No OSX Drivers
Professional PhotographerI have read the previous reviews about lack of drivers for the Mac's and I do not believe that this is true. The printer came packaged with drivers for PC and Mac. Upgraded drivers for both systems are available at Epson's web site. The only draw back that I see about the printer is that there is no light black ink tank, for really good continuous tone grey scale images. So people that do Grey Scale Photography would not come out with gallery results. Color printing is excellent as long as you use custom profiles out of Photoshop.

A great paper and equally great to many other coated papersWhere this paper really falls down is its high-price. There are many other brands of coated papers with equally good, equally SHARP, equally BRIGHT COLOUR performance in the matte-coated paper realm. Some of those other papers are even coated on both sides so that you can print equally well on both sides. I know; I have bought over ten different brands of matte-coated papers to test them before using in higher-volume printing with the HP Deskjet C6578 family of cartridges (and refill ink).
I would like to point out that if you use this paper, you should use it only for one-sided printing. While you can print on both sides, the uncoated side will appear different (even if it is black-only text) when compared to the printing on the coated side. For such purposes, I recommend a paper that is coated on both sides, and there are quite a few that are (and lower-priced than this HP paper).
This paper seems slightly reactive with HP ink. An immediately-printed image seems to slightly change in colour over a one-day period (when comparing an older image to the same freshly-printed image).
Great paper, but not a great valueI'm still not sure of the answer to that one.

Fax paper jamming device
Works for the home-business userYou get everything you need for an inexpensive price, but you pay for it in speed and quality.
Quality Fax Machine Delivers! The buttons are laid out well and are easy to understand. One thing I truly enjoy is this fax machine can be either a stand alone (How I use it) or connected to a PC for it's quality printing capabilies.
If you do a heavy amount of faxing (100+ a day) or just need extreme quality in a fax machine, I can't recommend this enough for you. It will not disappoint!

Brother MFC
Great laser printer and faxI use the fax regularly, to send and receive, and have never had a problem with a mis-fax or missing an incoming fax.
I have not used the copier much since you have to feed in the pages, but whenever I have used it I have been happy with the results.
Overall, if you need a multifunction I highly recommend this one.

Good space saver, but lacks featuresI also wanted a sheet-fed scanner so that I could image a multi-page document easily. That is, I wanted to be able to put in, say, a 15 page document, hit scan, and have all 15 pages scanned automatically (as opposed to having to scan each page individually, as with all flatbed scanners). Alas, this will allow you to scan and save only one page at a time. This is a pity since this is the strength that sheet-fed scanners have over flatbeds. So, if you do not have much space on your desk and you need a scan just an occasional few pages, this will be a great option for you! A flatbed will generally give you better quality images, but takes up lots of space. If you're doing lots of pages at once, then seek out another scanner.
A great idea that needs tweakingYou won't get high quality scans with this product though. There are noticeable vertical or horizontal lines that show up in the scanned image (depending whether you were scanning portrait or landscape) even when scanned in the highest possible resolution. Most of the lines can be retouched with good photo editing software like Photoshop 4.0 or above, but are still noticeable after printing.
In conclusion; buy this for the convenience and space saving benefits. If you are planning on getting proffesional results, use a flatbed scanner. If you're just scanning snapshots to send via email to relatives and friends, than this is probably the most economical choice for you.
