We were looking for a good hard-working printer for our reports and invoices. We had some Epsons and HP dot matrix printers but both were kind of expensive because of its maintenance. We decided to try this printer and certainly we love it from the first time we use it. We were very impressed and we decided to retire our old Epsons and HP and replace them for these printers. We've been working with them for more than 6 years and we have more than 20 all around our offices and only we had to replace 1 printer head on all this years. Maybe the only con we have detected is that the ribbons are not too easy to find in some places. You have to check that on your own location.

This product is well designed right down to the packaging. Even the diagrams printed on the box are excellent. At $307, this was by far the cheapest duplex, network printer I could find. Mine arrived with one loose roller that I slid back into place when I noticed it as I was thoroughly going over it before plugging it in. The toner and drum kit had been opened and resealed, probably refurbs or refills. It has an http server as well as a telnet server. The drivers allow putting 1, 2, and 4 pages per sheet. At 37 pages printed lifetime everything still seems too good to be true.

The printer set up very quickly and easily on a Netgear print server (this one can be shared on a network unlike it's sibling Kx-p7100). For a duplex printer it is very compact and doesn't need access around it or behind it. It prints duplex flawlessly and has a great feature that shrinks the pages down to 4 pages on a side or with the duplex 8 pages total on each page. It's a great way to save paper to review rough drafts. I did have an initially bad start when the printer was jamming all the time with 28lb laser paper; but after switching to cheaper 20lb copy paper it hasn't jammed once. A great value (I considered the cheapest HP duplex printer but it was almost twice as much and a lot bigger in size and I don't think it has the great shrink-down-to-4-pages-on-a-side feature).

Great toner for a great printer, provides excellent graphical and text output, great price, staples prices is 49.99, ive had this printer for 10 years and its as good as day one, and u get at least 3000 out of this toner unlike inkjet printers where your lucky if u get 600 pages of outputs for those overpriced things!!

This little Xerox Phaser 3400 Is faster and prints much better then any of the 4000 series HP printers currently on the market. As an HP owner and now a Xerox Phaser 3400 owner i can say the Xerox performs faster and with better quality then the HP's and at a much lower price.

I use a Psion 5mx and a Series 7 extensively as a physician using ChartNotes. In the office, I print out patient notes via PsiWin and the linked printer via my desktop. In the hospital, however, or elsewhere, I can print out patient notes, or any document I choose, directly to any available printer, using the Parallel Printer link and the accompanying printer drivers in the Psion, freeing me from the need to lug around a small, expensive, slow portable printer. The Parallel Printer cable fits in my pocket, and can be attached to any printer with a parallel port instantly for immediate printing, making the 5mx or S7 even more versatile. Essential for mobile computing with a Psion!

I've been using Canon printers for a long time now. Recently, I started printing photos on my new printer. The quality of the prints is wonderful when you use Canon Photo Paper Pro. The picture looks like it's professionally developed. However, the blue was darker on the picture than it's suppose to be. I don't know what's going on with that. Anyway, the ink dries fast to leave a smudge-free finish on plain paper and on photo paper.

easy to install and it has beautiful colors that dry quickly, i highly recommend it!

I'm a graphics designer and a colleague recommended that I try Rhinotek ink. I was not disappointed-in fact I was thrilled with the color saturation. I found this ink to be superior to Epson and I saved money. Thanks, Amazon for making it so easy to buy.
