There are lot's of power strips out there. This one is a neat and safe one that has turned the jungle of wire behind our TV into an organized and protected array. Overall a good product with a nice manufacturer's Guarantee of performance.

It always made me nervous to go in my sons room and see all the outlets full, and extention cords being used "illegally". The Monster Cable MP AV600 has not only neatly and safely consolidated this hazard, [pricey] equiptment to which it attaches.

It serves its purpose at an affordable price. A must buy.

I stumbled across this thing in the Urban Outfitters magazine. Laughed it off.
Two months later, I bought one. Now it is an essential part of my gaming experience. Well, tv. as well. I make my girlfriend squeeze on it and watch "24."
If you wanna get sucked into the t.v further than you ever have by being engulfed in sound. I suggest you get this, and hook up external speakers. Get it before Halo 2 comes out, and you probably won't need to leave the house.

I saw this thing at CES and I have to admit feeling is believing. I laid down on this thing and forgot where I was for about a half an hour. The bass rumbles along with your controller and the sound is all around you. It was really cool for gaming and I bought one from amazon and i love it.

That's how I stumbled upon this piece of furniture, looking for computer speakers and randomly taken to the pyramat item. After reading the near perfect reviews, I decided to splurge a little (it was the end of the exam period- i deserved a toy). This thing is pretty amazing. Here's why if you have the money to buy this, you should:
1) Comfort: this thing is better than most pieces of funtiture in your house/dorm room right now. Forget the fact it has sorround sound built in, I'm talking about the material and comfort of it. All my friends who have used it have loved the comfort.
2) Sound: amazing. the built in speakers simulate a sorround sound effect very well. However, plug in 2 [bad] external speakers (for $... at any electronics store) and get real sorround sound. Pretty amazing, awesome to use for watching or listening to anything.
3) Customer Service: My first pyramat was actually busted. I called them up, no wait, talked to somebody in managment immediatly, they sent out a new pyramat the next day and set up a paid home pickup for my busted mat. Best service I've ever encountered.
4) Just plain cool. Your headrest is a subwoofer. You are sorrounded by sound. You can't really beat that.

Drawbacks:
-The 4inch sub could be more powerful, although its right next to your head, but it still could be a little more powerful without getting too dangerous.
-These aren't Altec Lansing speakers...but for the price for everything included you shouldn't expect them (nor are they too far off from the quality of the altec's I have on my computer)

So if you're looking for a fun new addition to wherever, seriously just buy this and check it out. For the price it's probably the best, most useful toy you will have bought in a while.

PS2 and you like to feel like yourr in the game this is something you have to have. It truely is the best thing you could ever have for the PS2!!!!

I got this thing about a year ago. At first, it ruled. After a few months, one of the speakers started to make a popping noise every once in a while. I emailed monstercable, and they sent me a new one, just like that. A few weeks ago, one of the ports on the subwoofer went. I emailed them back and they sent me a brand new one. Now my system rules again

I got this Monster cable for my PS2 because of the Monster name. And that's just about all you'll get if you buy this set of cables to replace the ones that came with your PS2. Yes, the image quality and the sound quality are improved, but not enough to justify the [amount of money] that you'll spend for these cables. If you got money to burn, then get these cables. Else, the ones that came with your PS2 are good enough.

Maybe Im just a rock but how are you supposed to connect your system to both a TV and a audio reciever/decoder? There is not enough play in the end to allow the video cable to go to the TV and the audio cables to go to my sound system. So after trying to slice the individual cables apart with my kbar I finally gave up and just used regular AV cables.

who every says these cables are bad really must not knew what they are saying I have two ps2 one american one imported both use monster cables and a dreamcast which are all hooked up to monster cables for hdtv tekken tag is improved 75% I can see sweat coming from unknowns body and every thing behind the action as it should be see by true gamers so take it from a person that only plays imported games if you have the money go with monster

Not having this surge protector is asking for trouble. It is small and convenient. It looks ultra-cool with its numerous lights going to work for you.

