Good quality for the money...when it works
Great value for the moneyThe copy function allows me to make single copies of documents in a cinch, and the fax function has worked well too, although you can only scan one page at a time manually.

Seriously
Junk in 27 months
It's a good printer for a cheap price. So far, no paper jams and the program runs smoothly. The best part, with most Lexmark brands, they talk!!! I love it. It tells me when it's printing and it tells me when it's done. It tells me when I need to change the printer ink and it tells me if it needs more paper. Most of all, it's very polite when I do what it asks! I get a nice "Thank You!!!"
I highly recomend this printer!!

Waste of moneyIf I can suggest, don't waste your money on this junk. I recommend Cannon because I used i470D and found the quality is very good. So go for Canon brand. My colleage tried HP. She said HP is good too.Hers is HP Photosmart 7660. I also got an HP Photosmart 7260. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it is good and much better than the Lexmark p707.
There are many better alternativesThen they built it wrong. The black ink cartridge prints a slightly faint image, the color is useful only for office-type presentations (banding is prominent and the image is fuzzy if
you use it for a photograph, and the color reproduction is extremely poor) the machine is flimsy, loud, and far slower than the rated speed. The built-in photo slots don't work too well -- the transfer speed is not nearly as good as with a standard USB card reader, and the included software is clumsy and difficult.
My HP 930c is almost as fast, quieter, and though not billed as a 'photo printer' produces better images (and much better text) print. The way printers are improving, any time a 5 year old printer is better than a brand new one, you know there's something wrong. After rebates I only paid $15 for this, and it was so disappointing that I'd have sent it back if the cost of shipping weren't equal to the cost of the printer.
Short version -- it's just barely worth having if it's free.

Worst printer I've ever used (software is horrible too!)On top of all this, the software driver acts also as a printer monitor which takes up significant system resources. The worst thing about this is when you print, or if the printer is shared and somebody else prints, there is a huge lag depending on the size of the print job, rendering the OS unusable until the printjob is completely sent to the printer. So basically, you can't use your computer for a minute or so after you hit the print button.
In short this is a very bad choice. Others I know purchased the HP printer/scanner/copier/fax and have had much better experiences.
Like Functions, but . . .
Great but Beware!
