But it's actually one of the better ones I've run into. It doesn't try to snap shut on you when you open it, the handle on the side is nice for carrying, and the little pocket, while generally useless, is big enough to stick something in there. I haven't had any major scratching problems with the case, and it's held up pretty well. A good buy.

This case is a very cool deal. While maybe it's not the best around, but it comes pretty handy when you're on the outdoors or camping.

It offers a good protection for your CD player and stuff (really, i've dropped it enough times to realize that...)

This bag is great. The main compartment and smaller zippered pocket hold my laptop (14" screen), cables, and a slim spiral binder without any problem. I even managed to wedge my Game Boy Advance in there on a business trip. It has copious amounts of padding, a fully adjustable--though a bit prone to twisting--shoulder strap, and a little handle so you can carry it briefcase-style (if shoulder-bags aren't your scene). The Velcro fastener is mammoth so you should have no worries about the bag staying closed, just watch your sweaters around it. My favorite thing about the bag is its unique look. They nylon (?) exterior is black and olive green, with light brown/khaki piping. It stands out nicely from the sea of boxy, black, company-issue laptop bags/briefcases you see so many of. The only potential drawback is its small size (and this isn't the bag's fault, but my own for not thinking to buy a larger one). It really is just big enough for a laptop and a couple of small things. I normally carry a coffee cup, my lunch, a book, and lots of other stuff with me so now I have to carry two bags--the laptop sleeve and my old courier bag. I'm considering upgrading to one of Crumpler's larger bags (the "Very Busy Man" bag looks nice) so I can go back to one bag that holds everything.

In all, I really like the Crumpler laptop sleeve. Why my company didn't give me a case when they issued me a laptop is beyond me, but at least it gave me an opportunity to pick my own. This one is very cool.

Our family recently took a 3 1/2 week trip to Ireland with two digital cameras using different memory cards. Using the Picture Pad combined with the (optional) card input adapter, we were able to download our photos every night, creating unique file names by date and then reusing the formatted memory cards the next day. We arrived home with over two thousand photos and had used about 12% of the 30 gb harddisk. It's a pretty simple device, but exactly met our needs for photo storage.

I bought this for my new Mac a few months ago, and was a little nervous about installing it, but it worked like a charm. Just opened up the side door and slipped it in - make sure it is seated firmly. I downloaded the instructions from the Apple site, but it was really very easy. I did this before I turned the Mac on for the first time. It recognized it right away and I have never had any trouble with it at all.
