I NEED AT LEAST 6' IN LENGTH OF CABLE MABY EVEN LONGER. ANY THOUTHS?

Since i bought this cable for my receiver, i have never want to go to movies again. DVD is the answer for me.

I love it so much the picture has never been better, if you've got any sort of home theater system it's not complete without this. DVD's have the best picture you can get at home but it gets better with this. Get IT NOW for any home theater system!

I'm tired of what-so-called "Monster Cable". 10 years ago Monster Cable phenomenon (that time for analog signal) was a hot discussion topic in many audio magazines.

So far, everybody knows that the improvement in signal quality from Monster Cable is so little compared to its huge jump in price. This argument is much more convincing in case of digital signal. Believe me, with your human ears you can't detect the difference between Monster Cable and the generic. Also except you intentionally abuse the audio cables by twisting them or bending them sharply, the generic cables will do the job very well, even the cheapest ones. So do yourself a favor... except you're rich and don't mind spending money.

Although some will argue the pros and cons of expensive audio cables, it is hard to imagine how one digital video cable can be better than another. The signal either arrives at the source or it doesn't.

While I was happy with the cable, I can't see any advantage over a cheaper generic cable. Digital is digital.

Well, I've been contemplating getting these cables for a whilenow, I do a lot of recording from my PC to MD. Although I tend toagree with the other review above about how 'digital' is 'digital', I believe these cables have other qualities that makes them better. For one, they are better quality than the "digital/optical' cable that came with my MD in that they are far less 'fragile'. If an 'optical' cable bends too much, you might experience signal loss or even 'break' the cable if it is twisted to sharply.

I think these cables are worth getting even though you might not experience 'audio improvement', the fact that they stand up to 'abuse' better is enough reason for me. END

This is just what I needed for my auto adapter. This is packaged in the white "iPod" line, but the cable is not white. I was disappointed in that.

However, appearances aside, it works well.

I love Monster Cables, but these POD design cables are a pain. The angled design of the connectors (see the picture) actually increased the strain between them; that strain makes them difficult to install and tends to cause them to work themselves loose occasionally. The interlocking design of the POD is a good idea for keeping your cabling neat; however, the cable strain makes that feature difficult to use as well. You really have to spend a long time playing with these cables to get them to stay put.

Do yourself a favor by purchasing the regular, straight Monster A/V cables.

The picture for this one is wrong. There are RCA jacks for the left and right audio channels, and an SVideo connector (the round one) for the video, not another RCA jack as pictured here. There probably should be both types.

Since the ordering of the connectors is probably not the same on your equipment as on the POD, and the POD cables are all quite short, the twisting can put some extraction force on the cable ends, which seem like they may come out by themselves in some cases. Didn't have a problem myself though.

Decent quality stuff. Ridiculously expensive like all Monster Cable stuff.

These may look nice...as does all Monster Cable products. But make sure they fit your receiver before buying them for all connections.

In terms of home audio, you won't really notice a difference with the cables. you probably won't notice your audio isn't as clear and crisp as it should be, and if you do notice, you'll blame the receiver, the speakers, the source, but not the cables.

Everyone knows Monster is the standard for good, name-brand quality. They've always sounded perfect for me.

It all depends if you're willing to take the risk of a no-name for the price difference.
