Great Value, but difficult install
I was pleased with the product in terms of what it offered and the price, but when it came time to install, that was a different story. XP did not recognize it as a 2.0 device, it wanted to use the generic 1.0 drivers, thus 1.0 speed. I had to manually update the driver and pick from a list with the hit-and-miss method - an automatic search would not find it. I have finally got it to recognize the device correctly, but have not tested to see if it meets 2.0 bandwidth yet.

I would go for a major brand next time.

    Meets Needs, but False advertisement
I ordered this cable hoping that it would help with getting away from the limited use of the USB cradle due to the fact that I have a PDA case that requires velcro on the back. With the velcro, the once natural fit of the eBookman on the cradle becomes too snug and I am afraid I am going to damage the unit everytime I attach the device on. In turn, I purchased the USB cable, but the picture that Amazon shows is a long "version" of the cord. Looking closer, it looks like they just chopped off the USB cable from a cradle and showed that, being that cable is longer. In reality, the cable is a very short limited one. No wonder they offer it for 51% off. But oh, do they make up for the cost in shipping and handling. When I got the product and saw how short it was, I was naturally disappointed. I was looking for a long USB cable as advertised, long and convienent, and instead I got a limited short reachability.

OK for basic file migration, but not real networking
I bought my first laptop and for some reason assumed that a USB cable was the way to go for file synchronization.

This product does what it promises (providing a primitive drag and drop interface to send files back and forth) -- good enough for a one-shot file transfer but not for day-to-day syncing. Your other applications do not get access to the remote computer, and you can't even leave the cable plugged in! (My win ME desktop would crash on startup, anyway.)

[note: the CD promises an alternate software setup called "Virtual Network," but I simply cannot get it to install. QVS support claims that it is not intended for this product]

Two days later I was back at the store to buy an ethernet card and ethernet "crossover" cable. It was cheaper than this, does everything I wanted, and was only a little annoying to configure through Windows.

    Doesn't work with Windows 2000!
I bought this reader a number of months ago because it was cheap and portable. I have never been able to get it working consistently on my Windows 2000 system. When I insert a memory card of any type, Windows 2000 tells me I have improperly removed a USB device from the system and the drive icons disapper in Windows Explorer. To get the reader working, I have to stop the USB device manually, then hope the system "refinds" it and adds the drives to Windows Explorer. When the reader IS found by the system, no problems, but getting there is a headache! At worst, the drivers send the UMONIT.EXE (USB monitoring) process pegging at 99% CPU usage and my system is unusable until I manually stop it. I have especially had trouble getting it to work with SanDisk OEM SD memory cards.

I have reinstalled the drivers and hardware more times than I can count, to no avail. I contacted technical support months ago and they sent me down a couple of silly paths that weren't helpful. I now see that the Dazzle website no longer has information for this product. Their knowledgebase only points to Pinnacle's website...

I can't vouch for performance with other Windows OS's, but if you have Windows 2k, BEWARE!!

    Many problems with this reader
Have had massive problems with two of these readers that I bought for work. One of them repeatedly disappears from my computer after I read and remove a card, and I have to reboot to bring it back. The other has somehow corrupted two Smartmedia cards and made them unusable. Zio supposedly has a firmware upgrade but so far has not actually sent it, nor is it available on their website, not to mention they said you can only install it with a Win98 system... Avoid this product, by all means.

    Software driver problems
This product works well when it works, but all too often it does not work. The Win2k driver, even when installed carefully, often fails to recognise media. I am a computer professional, and I tried various tactics; I can now make it work, but it is complicated, fiddly, and ridiculous. Phone and email support are useless (gave up after 45 minutes on hold on the phone, even when email questions are accepted and acknowledged no reply ever arrives). Avoid this product.

    Don't even think about it!
DON'T BUY IT!!! This product is a junk. It doesn't feed smaller items through the scanner, the driver crashes a lot and it doesn't work with a B/W Cartridge only. The lexmark customer support is just awful.

Why isn't 0 stars an option? This product is THAT BAD!
Do not even think of buying this product. It is just no good. The driver supplied with it does not work very well with windows 2000. The driver software crashes at least once a day, and if you want to print again, you need to reboot your computer. The copier/scanner mechanism does not feed narrow items/small items very well. If you ever hope to scan something other than 8x11 plain paper, you're in for a surprise. This thing is junk, and the Lexmark support team is of no help whatsoever. The "driver" software problem noted above was mentioned to them, and they claim it is not a "known issue" nor will they assign it "known issue" status - yet many other folks are having the same problem. Just search the web for "lexmark red diamond red x" as the symptom is that the driver's "red diamond" symbol turns into a "red x" when the driver software has crashed. Goodbye Lexmark, hello HP.

