No OSX Drivers
Great printer, fantastic quality but STILL no OSX drivers. I've spoken to Epson for over a year about this, and they still have no commitment to when they'll get it done. Very dissapointing.

Professional Photographer
I find this printer to be an excellent well made printer. The perfect printer would be one that could print excellent color and Grey Scale.
I have read the previous reviews about lack of drivers for the Mac's and I do not believe that this is true. The printer came packaged with drivers for PC and Mac. Upgraded drivers for both systems are available at Epson's web site. The only draw back that I see about the printer is that there is no light black ink tank, for really good continuous tone grey scale images. So people that do Grey Scale Photography would not come out with gallery results. Color printing is excellent as long as you use custom profiles out of Photoshop.

OS X drivers
I don't know when the other review was posted but the OS X drivers have been available since 2003. Mine works fine, but a RIP works better.

A great paper and equally great to many other coated papers
This one-sided matte-coated paper is fast-drying and odour-free. Since the coating is on one side, there is a small grayish logo on the other side to remind you which side to print on. Both sides are nearly as white as the HP uncoated Bright White Paper normally sold in 500-page reams, and you can print on both sides with good results. If you really need photographic quality, there is no beating using a glossy paper. Even the generic brand glossy paper will surpass the performance of this matte paper.

Where this paper really falls down is its high-price. There are many other brands of coated papers with equally good, equally SHARP, equally BRIGHT COLOUR performance in the matte-coated paper realm. Some of those other papers are even coated on both sides so that you can print equally well on both sides. I know; I have bought over ten different brands of matte-coated papers to test them before using in higher-volume printing with the HP Deskjet C6578 family of cartridges (and refill ink).

I would like to point out that if you use this paper, you should use it only for one-sided printing. While you can print on both sides, the uncoated side will appear different (even if it is black-only text) when compared to the printing on the coated side. For such purposes, I recommend a paper that is coated on both sides, and there are quite a few that are (and lower-priced than this HP paper).

This paper seems slightly reactive with HP ink. An immediately-printed image seems to slightly change in colour over a one-day period (when comparing an older image to the same freshly-printed image).

Great paper, but not a great value
While it's true that this paper has a high brightness rating, its utility is plagued by the question of market. Whom is it trying to reach? It's labeled to be specifically useful to HP printer owners, so if you're not in that group, you can keep on shopping. But if you do have an HP printer, one of the things you'll immediately notice is how great they are, by-and-large, at the job of reproducing color. So good have been the models released in the last two years, in fact, that it's actually quite difficult for the average layperson to see the difference between work completed on this and similarly high-contrast paper made by Xerox or other, more traditional paper manufacturers. So then the question becomes, why would you spend so much money for 200 sheets of this paper, when you could elsewhere get equally bright paper at higher quantities for a lower price?

I'm still not sure of the answer to that one.

Great for Graphics
This paper is a bit pricey... but it gives great results. I use it on my Epson 740 injet printer & this paper is strides ahead of the Espon paper I have tried. I'd buy stock in this one!

Fax paper jamming device
Although the speed and quality of the print is very good, the constant problem of the fax taking more than one sheet at a time and jamming the mechanism has made it impossible for us to continue using this in our office. It will grab upwards of 8 to 10 sheets at a time, so the only way to get a fax printed from our hp 3150 is to have an employee sit and manually feed each sheet into the fax machine. We ordered an aftermarket fix to solve the problem, which was recommened by a service shop that also has had experienced this jamming problem from other owners bringing this fax in for repair, and the afermarked fix also did not work. After a frustrating year with the HP 3150, we are scrapping this model and shopping for a new fax machine.

Works for the home-business user
It provides the necessary functionality for the small business user. However, each functional area doesn't perform like it's stand-alone counterparts.

You get everything you need for an inexpensive price, but you pay for it in speed and quality.

Quality Fax Machine Delivers!
The Hewlett Packard LaserJet 3150XI is probably the finest fax machine I have ever used. Not enough can be said about the features this model provides. It is a laser printer, not ink jet which makes received faxes print in seconds. The loading mechanism takes only ONE sheet at a time, which seems to be a major problems with lower end fax machines. The copy feature works flawlessly and effiecently.

The buttons are laid out well and are easy to understand. One thing I truly enjoy is this fax machine can be either a stand alone (How I use it) or connected to a PC for it's quality printing capabilies.

If you do a heavy amount of faxing (100+ a day) or just need extreme quality in a fax machine, I can't recommend this enough for you. It will not disappoint!

Gummed up my Epson right away
Just didn't work in my Epson -- I don't recommend it!

pretty good product. worked ok
Seems to be a good product. didn't break my printer

Great cartridge
I tried this non-Epson cartridge because I wanted to save some money. I figured that if I didn't like it, I could get my money back, since there is a 100% guarantee. I couldn't tell that I was using an off-brand cartridge. I highly recommend trying it. You can save alot of money and there is nothing to lose.

Big difference between this and an Epson
This cartridge lasted 1/3 the time an Epson lasts. It was a hassle having to repeatedly tell my computer that it was okay to use a non-Epson cartridge. About 25% of the time the cartridge wasn't even acknowledged as having been installed, so I had to keep taking it out and putting it back in. Yes, it printed, after all of that, but with no noticable difference in quality, a HUGE difference in quantity, and with considerable aggravation.

