i ordered T041020-RC4 whiach a 4 pack of the cartridge only received 1 cartrige. same for T040120-RC4. a major ripoff!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

I ordered T040120-RC4 and t041020-RC4 which are both 4 packs of color and black catridges for epson c62 printer. I received one of each. A major rip off!!! Stay away from this company!!!

If you're looking for a fax machine that positively eats toner and mysteriously runs out of color ink, even when you've never once printed anything out in color, this machine is for you. To make matters worse, it refuses to run again until you replace said unused color cartridge with a new one, costing in the neighborhood of $....

We use this machine as our office fax. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I like. There are much better alternatives on the market.

If you are familiar with this type of calculator and its funtions then it might be a good calculator to have.

But, if you are not, then good luck figuring out how to use it. Setting the date and time is easy once you figure out the cryptic and 100% worthless manual.

There are keys on it that I have absolutely no idea of what they are for. No picture of the key layout and what each keys function is.

Yes, one that is familiar with this type of calculator may not have any problems but not all people are and there are those who would like to learn to use it properly. The examples in the manual are bad.

What good is any product if the manual is so poor that you can't even begin to figure out how to use it properly and take advantage of its advanced features? If any...

I went to the Canon web page and found absolutely no help there.

Bottom Line:

Calculator might be good if one can figure out how to fully use it. Manual is an afterthought written by either by an engineer or a lawyer.

I bought this printer as a replacement for a 1220C non duplex printer as duplexing has become a must for our company. I have had this product for 2 years and probably run no more than 200 sheets of paper through it. The quality is superb when it works. It has now developed a fault which makes it as good as useless as it requires a replacement part which I understand would cost almost as much as the printer if I could actually get it. Looking on the HP web-site forums I note that this particular problem appears to be rather too common for this make of printer. I cannot recommend it and suggest you look elsewhere. Shame, as I really rate HP printers

Note: This is a review based on working with the HP cp1700ps for one year at ~20 pages per week.

Strengths: Great when it works, sturdy construction
Weaknesses: Buggy hardware, buggy software, expensive ink.

Summary:
Our HP color inkjet printer cp1700ps worked fantastic most of the time, great output, good colors, fast printing but with a slow first page.

After two months it started making loud high pitch noises with every head-passing, HP support knows the issue; it's not easy to resolve. After six months of regularly cleaning a specific area, the noise no longer appears, the squeak causing area must be worn out.

The postscript option, which I bought as well, is not worth its money, it did work for about a month, printing with it was extremely slow on a system with 1Gigabyte RAM. Since then it keeps crashing on Windows XP at system startup, re-installs have never worked.

After six months the printer started complaining that cartridges are empty when in fact they are half full, really annoying when you want to print black only, but the printer insist that you need to replace yellow which you don't have in stock.

After 14 months the printer declared that cartridges were missing although they were physically present. Even after replacing all cartridges with brand new ones (that is ~$120), the printer still claims that black is missing. So I ended with non-working printer with expired warranty after 400 days of ownership, because it claims ink cartridges are missing when they are not.

The front feed mechanism works well for regular paper and has good allignment. Using heavier paper in the trays results in a very precise dent being made at a very precise spot on the page. Using thicker paper in the tray also results in banding in the printout. The single sheet rear feed causes less banding, no dents and can handle thicker paper but quite consistenly pulls the paper in croocked.

The ink is very expensive, the printer seems to waste quite a lot of it, judging by the mounds of dried up ink under the print heads.

HP has made it near impossible to use 3rd party ink supplies with this printer, with the chips built into the cartridges, so *only* expensive ink as an option. Legally they should allow one to use other source supplies.

In short an ill-behaved machine that works great when it feels like it, and in our case it did it only for about a year with some interrupions.

Next printer will be the Epson 2200 or 4000 for large color and some Laser. No more HP.

This order gets routed to Office Depot. I got charged $4.99 for a Small Order Processing Fee, WITHOUT WARNING OR NOTIFICATION, since this was the only item I ordered. It also didn't qualify for Amazaon's free shipping. Unless you can't find this item at a bricks-and-morter near you, don't buy this item through Amazaon unless you want to pay $8.00 over the quoted price - a rip off IMHO!!

This printer is horrifically slow on all but the basic setting. Click on "better", or heaven forbid "best" quality (which still isn't so fantastic) and you will be waiting, and waiting, and waiting for you paper--try printing a 50 page document and you may as well go out for coffee. By the way, I'm talking Black and White, not color, in which case you may as well go to bed and get your document in the morning. It is small, which is a plus (and hey, for us it came free with another computer). I keep mine in the kitchen for laptop use. But for any serious printing, I have to use my HP.

Two stars may be too generous for this printer. First of all, EVERY time I used the printer I had to begin by performing the cartridge cleaning routine to avoid horizontal streaks. Oftne this took at least 2 tries and used up far more ink that I was using on my print job. And even worse, I happened to not use the printer for about a week when the black cartridge was about 1/3 full and the color was about 3/4 full. When I tried, the black was clogged beyond salvage. Hate to hammer it home on the brand, but I had a similar problem with a Lexmark a few years ago. I have definitely purchased my last Lexmark.<br /> <br /> I gave it two stars because when it worked, the quality was decent. So, if you print A LOT, and a lot of pages at once, it may not be so bad. But if you are an occasional printer (and by occasional I mean a few times a week even.) you will waste money on ink cartridges.

As of 10/2/02 this product will not work with MAC system X.2. The driver software is still not written. I have no experience with this product and the Windows platform.

On MAC system 9, the product works fine--good quality, but very slow by today's standards, especially draft quality printing.

For all systems and platforms ask yourself if you really need the feature "camera chip inserted directly into the printer." Most people now have good computer software that really eliminates the necessity of this direct-to-printer feature.

For some reason, the quality of these products seems to have declined since I first purchased them. I find that cartridges from Amazon Imaging are more dependable and more affordable. And Amazon's cartridges are certainly better than Epson's own.

I had to repeatedly clean my print head while using this product, and found that the total page output was below that of previous cartridges from this company.

Low marks for inconsistent quality.
This is an adequate product for word processing. For more elaborate uses, try an alternative.
