Stay Away!!!
I bought these thinking that they would help my grafitti recognician and would keep my screen w/o scratches, but I was TOTALLY WRONG!! There are 2 MAIN reasons why not to buy these.

1) Almost IMPOSSIBLE to get it straight on the screen and with out bubbles in it.

2)Makes your screen VERY blurry and hard to read. You can no longer use programs such as "Palm Mirror" because the shean on the screen that is used to give you a reflection, is gone.

Luckilly I was able to return these TWENTY DOLLAR dissapointments without any trouble. I can't strees enough, DO NOT BUY THESE unless you want to totally waste 20 dollars!!

Pristine Screen
They're Great-give 'em a five... well, they degrade visibility somewhat-but they reduce glare... and there's the speed thing.

PRO: *fairly easily applied, no different than taking care to apply any other adhesive. *protects entire screen from any scratches or smudges--or those annoying mini-scratches that accumulate in one area like perma-smudge. *the writing surface is somewhat less slippery, improving accuracy. *they say to replace them monthly, though they're not significantly depleted of utility by then. *reduces the glare on the screen. **SPEED: Because I'm no longer anxious about scratching the screen, I'm writing more quickly. This was nothing I anticipated and makes them well worth the minimal investment.

CON: *visibility issues-though these are greatly minimized by adjusting the contrast. *would be perfect if slightly easier to apply perfectly-I'm not particularly well coordinated, though, and I have done it repeatedly.

So maybe I'd give 'em a 4.5 if there were such a thing, but I can't, so five it is.

Great for protecting your investment
It takes a bit of patience to get this protective screen on, but it is worth the time, effort, and money that you put into it. It protects your Palm's screen from unnecessary scratches, and damages. It is great.

Just be patient, take your time, and put this on. Prevent costly damages from happening!

Offers Good Protection; Design Disappointing
I bought the Visor Edge metallic case with the intention of protecting my investment. It does just that with its hard outer casing. However, what falls short is the design of the case. Although it "looks" really cool from a picture standpoint, the case has a "cheap" feel to it as the inside is made of plastic. I also find it difficult to slide the Visor Edge in and out of the case, and you cannot place the Edge in the cradle without taking it out of the case first. I'm sticking with the flip cover for now until I start traveling. Definitely not worth the retail price....

good protection, poor design
not being able to charge or sync my edge in the case...5 slides out of the case and already there is visible wear on the little nubs that hold it in place...i feel as if handspring did the unable to sync feature as a ploy to get us to buy a cable in addition to the cradle so you can sync your edge as well as charge it...so looks like im ordering a cable now, or just a second case which i fear will wear out soon anyway...

Good, but could be *so* much better.
I got this case when I ordered my Edge because I wanted something to protect the Edge case, which while metal, seems a bit fragile. It also has the added benefit of making the Edge a bit easier to hold. The problems come when you actually try to use the case. If you want to sync, or hook up an accessory cable (in my case an edge to Motorola cable from cables4pdas.com) then you have to slide the edge partially out of the case to do so. It wouldn't have taken much to design a cutout in the case for the standard accessory connector, or the cradle, but they didn't. The problem is compounded by the fact that after many such slides in and out, the ridges on the case that hold the Edge securely inside are wearing out and the nice snap-in feel that the case had is gone. The case also covers the Springboard connector, and obviously doesn't allow you to mount the legacy-Springboard backpack. This is a minor quibble, as the standard flip cover does the same thing. It also seems that the detents in the hinge for the front door are wearing down too. Hopefully, Handspring and IDEO will come up with an updated design.

I actually have the serial cradle
Unlike the previous two reviewers, I have the serial cradle. Physically, it is identical to the USB cradle. The first reviewer is correct, it takes a little jiggling to get the PDA seated correctly. However, a green LED immediatly flashes brightly when the device is seated, there is never any doubt.

The package comes with an AC Adapter.

Everything works exactly as it does with the USB cradle, except much slower. Much slower. Depending upon how much data you carry around and the turnover, this may not be an issue. I carry about 5300 contacts and 300 hundred ToDos/Appointments. I sync'ed from the Prism to the desktop initially. This process took more than twenty minutes.

Since then it has been quite livable.

The moral is: USB is much faster than serial... But you knew that already.

The truth about this cradle...
OK, to be totally honest, I don't actually have this particular cradle (yet, anyway -- I'll probably be getting one sometime soonish, though), but I do have a Visor Prism, and I can't imagine that this cradle is substantially different in physical characteristics from the USB cradle (which I do have), nor in performance from any other Handspring Serial cradle (which I also have, from a prior device), and so I consider myself at least reasonably qualified to review this item...

There was another reviewer who gave this item 1 star, based on an argument that it didn't give very good feedback as to when you were correctly positioning the Prism in the cradle, and that it didn't lock once there. There definitely is some truth in that argument, and hence my lack of a 5-star rating, but I must say that for me, while the first couple of times I used it, I was a bit dissapointed, I now am quite used to the way it behaves, and as I have come to feel quite confident about my ability to easily make the placement and have it be correct.

This review is in no way intended to invalidate the opinion of the other reviewer -- it certainly doesn't lock in, and there is a bit of sketchyness in general to the placement -- but rather to give a differing opinion, so that folks thinking of purchasing a Prism at all (I'm _assuming_ this guy has the same complaint with his USB cradle) will have a larger base of information to make their choice from.

Cheers,

A must for NT 4.0 and Audrey
We are a two Visor Prism household, one of us has to run NT 4.0 on a laptop (so, no USB). We also bought a second one to use with our Audrey. Both cradles work perfectly and have held up to the abuse of being stuck in a briefcase and dragged around.

