Fantastic
Got this mickey mouse webcam for only several bucks when it came with a $40 rebate several months ago. Very satisfied. Clear, sharp images. A+!

Great webcam!
This is a great webcam. I bought it with Christmas money at Circuit City, and it came with a rebate. I've had it since the day after Christmas - and not only is it cute, but it's got great quality. The internet video "conferencing" is clear - though not perfect, it's about the best you can get for under a hundred - which is still great. Everyone I webcam chat with online commends on how great my cam is, and the still-pictures it takes are surprisingly good. It also takes several seconds of video (which I've mostly used on my sleeping cat), which is nice. It doesn't disattach from the computer, so you're limited to as far as the cord can reach. I have frontal USB ports on my computer, and the cord is long enough that it reaches across a little more than half of my bedroom. I have it on the monitor, and the stand is very cute as well. To adjust it, there's a long slot at the bottom of the cam and a peg on the stand - so you can slide it up and down or back and forth as you please. I've been waiting to get a cam for a long time, as my boyfriend lives long-distance - and I'm totally satisfied with this one. My friends have webcams that were the same price or more, but terribly less quality. Also, it comes with the cutest and most creative photo software I've seen. It's not for serious photo editing, but rather fun editing (you can add animated borders, scenes, characters, etc). My friend and I sat here for hours when I first got it playing with the program. Overall a great cam - I recommend it to anyone who wants one and isn't bothered by Mickey Mouse on their monitor.

Good Resolution, Clear images
The picture quality was good enough for my budget and requirements. Though the images appear more smooth and a lesser framer rate in megapixel resolution.

In moderate lighting; with not too much of sunlight, the performance is really impressive.

Great camera for price. I bought the optional accessory kit model IK-WBACC1 so I could install the camera outdoors. I have the camera running on the 802.11b wireless network and was amazed at how easy it is to install. This is a great camera for home or business.

easy home security type camera
I wanted to get a camera for the house that I could check while on the road travelling for work. The Toshiba camera featured a low light level so I can type in my camera webpage address and see the front of the house at night in lower light levels. The camera works wirelessly from my linksys wireless B/G router. All I needed to do was plug the camera into power outlet which was in the garage. The power cord is 30+ feet. I found Toshiba updated the temperature specs so it can be used in -4 to 122F temperatures. It was easy to install and the picture quality is great at 1.45 megapixels. The camera also has a rugged housing unlike most cameras priced at the same level.

Intel Pocket Digital PC Camera (Pocket Digital PC Camera)

Just what I was looking for.
I wanted an inexpensive way to take and send pictures of my newborn over the internet. This camera works great. The software loaded easy and I was snapping pictures in no time. There are less expensive alternatives, but the ability to shoot 1.3 Megapixel resolution, have a flash, and smartmedia expandability makes this well worth the money. I was able to take 20 pictures at the highest resolution - Intel said to expect 14. It's nice to have a product over perform! Can't wait to try the video options.

A 5-star product in its class
A friend of mine from Minnesota bought it for me at a local shop and I got it here in Romania in mid December. I think the new Intel Pocket Digital PC Camera launched November 2001 at $... on Intel Direct Shopping site is a real wonder in its category. 16 Mb internal memory, plus expansion slot for Smart Media cards up to 128 Mb, buit-in flash and microphone (and speaker to hear click sounds during operation), two aperture lens (f2.8/f8.0), automatic or manual white balance control, USB connection to PC, fantastic software. The camera comes with a stand to fit on the computer, strap and traveling case. While connected to PC via USB to download pictures or be used as webcam it does not need battery power. Four AAA normal or alkaline batteries are required only when camera is used away from your PC as a digital still camera. Since there is no LCD screen on the back of the camera (in my view an extravagance anyway) to focus or preview shots, the battery life is amazing. I just replaced the original 4 (regular) batteries after emptying twice the 16Mb memory full of snapshots, most of them with flash! Nifty resolution and storage capabilities for a camera in this category: 256 pics at 640x480, or 96 pics at 1024x768, or 14 pics at 1280x960 (or combinations thereof). It can also accomodate 1 minute stored video with audio or 1 hour voice recording! Excellent webcam too. Vivid colors and working great with Yahoo Messenger, Camarades.com (have not yet tried the supplied software for Inetcam.com services). The included Intel Create and Share software is very imaginative and entertaining. The image editor program is called MGI PhotoSuite 4 Special Edition, but have had no patience to learn how to use it. I'm being faithful to my Corel Photo-Paint 10 that does the job just fine :). Although the camera appears to be in stock at major US online shops (....), it's a pitty the info provided on those sites is incomplete or incorrect and there's not even a product picture shown. Also, not selling in Europe yet, so I'm probably the first lucky European owning this pocket-sized rarity :). All in all a great buy, wholeheartedly recommended.

