I3 COLOR INKJET PRINTER 2 HEAD

Good for documents, that's about it.
I've used this printer for around 3-4 months now, it works great for printing documents. However, it is quite often a pain to print on anything other than standard paper. You must manually feed in envelopes or higher quality paper such as photo paper since it will not feed from the tray. Often times with the manual feed you will get a paper width error because it is hard to feed the paper in straight. Quality of photos from this printer are so-so. I've seen much better and also have seen worse. The compact design is pretty nice although it is quite wide and deep. Overall, this is an ok printer for an average user that just needs to print documents. I would not recommend this for anything else. I am glad I only paid ten dollars for it......

Great Compact Inkjet Printer. Connects to both TV & PC
Great Compact Inkjet Printer. Connects to both TV & PC. This printer's scanner like design allows for it to fit in small areas or up to 20 pounds to be stacked on top of it. I purchased one for my family to use to print out Web TV emails and pictures. Overall great print quality and usability. Recommended.

Kodak Premium Photo Paper-Glossy...I'm disappointed in you
I recently purchased this paper, in bulk mind you, and found myself to be very disappointed in my purchase. I love to take digital pictures and print them myself and frame them to give as gifts. Well, I bought this brand thinking it was better...but it really took forever for the ink to dry...if I waited for an hour...when I'd place it in the frame, it would look like the picture was wet against the glass. I let the picture dry out for a complete day before I could even frame it...and I think part of that to blame is the thickness of the paper. I guess I'll go back to Epson photo paper, since that one seems to work better for me.

Excellent prints with Canon i560s printer
Using my Canon i560s printer, Kodak's recommended printer driver settings, and Kodak's free software for printing, this paper produces near flawless photos. They are semi-gloss (not high-gloss like Canon's Photo Paper Plus Glossy that comes with the printer). This paper has been reformulated recently (according to the packaging) and I will continue to use it for all photos. I have been unable to get Canon's software to print accurate colors on this paper - so use Kodak's! Canon's software (Easy Photo Print) won't print accurate colors even on their own Photo Paper Plus Glossy paper (and there is no way to manually tinker with the color settings in Easy Photo Print - you can in the Kodak software via the Canon print driver). If you run a comparison, you will see that Kodak has got the color thing nailed cold and Canon does not, regardless of paper type.

The only detectable flaw I've seen in any print on Kodak's Premium Picture Paper is on photos with very dark/black areas. If you hold the print at a sharp angle in bright light (you never would unless looking for this flaw) you can see a slight decrease in the reflectivness of these really dark areas that you don't see using the Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy paper.

Nobody who has looked at my prints (except me) has noticed this flaw - so don't worry about it. By the way, I much prefer the semi-glossy nature of this paper to Canon's Photo Paper Plus Glossy which truly is so glossy it can be annoying in some lighting conditions.

The Canon i560s uses dye-based ink for printing photos. I think pigment-based ink will have different results (Canon mixes the 3 dye-based colors to produce black when printing photos, as the black cartridge is pigment based in this printer).

Fine for home, not for an office.
This is a neat little printer. It is light, so it is easy to move around. It is easy to install, and really easy to operate. The print quality is also excellent for such a small printer. It takes two cartridges, a black one and a multi-colour one.

The paper handlers slip neatly into the body of the printer when it is not in use, so it takes up very little desk space. And even when in use it is very neat. The paper holder is vertical, so it takes up no space behind the printer. So only the printed document tray is using up space as you print.

The drawback is the speed. It is very slow, especially printing a full colour document. But there has to be some drawback when you purchase anything, and for the price this is an excellent home printer. Because it is easy to use, the kids are less likely to mess with it.

If you are running an office, forget it! It is just too slow for business use.

    Good quality for the price
This is a good quality printer for a very good price.
Printing is not too fast, but I never had a problem. The software is good and runs great with Xp. Ideal for home use.

Save your money and don't bother with this item
Although you will save money when purchasing this Nectron cartridge as opposed to the original Epson cartridges, the amount of ink you will waste cleaning clogged heads as well as the wasted photo paper will more than negate the savings. These cartridges are extremely unreliable!

    best deal yet
We have been using Nectron cartridges for three years now and never have I had better luck. Not only are they a great price but the quality is outstanding. We started recommending them to friends and family ...get a good deal on a great product, it's not to good to be true.

