle button that can be customized to perform different fuctions, such as page down, home, end, or F1 through F12 function keys. However, its shape is not as ergonomic as more expensive mice.

great mouse beats other by wide margin

ENCARTA DELUXE is good, but it is better to buy Encarta Reference Library, because it has more text, more multimedia and more features (Atlas and so on). I have reviewed it if you want extra information. The PC system requirements are about the same.

I have been running the wireless keyboard and mouse for about a half a month. I use it in my living room, so not being tied down with wires is what attracted me to the mouse and keyboard. And it accomplishes that goal.

The disavantage is that you need to be within 5 feet of the base station, or they won't work. Also, you must be parrallel with the base station. Therefore the range of the wireless keyboard and mouse is between 3 and 5 feet of the base station. If you are getting the combo for unlimited mobility, then you may want to wait until they expand the distance from the base station, or be prepared to purchase a USB extention.