Best Camera I have found for the money
This camera for the monies spent is 10 times what I had anticipated but should have known better. Seeing what Intel has done with the Pentium Four, I would have expected none the less. I only wish that Intel gets back into manufacturing cameras again. It is a fantastic Web Camera with sound, it is a great recorder of sound and WOW to the concept of digital video making. It's the best investment I have made next to purchasing my home and my automobile.

    Nomad JB3 Leather Pouch
I am quite pleased with both the quality and workmanship on this product.

All the openings allow for simple access to the various controls and sockets without any difficulty. In fact they matched up almost perfectly. I would have preferred to see the gap a little wider for the scrolling wheel, as bigger fingers may have a minor problems with negotiating it otherwise.

The belt clip seems quite seviceable and should perform its function well. My preference would have been for it to be slightly wider so as to provide some more stability.

Overall the product looks good and is well worth the money for the protection it affords.

Nice accessory for your Jukebox 3
To this day, I still use my Nomad Jukebox 3 on a daily basis. I don't think I'd be saying that if I hadn't purchased this last year. Not only does it make it easier for me to carry the, now massive, Jukebox 3 around, it's also kept it in perfect shape. When I originally received it, it was a very tight fit, over time it's loosened a bit and made it easier to remove if needed. I only mention this because occasionally the holes for the rear ports get slightly covered by the case. Not a big deal but still worth mentioning. If you still have the Nomad Jukebox 3 or are just now getting one, I seriously recommend picking this up as well.

    The Best
I think this item is a good price a CD and MP3 player is very good if you want to listen to a CD instead of downloading the music or just download from the internet its still a good deal

Powerful for a little Web cam
I previously owned a Xirlink Video Media IBM USB PC Camera and it was horrid. The pictures were dark and funky. I decided it was time for me to get one with real power. I shopped around for a camera that wasn't fancy, but would do the job for the right price. This is it. The pictures are far better than what I experienced with the previous one, but they're not perfect as you expect with a fancier digital camera in the $200-$400 range. For instance, I took pictures of a toddler and they were a little orangy compared to a regular digital camera. When I take pictures of objects, they turn out nicely and rarely blurry (usually my fault).

I use this camera as a Web cam and to take pictures that I want quickly to put on the Internet and top quality is not of importance. Surprisingly, this camera even takes short videos. I filmed the first video on the first time I used it and was surprised how easy it was to capture the movie and then put it on the PC.

Beginners should find this one easy to learn with the help of an instruction manual. Intermediate and advanced users should be able to dig right in -- maybe look at the manual for button information. I used this Web cam when we were building a pool and enjoyed seeing the captured photos when I was away from home, but had access to the Internet.

      A simply superb little camera
I am fairly new to photography so needed something that was going to be easy to use and give me decent results~ this camera surpassed all my expectations.
It is small and light, easy to slip into a pocket or purse, and the shape makes it really comfortable to hold, that's a good plus for me, but the quality of the pictures it produces(128 at good quality) has to be seen to be believed, and thats the clincher!!You are getting, almost true, digital camera quality photos for the price of a web-cam. Obviously you dont get a zoom or some of the other features that you can expect when you pay for a digital camera, but, if you want a web-cam that takes superb pics, that's exactly what you will get,and more, this is real value for money.
It also has a video and voice recording capability and the software that comes with it is good, but, if you have a great imaging programme all ready, this, little beauty has twain~~ so you can import from your PC~CAM 300 straight to either the PC-CAM's photo centre or your own programme.
I love this camera,it is so much more than a web-cam,and is simplicity itself to use. I have had so much pleasure and enjoyment since I have had it~~it is one purchase I will never regret.

