What's GOOD: Canon MultiPASS has the perfect design, is an awesome space saver, paper has never jammed, faxing is reliable, and is basically easy to use. What's BAD: Printing is very slow, copying is very slow, I spent about 3 hours on the phone with Canon Tech Support when first installed to work out some software bugs, now about six months later, for some reason when I click the print button it does not want to print. Sometimes I have to click the print button to print a basic MS Word document a dozen times before it decides to print.

This Printer,Fax,copier, and scanner is easy to use and fast it prints like a profesional and does not take up much room!!!

If you are using OS9 you will encounter the following problem after installing the included Adobe Type Manager software: "System error type 119." Canon and Adobe are aware of this and the fix is as easy as going to adobe and downloading "Adobe Tpye Manager 4.5.2 Macintosh version" (NOT the deluxe version). At some time in the near future Canon will update the included software, but until then there is no clue about how to solve this problem in the box.

I used a MultiPass C635 for a few years with my iMac Rev. A, and other than a few hiccups in the initial driver release, which were promptly fixed in Canon's next release, the unit was very good to me for scanning, printing, and faxing. Also comes bundled with PhotoDeluxe, a very good photo editor.

While this is a great idea, it is not compatible with as many printers as I was lead to believe. The Entrega website only listed 2 Lexmark printers that were incompatible. When I receieved the product 4 more Lexmarks joined that list. Now I can add mine to the list as well. If you have a Lexmark 2030, 2050, 2070, 6000, or 7000, this converter will not work. With most other models you must disable the bi-directional communication feature of the printer, which is a valuable feature.I would suggest contacting your specific printer company before purchasing a device such as this.

WOW what a idea! It has made the problem of using my computer (that doesnt have a USB Port) much easier. Now I can pretty much buy anything i want now to use on my computer.

Epson Stylus 1160 -- I rated this a 2 because it does produce beautiful output WHEN it is working. Otherwise it deserves 0! Over the last year I have used many $$$$ print cartridges just trying to get ink to flow through the print head. After a little more than a year the printer is completely dead and print head replacement is more expensive than a new printer!! My 5 year old Alps works and family members have a 6 year old Canon and 3 year old HP which still work great. In trying to figure out how to fix the Epson my research indicates that problems with Epson ink jet printers are common.

One of the best printers made by Epson in the last few years. Is now discontinued, but still in demand by knowledgable users. Is highly praised by photographers for its crisp output, and its ability to handle 3rd party inks without problem. Also well liked for printing Black and White photographs using 3rd party "quad" inks to avoid color tints in the grays.

... I recently bought the Stylus 2200 (please read my review of it) and have found that the printing quality on Matte paper is just not as good as on photographic glossy or semi-glossy. While this cartridge does improve the color of blacks on Matte paper, the overall quality of prints on Matte is just not that good, so why bother with this if you are looking to make the best prints you can?

Due to the way inks are made Epson has found it necessary to micro-encapsulate the Photo Black ink. The reason for doing this was to allow the inks to better adhere to the glossy and semi-gloss. These same inks however will powder and rub of on other papers most notably the art type and matte. So Epson wisely created two black inks. How black these inks appear has nothing to do with which one is chosen. I measured a L value of 13.82 with my Photospectrometer not as dark as some other ink sets but still very good

The HP 2500, while a good printer, is in the midst of several quality control problems. Several problems have occurred with the 9 that we have. Ink systems reading levels incorectly, squeaking components, and slow network printing. Print quality does not appear to be a problem. However, the many bugs in these HP printers still need to be worked out. HP has acknowledged the problems and at present do not have a fix for them. However, I am sure that they will in the future. If you do not need wide paper capability, I would suggest the HP 2250TN.

So far after using for several months I've been satisfied with its performance. Easy to setup out of the box though had to install the software a couple of times before getting it to work on the network. Great for wide format B-size drawings. Ink cartridges easy to work with and ink is dry by the time the paper hits the tray. Colors are crisp and text is sharp. Quiet operation compared to laser printers. Much easier to maintain than a laser.

When I previewed this series (Laserjet series 3300) in retail stores, I was deeply impressed by just about everything this machine does, including the cost of consumables. The box and documentation indicated that it was Mac compatible. I use an iMac with OS X (10.2.4). It will not print and proper drivers are not yet available. Many web sites, including Apple's, have long discussions of people trying to get this series of printer to work with Macs and having little or no luck. It may be great for Windows machines, but it's trouble for Macs.

Don't judge this printer by a small picture shown on your screen. The printer looks so great in real. It is not a toy-sized printer, so you might need to think of your desktop space. (It is not too bulky though. Just a right size for home/small office use.) I own a small business and have been using Xerox printers. All I can say is that this printer is so much better than any laser printer that I've ever own! Very reliable, and fast. Copy function works just fine. Very nice scan area! When I first saw this printer on my screen, I thought that it was a kind of funny looking printer. But again it is not! Believe me. The printer looks great, works perfect. If you are not going to spent over $1,000 for your printer, just get this one. You will be satisfied.

Color pictures look good, but the color of black&white toned pictures is not too close to the preview (worse than some others papers).

This is one of the best printers for Home printing. I was using this when I was in India.
