Sharp AL-80TD toner
I went to all the office supply stores and could not find this product. I was about to panic as my little red triangle light was blinking. I found the product at this site, but was a bit skeptic because it said ships within 1-2 weeks. I did not know how much toner I had left, since I had never ran out before. I was amazed at how quickly the product arrived (1 week), particularily since I placed my order just prior to the tragedy in NYC. I will only shop here for future items for my copies.

The Best Deal
3 out of 3 office supply stores in my area told me the deal I got here can not be matched.

What a deal!!! Best anywhere....
I have looked everywhere for this Sharp toner....It makes great copies and it lasts forever!!!!! Amazon is the only place to buy this item you will not be let down....

Comparison Results - Xerox is the best!
I compared 4 color printers in the $$ range. Cannon, Epson, HP and Xerox. Hands down, the best bang for the buck according to tech spec's is Xerox. From its print quality to the super quite operation the Xerox M760 is the best deal going!

At work I have access to a Cannon S600 (aprox. $$$ more than the Xerox M760) color printer and an HP Laserjet. The tech spec's for the S600 state that it prints B/W at 600x600... well... maybe. I have printed the same photo on both the S600 and the M760 using the same photo quality paper and no one that has compared the results can see a difference. My M760 I use at home prints, by far, better B/W than the S600. B/W text is nearly as crisp and clear on the M760 as the HP Laserjet.

With photo quality paper and the printer set to best quality, 8"x10" photos print as good as prints from a local photo shop.

Buy it, you will be happy with the quality of the prints and the super quite operation.

works great
By far the best printer we have for the money. Easily out performs our hp's that we have.

Great Performance for the Price!
I've used both Epson and HP's. Epson's high end printers do great photo's but are horrible with text, and HP's text is great but lacks photo quality. This is a great middle of the road printer. The speed is incredible w/4MB of onboard memory it takes the load of your computer. It automatically shuts itself off when not in use, and as soon as you hit Print it comes back online. For the price it easily out does Epson's or HP's in the same price range, Easy to set-up, out of the box ready to go in less than 15 min. Seperate ink tanks, only pay for what you use! Epson's new machines won't let you refill the cartridges or use any other brand but Epson print cartridges in them. Great color reproduction, doesn't soak the peice of paper with ink either. Would totally recommend for anybody, for the price.

Great cable
When it comes to standard parallel printer cables, Belkin is unbeatable. I can almost hear the printer control characters dashing from one end of this 15-foot charmer to the next. And the connectors! Absolutely beautiful. One end fits in your printer, the other -- into your PC. One, two, and, you're done. All that's left is to step back and admire your handiwork. I needed this cable because the old one wasn't long enough. The generous 15 feet of this Belkin standard parallel printer cable was exactly what I needed. If you are in need of a standard parallel printer cable, and you have a gap of about 15 feet between your PC and printer, I can unequivocally recommend this Belkin F2A036-15 Standard Parallel Printer Cable by Belkin Components.

Parallel Printer Cables win in the LONG run!
If you have a printer that is more than 5 feet away from your printer, (and lets face it, who doesn't!!!) then this is the product for you. My new Laser Printer from the folks at Samsung came equiped with ports for both a serial and USB 2 connection. Being that USB 2 is supposedly the superior performance wire, I thought, what would be better suited for my Laser Printer. I was wrong. You really do not need a USB cable at in, in fact if the only USB ports are in the front of your computer, it yields a whole mess of wires, especially when you want it permanently connected, like with a printer. USB cable are great for transfering images and large amounts of continuous data where power and stregnth are needed. For simply sending encoded data from your computer to your printer, all you need is a simple serial port. This holds true even for laser printers and photo quality printers. Anything more is simply too much. It would be a waste of money. Do yourself a favor and get this cable so you can put your printer where you want it, where it can be as loud as it wants without being right in your ear. I highly recommend this item and do not make my mistake with the USB wires, go straight for the parallel port and go straight to AMAZON.com because if you go anywhere else you WILL pay the "other" listed price, even at the store on the corner with the guys in the blue & yellow shirts!

Great speed even with multiple devices attached
With my setup I have my printer and a zip drive running off the same cable, and since I bought this Belkin cable I havent had any problems. It is also very easy to screw and un-screw onto the computer as it has different knobs than the standard printer cable.

One nice cable
Belkin cables are the best! They have big, easy to use screws for clumsy fingers like mine, and they have a nice, professional look and feel. I use Belkin cables exclusively, when I can get them. (I am in no way affiliated with Belkin, by the way).

