Magically Hopeless
- Very poor Image quality ..infact no image ..you need be very intutive to understand that it's your image.
- I wasted lot of time in installing the required drivers

Be smart don't go for this, even when it's given FREE !!!

Do not even bother considering this camera.
I bought this camera primarily as an inexpensive security device for my apartment, and secondarily to take snapshots to send to various people. The camera is a complete disappointment.

1. Unless you have three or more high-wattage bulbs burning in the room, your picture quality will consist of lovely dim shadowy objects.

2. When you *do* succeed in making a snapshot, the image is either so tiny it does no good, or it is nearly as pixelized as an old Commomore 64c or Atari game. This is unsatisfactory for showing your Internet friends what you look like or showing your parents your new nose-ring.

3. The security function works...sort of. It takes pictures when it detects motion or on a set timed interval that you can vary (1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, etc.), but working *with* the images after capture is frustrating. The program crashes randomly when trying to view the images within the program, and when viewed using Windows Explorer, for some reason the image quality suffers even more than usual. Occasionally, I would set the camera to watch the front door area overnight, and it would simply stop after about twenty minutes. No computer problems, no Windows problems. The program simply glitched...multiple times.

If you buy this camera, email me and I shall pray for your deliverance from its nasty impish ways.

Sláinte...

hmm... I wonder if the factory settings are off.
I was pleasantly surprised with quality of this camera. Picture quality is awesome. also display perfect skin tone. I've used quickcam, quickcamVC, logitechs, and Veo in the past. this one is the best one so far. I clicked on camera default button and picture turned all red and dark. but I went to advanced setting; set "AWB Speed" to "medium" and "Light Source" to "Overall". It's now back to normal. (give it 10 seconds to auto balance to work if you are using it with yahoo messenger)
I couldn't believe the reviews I was reading from amazon and circuit city that this camera is so bad. So I checked manufacturer website if they make different model. but this was only model they are making.
If you haven't returned your camera. give it another shot by downloading new software(4/17/03) or change the settings to the above. I'm switching all my existing web cams with this model.

Kensington 61695 Z Lock can get stuck in your drive
I bought several of these items made for my floppy drives, one or two worked fine, but the 3rd, I had to nearly distroy my floppy to get the Kensington out of the drive, it stuck and would'nt turn to open. I finally had to take a pair of pliers and break the Kensington off to be able to turn the wire rod to remove it from my floppy drive.
I DON'T Reccomend this item to anyone who values their floppy drives.

Tungsten E covers
The Tungsten E comes with a vinyl screen cover which wears out after 3 months of frequent use. Unfortunately, Palm does not make replacements available. The cases offered do not allow the Tungsten E to be placed into an hot-sync cradle for information updates for MercuryMD or Patient Keeper systems. Thus, if you a physician contemplating use of these systems, I would NOT recommend a Tungsten E even though it is otherwise a very nice PDA

Good, not great.
I bought this together with my Palm Tungsten T3. Initially, this seemed like the perfect case. I appreciated the rugged design, quality construction, compact dimensions, and excellent fit of the T3 (even with the screen extension opened).

One immediate dislike was Palm's use of Velcro to keep the PDA secure. You must stick the supplied self-adhesive Velcro strip across the back of your PDA, covering the attachment point for the original suede flip-over cover. Your PDA then "sticks" to the Velcro lining inside the right side of the case. For a Palm-brand PDA going into a Palm-brand case, PalmOne should have implemented a less cheap and generic attachment method.

After a weeks' use, I discovered a few more shortcomings. The case's edge partially blocks the IR port, card slot, and stylus, making it difficult (but not impossible) to use your PDA while in the case. The business/credit card holders are extremely shallow and tight, almost too tight for even a single credit card. Worst of all, if you keep an expansion card in the case's pocket for it, with the case closed, the card gets firmly pressed into your PDA's screen.

This is a quality case for the price, offering good protection for your PDA. Unfortunately, it contains several design flaws.

