I recently purchased a HP Laptop model zd7000. Finding a carrying case for a laptop with a 17 inch screen isn't easy. Most cases built for a laptop this size are closer to $100. Even though the case was made for IBM Thinkpads, it showed dimensions big enough for my HP, so I ordered it. The case itself is a superior product in construction. My HP wouldn't fit with the air cushions in place, but they are only held in by Velcro, so once they were removed, my computer fit perfectly. Anybody that's wanting a case for an extra large laptop that wants a reasonably priced case, this is for you.

This is a great case. I have been looking for a case for my Armada E500, and this one is it. Has plenty of room for my laptop, accesories and Palm, and all my cables.

I spent hours in retail stores looking for a carrying case for my large laptop. My laptop is 14" wide, but the biggest cases were 13.5". I could squeeze into that size, but I was uncomfortable with potential for exterior buttons on the laptop being persistently pressed in while in the case.

Going on interior specifications alone, I bought the Excursion Roller via Amazon. It fits my laptop perfectly, and has more pockets and zippers than I know what to do with. It's bulky for my simple commute to work, but will be especially nice for long trips. I purchased this case at a tough time, before most manufacturers have begun offering carrying cases for large laptops.

This case is big enough to handle all of the cables that come with your notebook in such a way as to avoid damage to them or from them. I kept my AC Adaptor in the big mesh pocket and internet/usb cables in the slip pockets, as well as, a keypad a DV inverter and a usb hub. They shared pockets, but all fit. The case lid is effectively a CD/smartcard visor. You can fit quite a few in there, but I've never really trusted placing CDs in such close proximity. Great product overall for handling all that junk that always ends up going with your laptop.

This case was obviously designed for a Toshiba tablet, which incidentally what I happen to have.

While the leather feels "fake", it's an improvement over the true fabric case. Of course, I love the magnetic clasp closure. This would work unless I decide I want to drop a $2200 Tablet PC on purpose.

Warning, you'll need to reverse the tablet orientation to use the tablet format in the portrait (true tablet) mode.

Targus cases are built to withstand abuse and protect the equipment. The wheels that it uses are in-line skate wheels designed to handle bumpy terrain and the case is soft inside but rigid on the corners to protect the contents. I would highly recommend, the price is higher than the cheaper made brands but it has alot to offer and if you paid over 2k on your laptop it is cheap insurance.
