I got this card to work with Dell X5 PDA and my Sony T610 phone. However, I cannot get it to work with my Dell Latitude Laptop running Win 2000. It finds the remote device, allows connections, but if you try to move files, you get a protection error. Synchronization using the Sony software never finds the phone, even if it is connected, bonded.. Emails to Socket support get no reply. No mention of problems or hints in their FAQ. No updates for the Windows software or drivers on the website (they seem to be selling this software for previous card buyers). They get two stars because it worked with the PDA.

Gratuitous comment: why does anyone think Bluetooth has a future? It is more complicated than wifi, slower, and seems more difficult to use. Once the low power wifi chips enter the market, bye-bye Bluetooth.

this headset paired easily with my t68i and provided very good reception but there were a couple of issues that led me to return this accessory:
1. the headset won't stay put. as hard as i tried, i could not get comfortable with the way this headset attached to my ear. i had to adjust it constantly and even then, i felt that the headset would come off if i moved my head too quickly.
2. the headset is designed so that the speaker rests on top of your ear. this contributed to issue number 1 but also made it difficult to hear your called party. even with the headset volume at maximum, i sometimes had to press the speaker against my ear to hear clearly. kinda defeats the purpose of hands-free!
3. you can only use this on your right ear.

i would recommend the jabra freespeak as an alternative bluetooth headset. peace.

En la publicidad dice que es compatible con Nokia 3650, pero la verdad que luego de mucho averiguar estos no son compatibles...que horror...lo que sucede es que M1000 es compatible con "headset Bluetooth profile" y el 3650 tiene "handsfree Bluetooth profile" y eso es suficiente para no ser compatibles...luego de luchar 10 meses me encontre con esta sorpresa...y yo que pensaba que algo malo estaba haciendo...

And it only sort of worked with my Sony Ericsson T68i. Half the time it cut out, wouldn't connect to the phone at all, and wouldn't answer calls when I pressed the button. Also, the earhook is a piece of garbage. It breaks right at the point where it fits into the hole in the headset itself. My first one broke three and a half weeks after I received as a gift. They sent me two new ones for free as a one time courtesy, and the second one had nearly broken as well, but by then I had received my new bluetooth headset, the Jabra Freespeak, which I wholeheartedly recommend over the Plantronics M1000. Don't buy this headset! If I could give it zero stars, I would!!

As I said above - skip it if you have a Nokia 3650. Also, battery life is bad. I used it with Sony Ericsson T-68 and it lasts forty minutes maximum. On the positive side, the battery is replaceable unlike in some other BT headsets.

I use a driver downloaded from Dell or Philips. It works fine, only is unable to establish bluetooth dial up modem connection.

Although the product looks OK and I guess it should work OK, I haven't been able to make it work yet as Belkin has no driver for Pocket PC 2003 yet ! When I contacted the technical support, they said that they had no date for release of a compatible driver !!
Better purchase another bluetooth adapter if you are running Pocket PC 2003.

I bought this item but never got it work. I was not able to connect my Palm Tungsten thru this bluetooth device to the PC. It seems that the software is screwed up. There was no usable manual printed ot on the driver CD. I threw it away and installed another Bluetooth USB'device made by TDK which worked much better.

The title says it all. Also Xircom was bought out by Intel so these products will probably not enjoy long term support, judging by the website info on Intel (especially the driver pages).

I enjoyed the Epson 2200 and PowerbookG4. I wanted to buy this bluetooth product, but then it said... PC compatible only! Damm! What about Macintosh users out there? Epson, you should do something!

This does not work as they say!!!!!
Battery does not last as long as they say.
They say that it works up to 30 feet away. It started droping out around 3 feet and by 6 feet it was all static.
Also it is hard to hear, not loud enough.
I returned it and got the Jabra Freespeak that is less and works GREAT. Good range, easy to hear and smaller.