The PS600 is specifically geared to protect your PS2. Monster is known for quality and this product is no exception. It will even protect you from online surges (for when the PS2 goes online in the future).

This is definitely a wise investment.

Anyone who owns PS2 or any high tech devices must know that anything Monster makes is the BEST!! Protect your investments like I have and always will!! I researched these cables a lot before I bought them and everyone seemed to say that they were better than the Sony S-Video cable. Let me tell, I KNEW these cables would make a difference but I never would have thought they would make SUCH A SIGNIFICANT Difference as they have! I have my PS2 hooked up to a relatively small 20' Sony TV and the difference is unbelievable! I put in Madden and the crowd and turf looked sooooo detailed---that was my test.

I convinced my friend to buy them for his 27'-inch Sony TV and he's lovin' it. Also, I bought the Monster S-Video cables to use with my X-Box and my 32' Sony Wega TV and the picture and sound are excellent.

The jump in quality from standard composite (RCA) cables to S-Video is quite significant. The jump from S-Video to Component is not as significant. If your TV has an S-Video jack, get these cables, PERIOD. People complain about the $40 price?!?!?!?! What the heck is wrong with you people?!?! It's only $40 and you're telling me you rather play $50 games on a $200 - $300 (depending when you bought it) System with crap--that's why they came Free with the system--cables that has inferior Picture quality?!

BUY THESE CABLES AND EXPERIENCE YOUR PS2 LIKE THEY WAY IT WAS DESIGNED TO! You absolutely will not be disappointed.

We had to tape the cables to the power cord in order to get a color picture. After about a week of this, they no longer would show a color picture at all. Save your money. The cables do an incredible job while they work but are not worth the money you spend on them when they break.

The picture quality on the Monster Gamelink 400 is quite breathtaking, especially on my Mitsubishi 55" Wide-screen HDTV. Without going into technical details, this is by far the best way to hook up the PS2 to your television. Before purchasing, make certain that your television has Component video input AND that you have a receiver with fiber optic digital inputs. You will need a TOS-link fiber optical cable to transfer sound as yes, the GameLink 400 does not include sound. TOS-link cables are quite common and can be found for as little as [PRICE] for a 10' cable, a small price to pay for the huge increase in sound quality and to get the most out of your system.

I have been using this powercenter for over a year and it works well. What I like best is that I don't notice any loss of signal quality when using the Coax filter. I have noticed this with other coax filters. The color coded and labelled outlets also are handy when moving/adding equipment. This way you know exactly what you are unplugging. A couple things I didn't like about the powercenter is that it is only rated at 15amps (~1800 watts). So if you have a 20amp circuit for your hometheater you are not able to draw all the power you could. This is probably not a big deal unless you have a lot of equipment and are running it all from the powercenter. Another item to watch for it that the coax input/output connectors have a tendency to loosen up. Then when I move the powercenter my sub woofer thumps loudly. Like it is shorting out internally. This is easy fixed or avoided by tightening the coax fittings. Lastly this unit will not take care of ground loop hums that can occur from improperly grounded cable feeds.

This clock radio has it all... almost. The Atomic clock synched right up, the sound is quite good, I like the "Nap" feature and the ability to set two alarms to two different times on each different day of the week is cool.

So, I set it all up and put in my bedroom and when it got dark I realized the radio was useless to me - no matter how you set the backlighting brightness display you have to get right on top of the clock to read the display. So trying to set the nap timer or the sleep timer or change the alarm settings, after dark, becomes almost impossible. When you turn up the brightness the numerals just stay the same and the backlighting just gets brighter and glares in your face.

The manual leaves a bit to be desired too and just ignores features like backup (which it seems to have because when you disconnect from power the clock continues to display and the setting are saved; I just have no idea how long and if that feature is something I can count on).

Bottom line is I would surely keep the clock if I could only read it at night.... but I can't; so back it goes. Too bad.