Comparable to Epson except constant clogging
When it worked, this product is comparable to the Epson branded cartridge. The (only) one I purchased frequently clogged up. I would have to go through the printer cleaning routine almost every time I turned on the printer. I'll be trying other brands before I try this one again.

    Great Product!
I saved so much money buying this product! It is much cheaper than the Epson ink and I can't tell a difference. Ink is so expensive and I go through cartridges so quickly. I don't know why anyone would choose to pay more than they have to.

    Junky
No where does it state that this is a black and white tv converter. Also this item seems to become extremely hot. The screen size was also uncompatable with my tv.

a nice little thing to have...
I have been searching for something like this over the Internet for months. With this little thing, finally I can connect my notebook (without S-Video output) to my Sony TV (without S-Video input). The resolution for DVD playing is perfect, and I don't have the multi-regional problem any more as with regular DVD player. But might not be so good for demos, because the text, especially the small font ones, are blurred on the TV screen.
After a couple of months, I realized one more thing: it only supports NTSC and Pal, but not the rest (SECAM etc). So if you are going to France/East Europe (including Russia)/Japan, you might have some problem.

    Too Expensive in comparison
I have a Xerox laser printer P8EX which uses the Xerox 113R296 printer cartridge. Although I don't have complaints regarding the quality of the cartridges, I am disgusted about the high price of this cartridge in comparison with the pricing of laser cartridges for similar laser printers! For example, most of the similar HP laser printers utilize cartridges which can be purchased for $50-80.00 each and produce the same quality printing. In fact, XEROX themselves manufacture HP compatible cartridges which can be purchased for well under $100, while the cartridges which they manufacture for their own printers typically cost up to $150.00! It appears that XEROX has found that they can make more money manufacturing laser cartridges for other more popular brands of printers than they can for their own brand of printers! Too bad they're not more interested in providing printer cartridges at a reasonable price for purchasers of their own printers! Considering the cost of the XEROX cartridges, the XEROX printer is more disposable than continuing to purchase the replacement cartridges.

Toner Cartridge Fits Like a Glove
I use a Xerox WorkCentre 385 Printer that works with the Xerox 113R296 Print Cartridge.

The first thing that I noticed about the print cartridge is that it is incredibly easy to use. There is no mess installing the cartridge and it snaps in easily -- even for a person like me who is somewhat mechanically challenged. The print cartridge also works well right out of the box, and provides crisp, clear documents, faxes, and copies immediately.

My main criticism is price. The cartridge is somewhat expensive. However, on a per-page basis, I believe that the cartridge will be a fair deal.

    Not too good.
While working as a legal assistant for my Mother's law firm, the Xerox XD-120F was the office machine with which I did my work. And the problems were plentiful...paper-jams, toner and drum malfunctions, messy ink spills, and a myriad of other technical difficulties. Worse yet, the machine was purchased less than three years ago. The warranty is still effective, but Xerox's service is shoddy at best. Their on-site tech support is inept, with the serviceman advising me to "feed the paper manually" regarding the oopier problems that were adversely affecting production.

The XD-120F isn't the most deplorable copier on the market, as it initially worked well and produced copies at a reasonably fast rate with decent resolution. But if you're an office or home owner, you can certainly do better than this unit, yet still be cost-effective. Brother seems to put out solid, long-lasting products at affordable prices. The firm has had a Brother fax machine for over two years and it works like a dream. Hope this review was helpful.

    This thing does what!
The XD120f is a landmark unit. It copies at 12 pages a minute and PRINTS at 8 pages a minute. Its a Laser Digital machine so you have the latest technology. It has (2) 250 sheet trays so you can put 8.5x11 in one and 8.5x14 in the other. With a quick setup, you can put 8.5x11 and 8.5x14 paper in the automatic document feeder (adf) and it will AUTOMATICALLY determine which tray to get the paper from! You can tell it to shrink all copies onto 8.5x11 or make them fit on 8.5x14 however you want it. It has a bypass on the side incase you want to put thicker paper through the unit to print or copy onto. A 3 year onsite warranty and a reasonable price make this unit a first rate business buy.