Turn the other way and run!!!
I have dealt with a lot of poor products in my lifetime, and poor customer service but Lexmark's X125 is the worst. I purchased it off of Dell's website with my new computer and have never been able to get it to work (even with customer support on the phone) They have sent me 2 new printers (Along with the new one 1 bought) and each one has a different fatal problem. Lexmark makes it nearly impossible to get in touch with customer support and when they do finally diagnose your problem (If you can understand your customer support person) as a faulty printer they send you a RE-FURBISHED printer (1 printer had crumbs in the display)
    Pathetic!
Read the other reviews for the Lexmark X125, this is a lousy product!

    Junk, period.
This is the worst gamepad I've ever seen in Logitech's line up. There are few very buttons, making it useless for almost any game. There is no start button which many have gotten accustomed to nowadays. The buttons on the right are so tiny! They feel odd and qwerky when pressed. Logitech has been known for making some of best game controllers out there, and I don't see why they went to make this so poorly. I'm very dissapointed in this product, thus do not recommend to anyone.

    Junk
Brand new, won't even calibrate properly. Save your money. Logitech should be ashamed for putting out such a piece of [junk].

    D pad is horrible
I bought this to play Nascar 2002 mainly so I thought this would maybe be O.K. Not so...Action is terrible...worse than a 20 year old Atari controller. So unless you like to crash or get your...whipped in fighting games ...spend a few more bucks.

    Did not work; no support
Installed the product according to the directions on my Dell Inspiron 5100 running XP Pro. It never recognized the HP OfficeJet Printer. Uninstalled; reinstalled - no luck. Contacted customer support twice. No response.

    Poor offering for $50.00
I bought this because I needed a serial & parallel port on my laptop. It did not work for my HP printer (I should have checked with HP first!) makes me wonder what their "works with hundreds of printers" ad-line means. The driver installation for windows is not something a novice user would want to deal with when it goes wrong (I had to uninstall/reinstall, and even then it's got to be in perfect sequence or the device won't show up).
And for even the slightest power-drain on the USB bus, this device won't deliver -- in all it became nothing more than a lit up chunk of plastic sitting behind my notebook. I've opted to return it for refund.
Oh, and I contacted Keyspan about the printer problem, 7 days later and I've heard nothing. That's not tech support in my book.

Piece of Garbage On Windows 98SE
I agree 100% with the last reviewer. The product will install and show up in your systems manager, but will not interface with anything. I tried my printer, a camera, 2 nights messing with it, looking for updates even called their support line, same thing as the last reviewer, "Wait for the next representative". Yeah theyre probably all working out in the shipping area, getting returns. Waste of money and time. Nothing works with it. Dont waste yours.

Update to my earlier post. Just today I sent the product back and bought the Belkin 3 Port, 2 external, 1 internal USB. Its available from Amazon, seller is Office Depot. Awesome, very precise and easy to follow instructions. Installed the drivers, plugged in the card and BOOM I was in business. Best $29.00 Ive spent on a USB card. Taught me a valuable lesson. Buying cheap, always ends up being expensive. Its totally compatible and tested to work on Windows98 98se Me, Macs and XP.

DON'T BUY IT!!!! WASTE OF MONEY
Don't not buy this pci card. I bought it recently and not only is it not working but it screwed up my whole computer. To see if it was my computer's problem, I installed the Card on another PC and that PC crashed. I wouldn't recommend especially if you are using Microsoft Windows. This product did NOT get the Microsoft Logo check(This is like a recommendation check from microsoft, if it did not get a check then you are probably going to have problems with it). I found out this info later by going to Microsoft.com website. I tried to reach customer service of Micro Innovation, and all I hear is "please wait for the next available customer representative". I waited 30 minutes on the phone but no answer. It is a total waste of money and time.

          Doesn't work stable
I bought this Hub and it doesn't work consistantly -- sometimes good, sometimes bad. Finally after a week it doesn't get recognized by the computer any more -- it's "Unknown Device". All other USB products works fine on my computer. This product is no good and don't waste your money and energy on it.