Trustworthy long printer cable
When your all-in-one HP T65 printer suddenly won't scan you wonder if it's the cable or the printer giving the trouble. Use this Belkin IEEE 1284 cable with its easy-to-fasten connectors and easy-to-twist posts to eliminate a non-IEEE 1284 cable as the cause. A 10 foot cable is a good length when your printer is over on a bookcase. As for my printer problem, it turned out that the parallel port on my Dell Latitude LM had developed a bad pin 1. Imagine. The cable is still going great.

It's a Cable !
Who writes reviews on these things?? Well, as long as you are buying the right cable for your PC & Printer, then this is an excellent cable.

Good Cable
I got a good deal at Amazon.com, With free shipping it makes it worthwhile. The Same Cable is thirty bucks in the retail store. It looks very sturdy and doesnt flop around. It has a cool translucent look. It is braided. The contacts are of solid quality.

Great Deal
...This is a very good quality cable. It has a very nice fell to it. The braided sleeve gies it a "stay" not seen with the rubber sleeve cables.
I do not see the logic in spending a lot of money on cables. There are cheaper ones on Amazon.com, but ony this was eligible for the free shipping. I was familiar with how it looked since I had shopped for it in the retail store. With the free shipping (& no taxes) this is an excellent deal.

Excellent Printer
This is a fabulous printer. I purchased it back in October, and I waited until I put some use on it before adding a comment. It is reliable, quiet, and sturdy, with a reasonable footprint for a laserprinter, smaller and less expensive than the HP 2200's. It has handled home office tasks reliably. The duplex feature works well and I love how it powers down and jumps back to service when it is called upon. We are using it with a family of Macintosh computers over a home wireless to router to cable network, and happily printing from all reaches of the house. Compared with less expensive hp's such as the 1200 series, this printer is worth the extra money for a real networked printer with no dangling trays or clipped-on ethernet connectors. It is a great choice.

A Superb Laser Printer
I looked into several printers under $1000 before deciding on the Brother 1870N. This is a solid, quality printer. The instructions for set up are very thorough and easy to understand. I was able to set up the printer over a network within minutes after unpacking it. Both the manual tray and cassette tray worked flawlessly. The text and graphics are crisp and the built-in automatic duplex option performed beautifully. This feature is available in other brands, but you will pay a lot more! I am using this printer with a Macintosh Computer (Jaguar) and will highly recommend it to anyone interested in a new laser printer. You will pay at least $300 more on the Hewlett Packard side for the same features. This is certainly a best choice for either home office or power office printing.

Reproducing Original Watercolor Cards
My wife creates original watercolor greeting cards. These are scanned into a PC, and duplicates are printed on an inkjet printer using the Burlington Watercolor Paper. The paper's texture makes the duplicates closely resemble the originals and gives them a unique professional appearance.

Use ONLY Canon color ink tanks with Canon printers
There are several other brands that manufacture identical type color ink tanks but you should not use them. In comparison with the Canon ink tank they are conspicuously less accurate in color and lower in quality. They easily jam up the printer, costing more to repair the printer than the initial savings they provide.

While it may be safe to go with different brands for black ink, stay with this high-quality Canon ink tank for color.

Canon Genuine DOES mean better!
I have used Canon brand ink jet printers for years. I have never had any print quality problems while using Canon Genuine inks. I can't say that about "after-market" generics. In fact, I burned up two print heads before linking the generic ink to the failure. I do not use generics any more. The cost of the printhead far outweighs the "savings" using generics. Still using genuine ink, still using same printhead - no problems. Why mess up THE best inkjet printer on the market by using questionable supplies? Insist on Canon Genuine supplies!

Good price for Canon product - but watch shipping charges!
Although lower cost substitute ink cartridges are sold all over the web, and on this site as well, the few bucks you might save aren't worth the all-too genuine risks of replacing with generic "no-name" ink tanks. I've heard (but wouldn't wish to try it, frankly) that generic inks fade faster when exposed to daylight, could clog the print-head spray nozzles, don't spread properly on top-quality paper, and simply can't compare with the uniquely formulated dyes that have been specially researched for your printer and its matching photo papers. The one exception might be if you use a black-ink-only inkjet [hard to imagine anyone could screw up black ink]. I concur that printer manufacturers use that old hoary "razor trick" (give away the razor, profit on the blades), but with Canon's individual ink tanks -- where you replace only those tanks that run dry, you aren't out a lot. My Canon photo printer uses an array of six ink tank colors. Of these six tanks (all available on this site), 'photo cyan' and 'photo magenta' seem to be used up 2 to 3 times faster than 'black'. In other words, rather than replacing an entire set of six ink tanks, you can replace just those tanks that run empty the soonest -- thus not having to toss out a 3-ink tank [as used by HP] where 2 of the 3 remaining inks still are far from used up. Just a word of caution here - make certain that every cartridge you order from Amazon clearly states its eligibility for SuperSaver shipping. If you have to add shipping charges to this low-cost item, you could end up paying more than you would have at the local office supply store.