Print head clogging problems outweigh print quality
The print quality may be great, but as soon as you go a few weeks without printing or eventually end up having to change ink cartridges, this printer has major problems with the print heads clogging up with dried ink that can't be remedied by the print head cleaning utility and requires getting in there with a syringe.

    Stay far, far away.

    Disappointment abounds, down the road
I purchased the C82 in March of 2003, thinking it was one of the better choices on the market at the time. Now I know better. June 2004 rolls around and I need to buy a set of ink cartridges, little did I know three out of four heads would never work again. I blew $68 on ink and even after running all the tests, can only print magenta, which I had replaced a week before the cyan, yellow and black cartridges. The magenta even took four days to start cranking out ink. I have to print color brochures and newsletters, so I will be buying a different brand printer this week. I did get more than a year of flawless, satisfying printouts from this machine, but it just isn't worth $200 American dollars (plus $68 on never-used ink)only to have it quit working right after the warranty expiration. I have heard about Epson's bad consumer support and will be looking for brands with better consumer ratings. The C82 turned into a shameful waste of money, I am disappointed in Epson.

    What Beautiful Pictures!!
This is one of the finest printers for photography on the market today. This piece is inexpensive to buy and relatively inexpensive to own. Each color is in a separate ink tank. They are affordably priced. The best feature is the new Epson ink that is used in this printer. It uses a pigment ink instead of a dye. Pigment inks adhere to the top of the paper as opposed to sinking in to the paper. The new ink is virtually waterproof. I witnessed an Epson representative pull a page out of a printer and submerge it in water. . . like a minute after the printer was finished. . .It was amazing. The paper was waterlogged, but the ink was unharmed. On photo paper, the ink is supposed to last 75 years!

You will never see a pixel on a photo when the picture is of high enough quality. Epson photo paper is probably the best out there. This is a great printer for the price. This would be a great printer for twice the price.

Epson C80 Printer- More trouble than its worth !!
I have 2 of these ink jet printers. When they are new they're fine. After use, the ink jet nozzles become clogged and cause nothing but printing problems. This is a common problem as witnessed by numerous customer complaints about it, and the large number and variety of nozzle cleaning kits sold. I followed the Epson Web Site to correct the problems to no avail. The final result from Epson was: "Take it to the repair shop." Local charge to unclog the printing nozzels is $ 130 because of the time it takes to clean. Instead, I bought two Brother HL-1440 Laser Printers. Installation was simple using the CD provided. The printing looks great, AND I NO LONGER MUST BE CONCERNED WITH STOPPED UP NOZZLES AND CONSTANT REPLACEMENT OF EXPENSIVE TONER CARTRIDGES !! The Brother HL-1440 prints up to 3,000 copies on a laser cartridge that takes 30 seconds to replace.

    I love this printer!
I'm partial to Epson products anyway, but this is the fastest, highest-quality inkjet printer I've ever had. It's especially good for the price range.

I generally use a laser printer for my writing business, but I've purchased a few inkjet printers over the years because I need the color capability. This printer is faster than my HP LaserJet with more standard features (such as double-sided printing) and has a much cleaner text output than many other inkjets. You have to take a much closer look to know that it's not a laser printer. Using the color features and high-gloss paper, I created a complete marketing campaign for myself, and few people could tell that it wasn't professionally printed.

The C80 also seems to not eat as much ink as other models, with the added benefit of using separate ink cartridges for each color. It's also very quiet. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs a good but inexpensive inkjet printer!

    Another great epson printer
The Epson Stylus C80 is my second Epson printer purchase. Epson printers always offer great quality at affordable prices. I use my Stylus C80 for both digital pictures and text print outs. The Stylus C80 handles both perfectly. I recommend using the quality instead of speed setting when printing out digital pictures. Changing the settings is quick and very easy to do. By giving up speed for quality you will have excellent digital photo print outs. I am using Windows XP and had absolutely no problem installing and operating my printer. Something else I really enjoy about this printer are the separate ink cartridges for red, yellow, and blue. A lot of printers have just one color ink cartridge containing red, blue, and yellow. Which means when you run out of one color, you have to replace all the colors except for black. With the Stylus C80 you only replace the color you run out of. I'm glad I turned to Epson for the second time when I needed a new printer. Epson printers never let me down.