Great inexpensive case
This is a good, low-cost case with ample protection for your Palm. The outer shell is fairly rigid and can take some abuse. I trimmed the velcro provided slightly to allow the speaker hole on the Tungsten E to remain uncovered, and it still has enough coverage to solidly hold the Palm in place.

It's a four instead of a five star for me since there is only storage for two SD cards - I have four now and I'm using one of the credit card slots for additional storage. The zipper also continues far into the covered spine of the case, and it is possible to get the zipper pull trapped in there(although one is more likely to do that out of curiosity than accident)

MAJOR ISSUES--Do not Buy!!
There are significant issues with this combo, attributed to the new internal architecture and reduced power. The card is also new, and has some issues. The connection is constantly dropping off, even in close proximity. To date, Linksys is not being helpful. Rather buy the separate base and card for about $10-$20 more.

Buy a real Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Route and card instead
The router in this package is based ona completely different chipset than the Linksys WRT54G router. The router in this package only has one antenna which severly limits the usable range. Each change to the router configuration will require a 10 second 'reboot' of the router. This gets to be very annoying after a few changes.
It will only cost about $10 more to get the real WRT54G and PCMCIA card and it will be well worth the extra $10. I'm not sure what Linksys is trying to achieve by selling this combo with a such a crappy router. They should package the regular WRT54G with the PCMCIA card and offer a discount, instead they put this piece of crap router in with the regualr PCMCIA card and try to pass it off as a good deal. Shame on you Linksys. You will ruin your good reputation with this router.

Super Fast !!!!
I received the Linksys Wireless-G kit last week, had it working in just a few minutes (just follow the instructions). Works great !! Much faster than the 802.11-b which I have used in the past. Also, this is a great price, and delivery was free and quick !!! Thanks.

One Dinky Case, not worth your money
I ordered it for my Clie NR-80V but when I received it I was surprised by it's look. Poor quality product by SONY for it's price. I don't know how this product was released by SONY. If I had seen it in a store I would have not gone near to it at all. Anyway I am returning this dinky PDA case.

Not Practical
This is not worth the money, because 1st you pay all that money you want people to see your new PEO. Then If you are in a hurry you can not get to the buttons to activate the PEO, just not practical.

Protects my Clie from the minefield inside my purse
Plenty of padding to keep my Clie safe from the hazards that lurk inside my handbag. I grab it several times a day and the velcro closure is easy to get in and out of .

Poor performance, rude tech support
This device never performed adequately on the laptop I originally bought it for, a Pentium MMX166 with Zoomed Video, 96 MB RAM, and running Windows 95. This was within the requirements, but only just. Still, it performed VERY poorly (probably showed about 2-3 FPS, at best).

I bought a much newer laptop, a Pentium III 500 MhZ with 320 MB RAM and 4 GB VRAM: way, way above the requirements. Worked marginally in Windows 2000, but XP did not like the driver when I updated. Tried several different drivers off their confusing download page, no luck.

So I call their tech support. The guy starts spitballing stuff at me ('try this driver', 'try that driver'), clearly at random. I had turned off AutoPlay, which I've heard can cause problems, and turned off digital audio. These had both improved the play of DVD's, but not much. He never even mentioned these steps. I politely asked for the issue to be escalated, he began screaming at me, inexplicably accusing me of demanding a new driver (which I never did, though it's not a bad idea), and hung up in my face. I called back, got the same guy, he again began screaming at me, told me there wsa no one but him working at EXP, called me a fool, and hung up on me.

So, if you enjoy being screamed at, lied to, abused, and personally insulted, you can hang around with my ex-fiancee, or you can buy a product from EXP. Both are about equally painful.

BIGGEST PIECE OF GARBAGE
This slow, loud, very tempermental portable dvd player is not worth the aggrevation of purchasing it. The box it came in was more usefull to me than the DVD player. It is slow and was dropped once from a bed to the floor and then refused to work which was ok with me cause when it did actually work it was sluggish and had a mind of its own, if it liked a particular sceen in a movie it would play it over and over again or just freeze up or the sound would not be in sync with the movie, like watching the old chinese karate movies. I finaly ate my losses and threw it across the room. My advice take the [money] and buy something nice for your special someone, not on this piece of crap.

