Radeon SDR 64MB AGP Graphics Card Review
I got this card and it has changed how my games and everything worked. The graphics are much clearer and I can play every game I want. I got this card because I got some games that didn't work because my graphics card was not good enough to run them. Now, I can play those games and all the others I've gotten so far.

    HOLY JEBUS
Man, i was stoked when i got my Radeon 9000 Professional... but holy crud in a biscuit... this card blows it AWAY! i didnt think it was possible! This thing is fantastic, optimized settings on Halo, and it runs great! Tiny, tiny bit of lag in heavily occupied areas with all the light effects lol... but nothing noticeable... Morrowind, man that game runs like a dream now, and Final Fantasy XI, can you say BUMP MAPPING?? WITH NO LAG? AND WEATHER EFFECTS??? JEBUS!
Anyhow, buy this card, it is truly a steal

      Superior to Dazzle DV Bridge
I own a ADVC-100, which is a similar product to the ADVC-50 but with more features. The quality of captured analog video with the ADVC is better than another popular analog capture product, the Hollywood DV Bridge. I own one of these as well, so I speak from experience. The latter is adequate, but just adequate for importing analog video to Adobe Premiere. The ADVC does so much better, with audio locked to video so that the two don't lose synchronization over the course of long captures (which sometimes happens with my DV Bridge). In addition, the ADVC box is simple and cable connections are snug and preserve the integrity of the connection. My DV Bridge, on the other hand, has a cool looking (arguably) but less functional design. It falls over when cables are plugged into it, and the S-video cable fits only loosely unless I wrap scotch tape around the unit and the S-video plug. The ADVC also has an on/off switch whereas the DV Bridge does not. The latter's power supply must be plugged and unplugged from the power supply with each use. If you're looking for a product for capturing analog video, I have no hesitation about recommending the ADVC ... and especially to those considering the DV Bridge. The ADVC is superior in every way, and considerably less expensive. For a few more features than available on the ADVC-50, you might also want to consider the ADVC-100. I'm happy with mine.

        absolutely fabulous!
Back when my first dog lost her hearing, I finally realized she wouldn't be around forever. She was otherwise healthy, but deaf, so I bought a camcorder. This was before digital camcorders existed and I shot a lot of film of her playing, eating and just hanging out.

Tape is a volitile media - it's basically rusting from the minute it is manufactured, and I wanted to be able to enjoy the film of her forever and not find that the tape had degraded over time.

Now that I have a Mac that can burn DVDs, I needed some way to get the analog video into my Mac. This Hollywood DV-bridge is freakin' awesome!

My Mac at work has the DVD writer, but at home I have an older Mac - a G4/400, but with the DV-bridge, I was able to connect my analog video recorder to my Mac and import the video to iMovie to do edits.

I made the edits and burned the resluting video to a CD and took it to work one weekend and did the fancy editing and burning with iDVD.

I had bought another product that was cheaper, the XLR8 InterView USB, and it was awful. I couldn't import the video real-time, so I got slide-show video and choppy audio.

The Hollywood DV-bridge is just like having a digital camcorder.

I have friends who have even older tapes from the older style camcorders using full size VHS and I can now help them move their precious memories to DVD.

It's not cheap, but you sure get what you pay for!

          Definitely Best Value for Money!!
I purchased this card for a friend and decided to test it myself first. The gameplay experience is far better than that of my Radeon 9000 Pro. Play NFS Underground on this card - you'll love it! Without AA/AF, you can crank the resolution on most games up to 1280 x 1024 and crank all game settings right up and not lose ANY performance!!! People, BUY THIS CARD!! If you doubt me, visit www.tomshardware.com for the general review of Radeon 9600 Pro cards.

          Ultra solid graphics powerhouse
I have had nothing but gaming bliss from this card. There were no problems with installation and the performance it has given my games has been excellent. You have to spend $400 dollars for any card that exceeds this one, and I don't think there will be much improvement in performance.

          Chipset Core Speed/500 MHz Memory / 600MHz
Got this card with a Athlon 64 3000+, 120GB SATA HD, 80GB IDE HD, Abit Max3 MOBO, 1GB OCZ Gold PC-4000 RAM, Audigy 2 Card, Logitech Z-640 speakers, Antec Sonata Case, and a Cooler Master

Similar performance to the 9600 Pro, but with slightly higher clock speeds and a coupon for a free copy of Half-Life 2. I made the mistake of buying this card over a 9500 card because HL2 probably wont come out. But it's worth a shot. I like the screensavers you get on the catalyst driver disk. They were the most popular file share at my last LAN party. I also like the retail box. You can cut out the ATI logo with the "RADEON XXXX" and stick it on your case. The little security badge thingie is also pretty fun to play with...
