Invent It! tends to take an idea already in the marketplace and put a slightly more "home hobby" twist to it. What Invent It! does here is change the standard configuration of the sheets. Other manufacturers include three, letter-sized sheets with no scoring of any kind. Invent It! gives you one full sheet, one sheet with precut rectangles, and one sheet with precut circles.

While I admit that some hobbyists may like the convenience of pre-scored sheets, I personally found it annoyingly limiting to be forced into these shapes. I can't, therefore, see more than a novelty use for this pack. It would make sense if Invent It! created a pack of each kind of sheet, because that would give consumers the opportunity to buy sheets for particular projects. This way, however, you have to spend a prohibitive amount of money to get enough sheets to make even a modest run of, say, magnetic business cards.

As for their general quality, Invent It! gives us slightly less powerful magnetics, and a material that is irrevocably stained by water. They are best on kitchen doors, or other areas of highly concentrated, magnetically conducive metal. For example, they hardly stick at all to stainless steel, and they also seem to have their functionality compromised by refrigerated or moist areas. Indeed moisture does seem to discolor the base color of the sheets, permanently changing that color from white to a very dull pearl. Fortunately, the material is such that the design itself will not bleed when wet, as is the case when inkjets print on paper.

I must point out that none of the three manufacturers I tested performed much better under what might be considered "extreme" conditions. None stuck to stainless to any great degree, and all discolored under moisture--though others did so less permanently. Invent It! did actually lose some magnetivity when exposed to water after adherence, actually curling slightly under the strain. Other manufacturers, notably Xerox, seemed to have slightly improved magnetics overall, sticking better to more types of metallic surfaces. None seemed eager to be used on already-moist surfaces, but Xerox in particular seemed to withstand moisture better if, for instance, condensation appeared after sticking the magnet to the surface.

In sum, then, I think Invent It! would be perfectly fine for making exterior refrigerator or interior car magnets, but this particular collection of shapes will be limiting to most creative minds. Businesses looking to use this product for routine labeling of work areas will be best advised to look for other manufacturers, or even to consider transparent decals.

This is advertised as a (small) bonus for buying any photo editing software. Expiration of the offer is Jan 31, 2003. System will not honor the promo code because the item is discontinued. What a waste of time.

where could you find such a value?

After a while the cartridge prints red, and I thought I needed another one. After running a cleaning program twice the printing returned to normal.

After a lesser amount of printed pages than advertised, cartridge starts printing mostly in reddish color and blurred.

I originally bought this printer at Comp USA because the sample picture that it printed out looked great! However, to my dissapointment, when I printed pics at home, the quality wasn't nearly as good. Also, after a few months of owning the printer, the colors of any colored object were completely off - usually had a red tint to them. I thought this might be because the cartridge needed to be replaced, but that didn't help. I would only recommend this printer if you wanted to print in black and white text documents exclusively.

... it was on sale. But the quality turn out to be not so good. When you put in "plain paper," it will get stuck very frequently. I guess it only like papers that are designed for "ink jet printer" only...
Also, the cartridge is very expensive ...so you might want to think twice before you buy this one...

I bought this compatible inkjet cartridge for the BJC-6000 printer to save a few bucks over the genuine Canon replacement. Not long after installing the replacement cartridge, my printer stopped working. I was told by a Canon technician that I would need to replace the ink tank altogether. Although the ink tank is a wear and tear item and needs to be replaced every so often, the Nectron knock off inkject cartridge probably hastened the replacement schedule. The Canon technician suggested that the knock off cartridge probably clogged the ink tank. Oh well. I guess the adage applies to ink tank cartridges as well - You get what you pay for.

printer quality is almost as good as the OEM cartridges

Ink Cart works as well as Canon's and costs less to but I think you would be better off buying one from Office Max or Office Depot...they have generic ones too and you won't have to pay for shipping!

This is an average replacement for the canon 21bk cartridge. It will not last as long as the name brand, but for the price it may be worth it.

This item should be titled "Epson Compatible Ink" instead.

I have used Rhinotek ink in my epson printer for 5 years and it is BETTER and CHEAPER then the epson ink. The grays are nicer and the RED is much warmer and not so pink. I have NEVER had a problem. My business relies on having a digital image, match the printed image. I print out all my illustrations and it can be costly. Finding a cheaper and better ink was a god send. I recommend rhinotek to all my friends family and fellow artist.

This color ink has been a disappointment from beginning to end. I wouldn't even give it a 1 star rating. The color has never been anywhere near true. I have even taken it out to shake it around thinking maybe the ink was dry but that didn't help. I would never purchase this item again. I'll stick to true Epson ink as expensive as it is. You get what you pay for.

I print a lot of family photos, so I go through ink cartridges really fast. I tried Rhinotek, because I wanted to save money. They're great. I couldn't tell a difference.

Epson has "defense" mechanism built into its printer so you won't want to use another company's ink! When the printer communicates with the ink "Chip" it sees it is not Epson and gives you a warning message.

In addition, I was mostly using my printer to print B&W documents. Yet, it still wasted all of my color ink due to the nozzle cleaning utility. It clogged a lot... but I don't know if that is due to the printer or Rhinotek...

My suggestions:
1) Buy Epson ink (There isn't a big cost difference)
2) Get a B&W Laser printer if you are printing alot of B&W documents
3) Use your Epson Photo 780 sparingly for printing Color

I used to have an Epson 740 printer and I always used Rhinotek ink. When I bought my new printer, I was afraid they would not have cartridges for it. They do, and I'm just as happy with them as I was before.

I have an Epson Stylus C82 - a printer for which this product claims to be compatible. It is not. The printer cannot identify, and therefor rejects the cartridge.

This cartiage is very good the quality is extreamelly good. There are no wet stains after u print an d the cartiage woeks for a significant amount of time. So I really reccomend this product, it is very good.