Took a Chance and its Better than I've Thought!
This portable DVD player is very light weight and easy totransport. The installation was flawless. This DVD player performanceis awesome. I've tried other well-known brands, but this one have a better price and better performance in video and audio.

Recommendation: Strong Buy END

No drivers
It is was great controller, in 1999. Sadly Gravis offers no updated drivers for this product. It is worthless if you are running Windows XP

Not Compatable
This gamepad does Not work on all Notebooks. Nowhere in their marketing material do they mention this. I have two different Sony Vaio notebooks and neither would except it. Contacted Gravis Customer Support and they verified it was not compatable with Sony...

Great for laptops!
The Stinger has a great feel, was very easy to install (for a technical person like me). The ten buttons work well, and it has powerful software included. With the Exterminator software, it can emulate almost any kind of joystick or even a mouse, and all the buttons are programmable to any combination of keys. The ultimate controller for games, as Gravis pulls through with a great companion to every game!

Critique
This card is functional if you are completely new to wireless technology and do not plan on using encryption. It installs fine under Microsoft Windows 9x, ME, XP Pro, and NT. However, there were a number of problems with this card.

One: Linux drivers that work with this card are extremely hard to come by. The only way you are going to make this card work under Linux is either by getting extremely lucky and finding some support or getting the rare linux distro that has the card supported by default.

Two: The GUI for the card that runs under windows is a horrible system hog, takes forever to get commands through, and keeps getting blocked by my firewall when it tries to contact microsoft.com. Shutdown the monitor program and all this goes away.

Three: The card itself is inefficient. Running at maximum power it still has horrible range. The maximum distance I got out of this card was 27.2m from the hub. In comparison, the other card I have (a Linksys USB 801b) gets a range of 52.1m.

In all, the only reason I would recommend this card is if you want to set up a hassle-free wireless network unders microsoft windows, and you don't mind sacrificing everything to expediency.

Not worth the trouble
I tried 3 brands of wireless cards, and the only one I had trouble with was the network everywhere NWP11B. The card would not connect to three different networks. Got a warranty replacement, and the second card will sometimes connect.

This card is missing an important feature - you can't set the WEP encryption key using a passphrase. Better brands will let you use ASCII text, (your dog's name or some other phrase) to generate the 64 or 128 bit key. Even with the new firmware, this card requires you to translate the passphrase into hexadecimal, and then type in a 26 digit number. Twice.
This is not fun, especially because the card often will not connect, and you will be typing this number in over and over.
Unless you are good at memorizing 26 digit hexadecimal numbers, buy something else.

Works great and very affordable!!
I bought this card as a combo with the wireless-B broadband router for about $80 - great deal. It worked great right out of the box. Took about 2 minutes to setup and it gets a strong signal through a few rooms. I don't use the WEP security features but it works great just to get on the internet. Highly recommended for basic internet use.

Bad buy...
Truly a poorly designed case:

* no syncing in cradle with case
* not all parts are leather; the essential part that holds the Palm in place
is made out of plastic
-> far too narrow, does not bend enough
* once my Palm was in there, I could hardly get it out again

I was not happy with this buy !

Didn't protect well, came apart
This won't protect your PDA in your pocket, and it doesn't allow you to synch it in a cradle. Furthermore, I took it in and out of the case a couple times and it was already coming apart. Oh, and it was well-nigh impossible getting anything in and out of the pockets.

It would be nice if someone would make a good Tungsten T case that really protected the PDA, and didn't leave holes for lint.

Works good for me.
I just got this case for my palm despite the 2 "bad" reviews it got on Amazon. I personally think the case is really nice. it holds the palm nicely and gives it way more protection than the silly plastic cover that came with my TT. I have had no problems with it and continue to have no problems. I did experiance a little trouble with the slits in the case for cards but realised it was my own stupidity and realising you have to slip it "up" into the slit and not "down" into it. it's a well designed an well made good looking case. Only downside is you do have to remove it from the case to hotsink it. but thats Palms fault for not designing more clearance into the synk base. but for that little detail I give it a 4 not a 5
