Toner cartridges work as well as original Apple units and prints more than twice as many pages at about half the price. Slight problem with shipping, but Toner Connection answered my eMail within hours and straightened out the problem immediately. Will buy from this dealer again.

Easy to use address label.

If you've had a computer for at least 10-15 years, you've probably thrown away your share of printers and CPUs. How often have you had to toss a cable. ( shure maybe those gray crusty ones ) This cable will never crust over nor pull out at the D-sub !! Give the kid your old computer but KEEP YOUR CABLE.

This is a great automated CD duplicator that prints right on the surface of the CD-R (you have to buy special printable CD-Rs which are slightly more expensive than regular CD-Rs). The ink jets seem to last a long time so once you're set up with printable CD-Rs you can go for a long time duplicating the disks. The Bravo gives reports on the ink level after every job and so far it looks like we'll get at least 200 on these first double ink cartridges. It is very fast and you can duplicate 50 CDs at a pop, all hands off. You can also buy an attachment to increase that to 100 CDs for a pretty low price. Everything occurs inside the duplicator and you can watch through the clear cover. A robotic arm picks up a CD moves it to the CD drive and duplicates the CD in just a few minutes. The drive then opens, the arm grabs the CD and a drawer opens to accept the CD and move it to the print area. Finally it gets picked up by the arm and put in the completed stack. If a job doesn't work for some reason (bad disk) it will eject the CD out the front of the duplicator onto your floor (or lap if you're sitting watching in amazement). It's a great machine. The only glitch we found was a couple of times when the Bravo was turned on when the computer was fired up we got the blue screen of death. (Windows 2000).

This unit replaced my HP 5P laser printer and an older, much larger Sharp copier which had seen it's better days. Both of these laser functions greatly surpass my older pieces of equipment.

The scanner also works great although it did take a little practice to figure it out since I had never used one before.

I opted not to get the model with the fax since that feature doesn't seem necessary...one can scan in a document or photo and e-mail it.

After agonizing over different models and visiting the various office stores in town I'm glad I settled on this machine. It seems like a much better unit than most of the multi-function machines that include a fax and thus skimp on the copy, print, and scan functions.

Basically if you need a good scanner you probably still want to buy one. Although, if you spend less than $100 on a non CCD scanner you probably won't get anything better.

I took a stack of documents to local stores and tried probably 10 different laser copier/printer/scanner machines made by HP, Canon, Sharp, Xerox, Samsung, etc. HP's and Canon's were a little better in photo print quality, but Canon only has 2MB of non-expandable printer memory (even though up to 8MB can be used for copying). HP copied at a rate of about 2-3 pages per minute (no joke!) unless you wanted to rip off 20 copies of a single page.

Brother had the most solid machine and it actually even copies different sheets pretty close to the rate claimed. HP's had broken paper trays at most stores and Canon's seamed to always have paper jams. Samsung's were similar to Brother but they looked old and the toners were all used up at all but one of the places I went to.

I don't have anything bad to say about my Brother other than the scanner isn't great for making scans of photos. The scanner is lightning fast though for OCR type grayscale scanning.

This machine is a work horse. We have purchased two of these for our large office and find these machines to be one of the better deals out there. One big plus is that we can use up all the extra toner cartridges from our old HP 4050's, both machines use the same catridge! Other than that, we are sticking with the brother line because of speed and price. Finally someone is comeing out with bettter machines for less $$. The one year express exchange waranty is makes this a no brainer.

I have had laserprinters since 1990. Recently I was on the market to buy a new one and I found the Brother 5150D. What a great printer. 21 PPM, 250-page paper tray, double-side printing, PCL6 and Postscript 3, USB 2.0 for US$ 280? The quality of printing is very good. Recommended.

This is the perfect add on to round out the solid 1650 printer. It makes printing on multiple stocks of paper a breeze and works flawlessly with the printer. This is my first Brother printer after being a dedicated HP person for years. But in terms of value, quality, design, operation and reliabilty I am a true Brother convert. For some reason every time HP comes up with a good machine they discontinue it just when I need a new printer with its features. Then a friend recommended trying a Brother and I reluctantly did so to find out the Brother blows away the competition in ease of use, great practical design, and much more printer for your money. No, I don't work for Brother. This is just a great printer for the office (or Home office)- and the second tray is a must to derive the full benefits of this machine.

I SEND AND RECIEVE ABOUT 50-60 PAGES A DAY EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK MY FAX IS ABOUT 2 YEARS OLD AND STILL GOING LIKE NEW BROTHER MADE THERE BEST MULTIFUCTION MACHINE WITH THIS ONE IT WILL BE HARD TO TOPA 6-1, MACHINE FOR THIS PRICE WITH THIS KIND OF REALIBILITY IS HARD TO FIND
