This Yellow Toner is great! It reproduces colors of our printouts with complete accuracy. If you need soft yellows-you get them. If you need strong yellows-you get them too. Even where you might have varying degrees of yellows in the same print it captures just what you need.

We also ntoice that where yellows are next to other strong colors, such as deep blues, reds or greens, it does not bleed into the neighboring color. Crisp is the one word that comes to mind.

The price of this product is the same as your basic store on the street/in the malls, even without the tax. The price is several dollars higher than many of the other online shopping sites, especially after adding on your regular shipping costs. I have the 2500cxi printer. The ink system is great. You get a pre-warning about low ink levels, and the printer will stop when one of the 4 separate #10 cartridges runs out of ink. At that time you can replace it and the printer will continue printing at the same point it stopped. (You also get a pre-warning when one of the printheads needs replacing.) However, one reviewer mentioned that the system tells you on the screen the exact ink levels. Unless I missed it, I have not been able to access this feature from my printer software.

This cartridge is worth the extra money over its more economical version: It lasts longer and prints more cleanly, and can better handle delicate imagery. A good investment for home customers; in our house, under moderate use, it lasts about six months. In this case, the name brand is worth the extra bucks. Don't go with a cheaper imitation, not even from HP itself.

Installation and configuration of this printer was easy and took less than 45 minutes from the time I started unpacking until I was printing.

I have extensive networking experience, yet I doubt a novice home user will have problems following the clear directions if this printer is installed as a shared device on a home LAN. I'm using an SMC wireless router with 4 switched Ethernet ports, so it was almost plug and play for me. I did have to set an address, but the instructions were clear and well illustrated.

The hardest part was installing the toner cartridges, but even that task was relatively simple if you take your time and follow directions to the letter.

Installing the management software and drivers is as simple as inserting a CD ROM and accepting defaults.

This printer produces beautiful prints in color and is blazingly fast. There is one area where it does not meet H-P's claims, and that is where the specs claim that with the instant-on fuser you will be printing your first page in as little as 18 seconds. It's more like 120 seconds or more. However, that is still better than the older models where it took as long as five minutes for the printer to warm up and start printing.

Overall, this is a great printer that produces amazing results in the highest resolution settings. The price is right, and the fact that it is network ready is a definite plus.

If you need a color laser printer and want one that anyone can install and operate with no hassles or reading through complicated manuals, this is a great deal.

Pros:
- Easy to install. Expandable memory.
- Print quality is excellent.
- Fast and quiet for an economy color laser.
- Prints excellent color photos much cheaper than inkjet.

Cons:
- Be ready for size shock, it's big.

We just printed 4' x 10' maps of a 280 acre festival venue with this printer. It had to be done in two pieces - 2ft wide - but it was easy, cheap, pretty quick considering the size and it came out beautifully. We've been beating the heck out of this printer making posters and handbills and trifold handouts and etc. In short, any job that was too big for an 8 1/2 x 11/14/17/whatever but too short a run to go out for commercial printing. Or too unique to afford commercial printing -- like this giant map. Printing large graphics at hi-resolutions does soak up the ink, and there's 8 large cartridges in this machine(!), but it still gets high marks for convenience and efficiency for the short or unusual runs. Recommended.

I have owned ONLY HP printers, and bought this one at a Thanksgiving sale because it was cheap. I was surprised at how much I've come to enjoy this little mighty-might!

It prints every bit as well as my stand-alone HP 952C, and about as fast. But it's the scanning, copying and faxing that are really cool.

Copies at 'normal' and 'best' are all but stunning. (Try a dollar bill!) Scanning OCR software is POOR, however. If you want the real thing, get a good OCR disk such as Omni Page Pro, and it's a breeze! And the fax machine? Well, I never thought I'd need it, but I've used it and loved it! The machine will even use the one line your phone is on, and NOT tie it up! Coolâ€"fax and phone on the same line!

Lastly, the card readers that are built into the unit enabling you to load from any digital camera and print a test sheet while bypassing your computer. I haven't used this, but I will.

All in all, the HP 950 is the HP 750 with a fax machine and card reader. It prints and copies wonderfully, and scans photos much better than text. It also has every fine-tuning feature you could possibly want, and seems to paper-jam LESS than any HP I’ve owned--even using cheap copy paper!

Though replaced with the 2110 series, if you can find it at the price I did, BUY IT!

This is the fastest print server from in the box to printing my first page ever. I started with one, along with three other brands of print servers. Now DirectJet is my ONLY print server. I have three 175x alone. None compare on any brand printer you may use. Well worth the extra cost.

This unit replaces a ten-year old printer. The HP site had a tool that recommended the 2300 as a replacement for the old 4P. If the 2300 performs as well, I'll be blessed. Early indicators are this unit is a winner. The print quality is fantastic. The output is quick. Install was easy. The features are better than the old unit.
I spent the extra money for HP reliability. I just can't skimp with my home office set up because work interruptions would be more expensive than I can stand.
I have no time or patience for paper jams, streaking or tech support calls. Need it all to work flawlessly all the time. HP rocks!

I wanted a printer to replace an ageing Laser printer [300dpi, a dinosaur, yes I know.] and I have always bought HP.

My wife suggested that I get an automatic double side printer , she had a HP at work that was very good and the double side printing was a godsend.

Automatic Double sided printing? Definitely a MUST have. No more manual feeds and Ooops.. wrong side....

Networked to boot!...what a bonus since I have a network at home.

Egad! No reviews posted...ok..time to take the plunge and buy one....

...and I have NOT regretted it! The printer is FAST, quiet! And the out put is superb! Who cares how powerful your computer is? At the end of the day, you are only as good as the printout and this is EXCELLENT! 1200 dpi every time!

The on board 48MB is fantastic. Set up was a breeze. Set the printer in your software program such as word to double side printing and voila! Clean, crisp 'automatic duplexing' HP calls it. I say AT LAST!

The controls are simple and the display is nice and bright. The printer is always on but no matter, it automatically goes to SLEEP after a period of non-use and instantly 'wakes up' when you send a file to print, be it from the scanner, word or other program. In sleep mode, the display goes of leaving a small green light on.

It has been 5 months and it has worked beautifully. One can even get a print out of how many copies have been jammed [ so far NONE], printed, single or double sided, type of media used [ size and type of paper, envelope etc] this is especially great for an office to keep track of unauthorized usage of the system]

The finish, quality and function of the printer are first class, superb! Buy it, you will well pleased!
