I purchased this cable and the pins were weak and clumsy. I could not even plug it in and one of the pins broke. I threw it away. It is a piece of junk.

This s-video converter provides absolutely no better performance than a $$ converter purchased from your local electronics store. I purchased both and performed some tests. Scan lines are clearly visible and picture quality is mediocre at best. Don't waste your money on this Entech product packaged with the Monster Cable name.

Beware, the F-Pin connectors are very fragile. Even a small amount of tug applied to the connectors will pull it right off the cable. For the amount of money I spent on the Monster Video Cable, they should have been stronger. I picked a cheap length of cable at my local hardware store and the connectors were virtually indestructable. Monster Cable should manufacture a more robust product.

Take heed to the other reviews. This item is outrageously over-priced!!! While the construction may be exceptional you will get no more benefit from this cable than from a standard IEEE1394 cable which costs about 1/4 of the price! I use the freebie cord which came with my firewire card and it works perfectly every time. (by the way this cable costs more than my firewire card and cable put together...)

I liked one of its feature that using normal AA battery instead of rechargeble battery because I know the annoying charging process for built in charger and rechargeable battery.
I would rather buy separate rechargeable battery kit, not built in, for saving money because those batteries stays even longer and easy to charge and more cheaper.

Most terrible feature of this headphone is auto power-off function to save power. Problem is that only transmitter which is get power from AC adapter has this auto power-off function and the headset which is using battery doesn't. What a nonsense! Also, whenever the transmitter turned to power-off mode, the noise from headset almost destroy my eardrums. What a waste of power. The auto power-off mode happens to frequently and errortically. Whenever the cd player end, whenever a mp3 file end, whenever the music get to small, the transmitter turns to auto power-off mode and make big noise. Almost drives me mad.

I was running regular RCA cables from my satellite receiver to the TV (the cables that came with the DSS package). I decided to "upgrade" to this Recoton s-video package instead. The picture was no better than my RCA connection. In fact, to be sure I ran the RCA output and the s-video output to the TV at the same time but on different video channels. Switching back and forth between the two I could tell little to no difference. If anything, the Recoton cables were worse. Guess I'll shell out the cash for Monster cables.

specs were great, so I decided to give at a try despite the warnings from others. Now I'm returning it back. First, WinDVR won't install on my XP Pro system. In the very beginning of the installation it gives "remote procedure call failed" and aborts. MSI web site has the same faulty version. Intervideo doesn't want to deal with this issue, "If you need OEM (bundled) support for an Intervideo product, please contact the OEM for that information because we do not provide exhuastive support for OEM versions of the program" Ok, downloaded the latest version of WinDVR 3.0. This one installs and seems to work. And what do I get from the MSI card? - Just a beautiful blue screen on all channels.

This camera has relatively low quality. The software bundled with it it nearly useless. I have had nonstop problems with keeping the thing running. Maybe other people have had more luck. At this point I have given up on the mobile camera function entirely.
