A perfect sizeThis Pocket PC holder is just right in size. I orignally purchased the travel size pocket PC holder from Fellowes and it just didn't cut it. It was too big and bulky without the capacity to justify the size. This one is smallenough to drop in your purse or briefcase.
(1-1/2" deep x 4-3/4" wide x 6-3/8 long)
THE RIGHT STUFF PROVIDED FOR
This is one of the few Pocket PC holders that had a spot both for the stylus and a pen and a spot for a pad of paper.
It seems odd with all the capacity of a Pocket PC to want a pad of paper, but hey, try to leave a note for someone with just a Pocket PC in hand. Hence my wanting paper and pen at hand too.
Also, under where the pad of paper fits and is provided, you can put credit or business cards. There is no wasted space.
EXPENSIVE LOOKING THOUGH NOT REAL LEATHER
This handheld Pocket PC case is expensive looking and feeling, with a plastic zipper that has a large metal tang that is easy to grasp. The plastic zipper is desirable as many Pocket PC owners complained of the metal zippers damaging the finish on their devices. The large metal zipper pull makes it easy to close up quickly.
This is the best mix of size and capacity I have seen on the market for the Pocket PC, and I've looked at them all. The price is right too.
Keeps your palm and other stuff too!

PerfectThe belt loop on the back has a velcro patch that holds the loop securely closed. This is really handy because you don't have to take your pants half-way off to put the case on your belt - just open the velcro, slip it over the belt, and close the velcro again. The nylon construction is very sturdy.
Yeah, it gets in the way occasionally, just like anything hanging on your belt does. But when I'm on the go, there is no handier way to haul my PDA than in this case.

Finally! The case is made of fine leather with an excellent grain and finish. The fastener is on a strip of leather that is long and will not break when you put another inch of stuff into the pouch. Interior pockets will hold two pens, six credit cards, the PDA, CF memory modules, a pocket modem, notes galore, and it closes without bulging. Also there is an 8x5 standard and easily replaced notepad, which gives you the perspective as to the size of this jewel.
It adds additional value when you compare the price of similar items that may not use the quality controls that this one does. Five stars and one less thing I have to add to my ten-pound purse.

Returned itOther minor complaints are the heavy weight, and the lack of 802.11 wireless or DVD write features.
Love it!

A great simple wallet
Best-kept secret in the PDA case world!Features: Very good quality leather, zipper and stitching. Compact design still allows room for credit cards, small memo pad, folding green. Velcro strip (included) securely attaches PDA to case. Clean, unobtrusive exterior with subtle Sumdex logo. Elastic battery holders also fit compact pens/pencils.
Drawbacks: Compact design will not hold checkbook or larger memo pad and may not be suitable for larger PDAs (verify dimensions before purchasing). Not reversible -- PDA must be placed on right side of interior. No choice of color (black only). No dedicated window for business cards or other owner information.
General comments: Overall, a great value in a stylish, well-designed case. Recommended.
A product worth 6 Stars!This case has:
All leather construction
A couple of elastic loops for batteries (which I use for a pen, since my Zire is rechargeable)
Velcro to hold your PDA in place
Pockets for cash, credit cards, buisness cards, memory cards, etc. (One large and two small)
Zipper Closure
On the box it came in, it shows a list of PDAs that it will most definitely fit (and any other one that you may have will most likely fit). Here is what is guaranteed to fit:
Palm Zire
Palm Zire 21
Palm Zire 71
Palm Tungsten C
Sony NX series
Sony TG50
Visor Platinum
IPaq h1900 Series
IPaq h3900 Series
IPaq h5400 Series
Toshiba e750
Dell Axium
ViewSonic V35
My favorite part? The ease of getting to the charger. My Zire has the charger cable and Mini USB ports on top, so I just move the zipper a little and plug it in!
I hope this helps you!
Overall, the laptop has a very appealing design and is right up there with other laptops in style, such as the Sony line of laptops. The widescreen display is just candy for your eyes and great for many applications, especially browsing the internet.
The system specs were plenty for my taste, enought to do everyday activities and once in a while a strenuous one, like play games, run CPU taxing programs etc. The HDD size is plenty, though you really only get around 33gb after the OS is installed and etc.
I have not yet ran the computer off the AC adaptor, but the few times I did take it off the power, I really like the feature that tells you (approx.) how much time you have left to run the laptop on the battery. The battery life is great compared to my last laptop. It seems to calculate to over 4+ hours.
Another great feature that I love is the wireless internet. However, it does some weird things when I turn the wireless off and then back on. It finds my network, but won't connect. I just restart the laptop which isn't a big deal. I leave the wireless on most of the time anyway. The button to turn it off and on is a great feature as well.
The feature that I must say I like is the fact that the fan, about 90% of the time, does not come on! My last laptop ran the fan all the time, but this laptop apparently can handle it without running. It's so quiet I don't know if it's on or not. It also usually runs only at around 600Mhz. I rarely see it reach the 1.4Ghz mark. The firewire port is a handy feature, but I really wished they included the 6-pin style rather than the 4-pin. I would really like to try out the infrared port too.
So far I have been very impressed with Compaq's laptop. It's thin, lighter than my old laptop (Gateway 400 series) and it's amazing because it's bigger than that laptop. The speakers are not too good, but it's tolerable. Of course you're not going to get Klipsche quality speakers, but they do their job.
The only other problem I've had is that I haven't been able to burn a CD on the laptop yet. It does have a CD-RW drive, but my software doesn't recognize the drive. I have used Easy CD Creator and Nero, but it can't find my drive. Strange.
One last pet peeve are the stickers that come on the laptop. :) I've tried to get a couple of them off, but they just won't come off!
Overall, you can't beat what you get for the price. I've compared it to the Dell Inpiron 8600, eMachines, HP, and Gateway and the only other close competitor for me were the widescreen series for Gateway. The lower price pulled me to this laptop and I don't regret it!
