It's useful, but not very sturdy and I keep losing the cap
Works great, but a bit big.PROS:
*It works great at what it's supposed to do.
*Its about 3 times faster than a Zip disk (250MB USB).
*As soon as I get more money, I can easily upgrade its storage capacity, which is impossible with most USB Thumb drives.
CONS:
*It is made of relatively flimsy plastic, and the cover for the memory stick is always coming out when you try to unplug it.
*It is about twice the size of my Lexar Media 256MB Jump drive, because it has to have space for the memory that you put in. This large size can be a problem if there are things plugged in surrounding ports, but a cable is included that solves this problem.
All in all, this device is a good solution for somebody who wants a thumb drive, but cannot afford the expensive, high capacity ones. You can use a memory stick/card from an old digital camera, and purchase more memory at a later date.

FALSE ADVERTISING - 17" powerbook owners bewareAlthough the product is nicely made and attractive, especially for the price, the notebook compartment is padded on the sides and bottom, but not on top. There is only an elastic band on top that holds the laptop in place.
Although the manufacturer's description says that this backpack can hold a 17" powerbook, I suppose it would fit -- but the top of the notebook would be against the edge of the laptop and UNPADDED. If you care about avoiding dents in your powerbook, do not order this.
On the other hand, if you have a 15" laptop and don't need a really-well insulated notebook compartment, I would recommend this bag. 16" is just borderline. It has a comfy gel padding on the back and a sporty look.

Good looking, comfortable, holds lotsastuff, but too fragileBad news: I went through two of these in six months, the second very nicely provided as a replacement for the first by Kensington for free. They both ripped out at one of the outer seams in the main non-padded compartment. I have a haul of a commute via bus and NYC subway and the bag got shoved around a lot. The exposed seams tend to snag on any available sharp surface and rip out.
Be nice to it and this could be a good bag, but if you need a bag that can be abused, stay away.
one of the best values out thereHolds an unbelievable amount of stuff. Unfortunately, it is awkward to use (though it fits under the seat on a plane, getting stuff out of it is much harder than a side-zip computer case I use now).
Also, it looked quite sharp--not quite a professional briefcase that you'd carry into a courtroom, but far easier to commute with than an old shoulder-slinger computer case.
The stowaway backpack straps are great--except when you're wearing a business suit, or a jacket, in which case they're annoying to use and I'd stick with the shoulder strap. My strap split after a few months of constant use, but was easily replaced.
Protection for the laptop is a little understated--the shoulder strap slipped and the backpack fell to the ground one time, shattering my old Toshiba's screen. You've been warned...
Finally, even the most ergonomic backpack is still a backpack--do you really want to carry 15-20 pounds on your back when you could wheel it on the ground? The extra expense for a roller is well worth it; don't believe me? Carry this bag fully loaded for a few years like I did and you certainly will. But as an interim bag, it isn't bad at all...
The perfect carrying case!

Well worth the money
Good Value, Good memory-if your computer is extremely picky about RAM, this is NOT NOT NOT the way to go. You may need to use something like the more expensive HyperX
The Best Memory AvailableI also tested others brands but with no good results.
It was a simple solution to upgrade, but watch out, don't make a mistake with the brand. Take this one!
Simply, a great product!

May be incompatible with certain systems.
Doesn't work with new CF cards(The reader works fine with my 25x Transcend 512mb card, which was made almost 2 years ago.)
Good value drive for file transfersOnce you plug the drive in, four new drive letters are added, one for each memory card slot. The Lexar drive has the same problem of all drives of this type in that the computer does not indicate which drive letter has the compact flash and which drive letter has the other media. But since the drive designations are the same each time you plug the Lexar drive into your computer, you can learn which is which. The first time that I plugged the Lexar drive into my XP computer, the computer kept telling me that I had added new drives which was a bit annoying. However, this only happened the first time and I have had no problems since.
I chose this Lexar drive due to its being USB 2.0. My current computer does not have a USB 2.0 port, but my next computer will and so I wanted to plan ahead. Windows gives me a warning that I have plugged a high speed device into a slower USB port, but it works just fine, just at the slower speed. (I can only vouch for how the drive works with XP. I don't know how well it works with other operating systems).
Overall, a great little drive to transfer files. I would recommend it to anyone with a digital camera or anyone who wants to transfer large data files between computers.
The main reason it hasn't turned out to be a device I use everyday is because the cap keeps falling off. I have to keep it in its own pocket in my bag because otherwise the cap gets lost. Also, I found it popped open once (exposing my SD card) which really concerned me. The other reason I don't use it all the time is that it's so big, I have to connect it to a short USB extension cable to fit it into a USB port alongside other devices. (But a short USB cable was included -- very nice.)
Rather than being indispensible, this device turned out to just be my backup card reader. Usually I just use my SimpleTech Mini FlashLink for a card reader, which is a sturdier and simpler card reader (even though it's not USB 2.0.)