      Can't use 'smart face tracking'!
This webcam is very easy to set up in my winXP. The colors are pretty good if there is a proper light in the room. One thing that I don't like is that Creative claimed that it can track your face whenever your face moves. However, I didn't find this function to be true, nor was it mentioned anywhere in the manual. Am I too dumb to use this function or Creative lied to me?

Good for easy set up and chats
This camera is decent quality for using it through the chat programs. When it's evening, you will need a separate lamp that is close to you (preferably in front of you) to make the colors right; however, this is much better at low light than the cheap Logitech camera I have (which just displays black instead of distorted colors).

I plugged it (and the microphone headset that came with it - nice touch!) into an IBM laptop running XP, and had zero problems getting them to run with the chat programs. You do have to install the software to get it to take pictures, however.

The clamp takes a little getting used to, but it will sit flat, hang on to your LCD (it involves balancing, so don't think you can move your laptop with it hanging on), or put it to your regular CRT monitor. This kind of versatility is useful.

The face tracking is interesting. The camera itself is panoramic, so it's realistic to think that it can follow your head as you move left and right (without physically moving the camera).

One last specialness to note about this camera. Because it is not the Logitech brand, you can set it up to output to your website (although this eats your bandwidth up) instead of paying for the monthly fee to put it on Logitech's site.

      dc320 a good one, but...
it works fine. but, does not have a flash and grains start to appear if enough lighting is not there.

      Amazing
Great quality camera and it's price has been dropped incredibly! Go for the buy while it is cheap now or you may never get the chance.

If you are looking for a PERFECT family camera though, I would suggest getting a 2 or 3 MegaPixel camera to take more, and better shots.

      Avoid
I cannot recommend this camera stand. True, it allows arbitrary positioning of the cam. However, the flex arm is very awkward to adjust - much too rigid. Adjustments have to be done with two hands and require considerable effort. The arm just loosely slides into the base, so upon bending it one will inevitably lift the whole assembly out of the base. Worse, the camera platform cannot be adjusted at all. It it annoyingly difficult to get level. No fine adjustments are possible. Both the platform and the stand, the two parts likely to be subject to stress, are made of cheap plastic - guaranteed not to last. Finally, the cable clips are a joke - weak flimsy plastic parts that slip and slide every which way at any arm movement. The only possible use for this product is to position the camera once at a single fixed angle. Unlike a good tripod, real-time adjustments are not possible. I get better results just placing the camera with its original stand on a stack of books. Again, I cannot recommend this product.

      Flexstand is my hero!
After fighting with the current stand on my Quickcam pro 3000 and the hours of frustration caused by it moving, wobbling or generally looking the other way I decided it was time to look for a new stand or tripod. As I currently own a TFT flat panel monitor I had already resigned to the fact that I wasn't going to be able to mount the camera on top of it - but hang on , whats this I found on the web?, Flexstand - looks interesting I thought so I ordered one.
Now I have this bendy contraption attached to my desk behind the TFT monitor and it peeks over the top with the camera firmly attached and I'm wondering how on earth I managed without it, its so simple but brilliantly effective - If you have a webcam and a TFT monitor or very little desk space or just cant get the camera at the right angle then the Flexstand is the answer to your prayers.
The flexstand trully is my hero!

      could not cam without it
I bought a FlexStand last year, and am glad that I did so - because it allows me to get angles that were not available with the wimpy stand that came with my webcam. I have one of those faces that looks good from some angles, and not so good from others. I also like the way that I can now push the webcam away and not be paranoid about being "on" when I don't want to be.

I broke the flat bit where the cam attaches, but I contacted strange solutions (because I wasn't going to be stuck w/ something that doesn't work), and their customer service person was nice and helpful and understanding and they mailed me a replacement one the same day that I called. I'm a girl, but I replaced it lickity split, and I was camming again.

So - I'd say that my overall happyness with this product has been very high, and it has gotten me to use my cam a lot more than I used to.
