Micro-Innovations is a poor product
product does not work with Windows XPThe product box is misleading, says its compatible with XP, but the user manual inside does not include XP in the list of compatible OS. The installation software does not work with Windows XP.
The customer service is also very poor. I called 2 times, each time I was asked to leave a message. No one called me back. I returned the camera, I had bought it from Office Max. I think I will go with a Logitech product.
Looks nice, but doesn't work well.

I wouldn't even give it 1 Star, 0 stars would be better said
stay away
Nice bargain price but, you'll pay for it later...Here's the story: I had a friend visit from another country, and I snapped many shots. Not only did the quality stink, but, The battery power drains very quickly(using NIMH batteries, which last longer than alkaline.) The camera functions are so slow, that if you accidently press the wrong sequence of buttons while waiting for camera to load properly, you lose the entire storage of pictures. I was fuming mad to see my storage disappear with the error "No Photos."
Also, the LCD display is so small, it's almost pointless to use. Word to the wise.... If you've already bought this camera, GET A COMPACTFLASH MEMORY MODULE(64mb or higher.) That's going to run you at least 45Bucks (See, price going up already) But, the benefit of an external memory module is that you can take it out and put it into a Digital Memory reader. Remember: Avoid this camera like the plague. Personally, I'm looking at a Sony or a Nikko camera.(With digital video included)

Maybe I'm missing something...I finally captured in color using Fire-I software from the web, and then Windows Media Encoder. It still only captures at 7.5fps. Granted, it takes 4 shots of the same frame to make 30fps, but it's still 7.5fps (it just takes up 4 times the space.)Fire-I could capture 640x480, but WME was stuck back at 320x240. The preview seems to be 30fps, but the capture isn't.
The hardware MIGHT be OK, but the software sure isn't. I'd say it borders on false advertising. My search for decent drivers/software to make this work will continue. Without it, this thing is a waste of money.
