It is a very good cartridge, BUT impossible to buy through local stores like Staples and Office Depot. Must be ordered online ( with shipping charges). Amazon has the best prices, but I feel the cartridges should be available in a store

Although this is a multifunction Printer/Fax, there is no provision for faxing direct from the PC. You have to print, then fax the paper document. Ridiculous oversight.

What you save on the CW50 you lose on the ribbons. The ribbons are about 10.00 which makes it imperative to find the absolutely lowest price. My CW50 broke down. It's under warranty so I sent it back. It ruined a ribbon in the process. A lot of websites say it's good for 50 prints. However, the back of the single pack says it's good for 40 prints. I was mislead. The price of the ribbons should be 3.99-5.99. I have been constantly complaining to Casio to get the prices down. You should not buy them if over 6.99 (I've found them at that price)

If you want to print more than one item at a time you have to wait till the first item is completly done printing. There is no multi-tasking with this unit. I aligned the cartridges like the manual told me yet words are split in half. It works, it's cheap, it makes a lot of noise, when your not using it it's making noise and doing something over there.

This printer works well, but the replacement ink cartridges are expensive. Two ink cartridges will cost more than the cost of the printer. With Epson or Cannon, generic cartridges can be purchased for much less.

I would rather they just sold these single; it takes me forever to use one cartridge (around a year) so having to buy two wasn't a deal for me.

I did send away for the free paper pack and it came with a lot of things: envelopes, photo paper, card paper, etc. I'm not sure it's $20 worth of paper but its interesting.

This cartridge offers the quality you expect from any other cartridge. My problem with it, which most people won't notice till it's too late, is that the M in its product code stands for "Mobile" which is just a fancy term for half-full. They make it "lighter" for people on the go who have their notebook printer with them. Whatever...it runs out in half the time of a regular cartridge. Do yourself a favor, go with the models that have an "A" in their model number....they really aren't much heavier- I promise you won't notice.

The idea of a multifunction printer, scaner, fax, etc., is a good idea, but this implementation is cludgy and overpriced. To start, the base model does not include fax capabilities, which you must add later for an additional cost.

All in all, the Brother MFC-8820DN is a much better value (around $600) and has everything included.

I own a Lexmark 3200 printer and ink is totally expensive. It doesn't last very long either.
