This cartridge has a pretty high capacity. I've used it with my CX6400 printer/scanner/copier for the past 3 weeks and it's held through and I still have about 3/4 of the ink left and I've printed a lot of things. Recommended from this site verses a place like Best Buy, who charge $12.99, whereas Amazon charges only $10.79.

Hey, it's just a toner cartridge, but why not review it? Since replacing my old one my prints have been crisp and clean. No complaints here.

It may not be fast, but it is very reliable. I use it every day.

i was looking for some paper that i could use for my computer so i could make some stickers and every where i went it cost like $20! but this is the best its onle $14 and it comes with 15 sheets if your looking for some paper get this trust me!

It's true that you can get a decent desktop pc...these days. But that usually means (at best) 256 mb ram, 40 gb hard drive, a modest pentium 4 processor and a big ol' crt-monitor that takes up a lot of space on your desk. However, if you invest a little more you can end up with the Gateway 500x with 512 mb ram, a 120 gb hard drive (I axed the printer and upgraded the hard drive instead), P4 2.53 ghz processor and a sweet 17" flat panel monitor. I've had my 500x for a few months now and absoultely love it. If my buddy Renato were here he'd give you all the overly in-depth technical details, but he's not so here's the deal in laymen's terms: Unless you're a heavy (and I stress heavy) duty gamer or do tons of video editing, the 500x has more than enough muscle to meet your everyday computing needs (and then some), including web surfing and downloading all your favorite images, movie and sound clips. Both the cd and dvd drives have worked flawlessly for me. I work with multiple applications open at all times (including those that are known to be resource hogs) and have had zero reliablity problems with virtually no notice of speed degradation. Everything about this machine has been rock solid and it performs tasks at a blindingly fast speed. The sound system and video graphics are great. For the price and quality, you could do a heck of a lot worse than the Gateway 500x (and not that much better).

Hewlett Packard C3967A Print Drum by Hewlett Packard is a very creative invent to support drummers thru printers.

The HP DDS-3 tapes are head and shoulders above the rest in my opinion. I've actually changed the Media Recognition on these to make them look like DDS-4 and they work fine (except they are 125m instead of 150m). Don't try this on your own; I just say it to illustrate the fine grade of tape, since they will even read back the denser DDS4 standard.

I've used most all brands too. Maxell, Fuji, Sony, Imation, and the HP of course. Stay away from Sony, maybe it's just my drive though. Other brands ok; HP the best.

Very fast 17 Pages per minute, great looking output at 1200 DPI, even better with the optional Ethernet 10/100 HP JetDirect 600N internal card. This printer is great as a shared network printer, or for users with large volumes of printing.

Only problem I've found is that if you are going to be printing large 1200 DPI graphics (like Photos), you will need to upgrade the memory from the base 8 MB of ram. As an alternative you could switch to 600 DPI instead, but the picture quality is reduced.

After looking and trying printers for several months we selected the HP 8100 series with open arms. The printer runs like a machine twice its size, quite simply it flys! No matter what job we threw at the machine it worked. The unit we purchased had the duplex unit installed, and it had not faulted, a lot more than could be said for our copier doing a equivelent load. In actual fact our copier has been relegated to the junk stuff, and people scan and copy from their desktop.

A great buy!