Is It real - - or?
I'm not sure. This was such a wonderful surprise. I was happy that I could get this ink cartridge at this price instead of the epson ink cartridge. I'm not sure- but,I think it doesn't print as many pages, or maybe it doesn't work as well with my computer because it isn't a epson ink cartridge. I bought two cartridges and had to use both because my computer started to act as though the ink cartridge was empty. So I ended up using both ink cartridges within weeks. Is this normal?

A No Brainer
Brilliant color saturation! Better than my Epson cartridge! I saved money and received much more than I expected. Better yet - Rhinotek is helping to save the rhinocerous from extinction.

Lousy product, save your money
I tried several iron-ons. They go on easily enough, but crack almost immediately when you're wearing them. small or large; doesn't matter the size. I followed the directions carefully and even timed the ironing down to the second. Does't matter--they crack! JUNK, and a waste of money. Now I have ruined T's. One shirt I actually washed--it was ruined anyway--and the stuff flaked off in the washer. Same thing happens to HP transfers, according to the reviews. It could be the ink in the printers aren't compatible? Reason why some are okay and some not? Don't know but they need to put that on the package to warn people!

Great product
I did not expect much from any of the products like this, but this product exceeded all my expectations. The quality of the picture comes up great from the printer (I'm using Canon s820), it's easy to apply and it looks beautiful. I haven't tried to wash the t-shirt yet, but none of my t-shirts survives more than 5 washes anyway :-).

Went bad after 2 years of light use
This thing works great when it works, but it won't even outlast the toner cartrige. I'm on my second drum, and I have had it exactly 2 years and it's already bad. I'm thinking of replacing my printer with another one (not made by Brother) before buying another one of these drums. They do go bad with time, even if you don't use it much. If you do buy one of these drums make sure it's fresh. And yes, I did leave my printer plugged in the whole time for these last 2 years, as per Brother's instructions (not on switched power strip) and it didn't make a difference.

Brother DR100 Drum is Excellent
I bought my HL-660 Printer with a DR100 Print drum in 1989. Since then, I have printed nearly 50,000 pages of print and graphics. It worked wonderfully and always gave excellent print quality. The only reason I am looking to replace it now is that my wife hung a plant above the printer and a leaf fell into the drum and burned. Had it not been for that plant, I'd still be printing today. I have looked at the samsung ml1210 printer but the Brother has worked so well, I can't bear to buy anything else.

Brother MFC
I was fooled by the multi-functionality of the product, learning only the hard way that the head only has three months warranty. To replace it will cost $250+, now I have (an expensive) boat anchor!!

Great laser printer and fax
I bought this when I started working remotely and it has been great. The laser printer is high quality, and although it takes a bit of start-up time to print one page (as most laser printers do), I am able to print hundreds of page without any problems.

I use the fax regularly, to send and receive, and have never had a problem with a mis-fax or missing an incoming fax.

I have not used the copier much since you have to feed in the pages, but whenever I have used it I have been happy with the results.

Overall, if you need a multifunction I highly recommend this one.

Good space saver, but lacks features
I bought this cartridge for two reasons: it's convienence and because it is a sheet-fed scanner. The printer/scanner combonation saves a lot of space on your desk. Switching the ink cartridge with the IS-22 cartridge is very simple & easy. However, I had trouble installing the software driver and then got a error telling me that this driver didn't support the hardware! All this was easily fixed by downloading the newest driver from Canon's website. I have not had any problems since installing the updated driver.

I also wanted a sheet-fed scanner so that I could image a multi-page document easily. That is, I wanted to be able to put in, say, a 15 page document, hit scan, and have all 15 pages scanned automatically (as opposed to having to scan each page individually, as with all flatbed scanners). Alas, this will allow you to scan and save only one page at a time. This is a pity since this is the strength that sheet-fed scanners have over flatbeds. So, if you do not have much space on your desk and you need a scan just an occasional few pages, this will be a great option for you! A flatbed will generally give you better quality images, but takes up lots of space. If you're doing lots of pages at once, then seek out another scanner.

A great idea that needs tweaking
The ability to use an optional scanner cartridge with you printer is a wonderful idea. Number one, it saves a lot of deskspace. Second, it is cheaper than most flat bed scanners. And you get technical support from the same company, if needed.

You won't get high quality scans with this product though. There are noticeable vertical or horizontal lines that show up in the scanned image (depending whether you were scanning portrait or landscape) even when scanned in the highest possible resolution. Most of the lines can be retouched with good photo editing software like Photoshop 4.0 or above, but are still noticeable after printing.

In conclusion; buy this for the convenience and space saving benefits. If you are planning on getting proffesional results, use a flatbed scanner. If you're just scanning snapshots to send via email to relatives and friends, than this is probably the most economical choice for you.

Piece of junk
It simply doesn't work. I get a little bit of blue ink and nothing else. Total waste of my money...

better than Epson's and a lot cheaper too.
Seems to have better ink flow, does need priming to get it to work right. Just hold the ink buttom on the printer to prime the new cartride once it is installed. Have used several Dataproducts cartridges and they seem to work better than Epson's cartridges and cost a lot less.