Pray you get a good one
This may be a good product, I wouldn't know. I think I got a defective one (I hope it's defective), but I am returning it, not exchanging. Kodak's tech support is definetly sub-par. I was having trouble with my Palm Pix, so I called Kodak, and after one and a half hour of hold time, I got a live person and got hung up on. I am not about to call back, or take the chance of getting another bad one. I have read about similar experiences on other sites,I have also heard positive ones. I guess if your lucky to get one that works it's great, if not, the experience of trying to get support from kodak will definetly make you think about getting a seperate digital camera from another company.

Handy Little Contraption to Have!
I use mine with my Palm M505 (color version) and it is a very useful little tool. Because of it's compact size, I carry it with me in my purse always, and since I go nowhere without my Palm, I always have a camera! During a recent remodeling project at home, my husband and I went on many "exploring" trips to see if we could find just what we wanted for this or that....with the camera, I took pictures rather than just taking notes on where we found something - it was very helpful. Plus the ease of downloading during a sync operation can't be beat!

Good basic camera that needs to get back to basics
First of all, let me start by saying that I really like the Palm Pix idea, and I have seen, used, and liked the Palm Pix cameras used on the M100 and the Palm III.

I will start off with the good. Kudos to Kodak for really trying to integrate the Palm Pix into the M50X platform. It fits nicely, and folds up to take so little room that I often forgot that it was in my pocket when it wasn't attached to my M505. When attached, it attaches quickly, easily and tightly to the chassis. Images can also be stored on a SD/MMC card, which was a nice addition for the M50X series.

As far as picture quality, when the pitures turn out well, they are exceptionally good, better than you would think you would get out of a Palm-based camera.

Now for the bad. They should have kept it simple. In order to try and make it a little more sophisticated, they added the ability to adjust the focus so that you could take detailed close-up pictures of business cards all the way up to an infinity setting. The problem is that the Palm screen does not have the granularity to show whether or not you have something in focus, making each picture a hit or miss prospect. This makes the product as technologically advanced as my forty year old box camera. With everything else that Kodak got right, they should have left it with the fixed-focus lens that the other models have, which is truely heartbreaking.

It is a good camera, and, if you just leave the focus alone when you get it to where you like it, it will work just fine.

    Waste of money
OK, sorry, but this has a fatal flaw - it rolls. It rolls off of the desk every time I set it down. (I guess that's why it has a hot-orange tip, because you'll be looking for it a lot.)It's flared nail-head top is difficult to dig out of my case (I'm using an Incipio zip-up case), yet it sticks out further than the original Visor-provided stylus. There are NO human factors benefits to it, and it's ridiculously overpriced. Save your money.

Nice, but too hard to remove from slot
I had a stylus from the same people for my Palm Professional for quite a while and really liked it. This one, though it just too hard to remove from the slot on my Visor Prism. (I don't know how it fares on other slots). When my prism is it its case it is a struggle to remove it (you pretty much have to have good fingernails.)

That is a pretty significant problem. I really like the feel of the stylus, though, and the tip makes it very easy to see. If they were to fix the problem with getting it out of the case (which could easily be a new top piece) I'd highly recommend it.

They will be coming out with a stylus just for the Prism
I contacted PDA Panache and they will be coming out with a stylus just for the Prism, and will replace mine. Once they come out with the new one, I'd recommend it to people.

    Not too happy!
I am not too happy with this case. The belt clip does not fit any work belt I wear. It will work fine with a dress belt, but not any kind of wide work belt. The inside of the case is full of dried glue where they glued the lining to the leather. Most of all, the ipaq will not fit in the charging cradle while it is in the case; you have to take it out of the case everytime you want to sync it to your computer or charge it. Also I don't like the pocket on the inside of the case. Anything you put in the pocket (like an sd card) presses directly on the screen. It may be safe, but I'm not going to take a chance with the screen. Searh for something better, especially at the price of this one.

Exelent choice for carrying a nacked iPAC
For those who don't wear shirts with pockets or are afraid of the iPAC slipping out of the pocket and being damaged on the floor, AND who have not added any slip-on accessories, this is a great add-on. It fits the naked iPAC just perfectly with easy access to all functions except the recessed reset button on the bottom, which you hopefully won't have to use very often.

What I really like is that it has a belt clip, very much like the ones used by some of the high quality cell phones. It slips on the belt, and a "button" on the back of the case securely "snaps" into the holder. To remove the iPAC along with the case, you push a large button on the top of the belt clip and the case easily slides up and out. When you are ready to put it away, it "snaps" securely in place. Another thing I like is that I carry mine on the right side, which covers the right hand pants pocket. The case, mounted on the belt loop easily "swivels" out of the way to allow easy access to the pocket.

The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that the portion of the belt clip where the belt slips through could have been made to more easily accomidate various belt "thicknesses". The belt I use is somewhat thick,(as opposed to "wide") but not at all uncommonly thick. The belt clip accomidates it, but just barely, and putting it on the belt is a pain, especially where the belt holes have been stretched "out" by strain on the belt by my little bit to large stomach. You have to exert some "muscle grese" to slip the clip onto and up the belt to its desired location.

I don't wear a shirt with a pocket very often, and when I do, I still prefer the iPAC holder because it is secure, there is no added weight to the shirt pocket and you don't notice the iPAC at all mounted on your belt ... even sitting down it swivels out of the way.

I use my iPAC a lot for listening to mp3's that I download. The flap on the case works beautifully to hold the earphone plug snugly in the earphone recepticle on the IPAC, something I had trouble with before I got the Rhino Case. I remove the iPAC with case frequently during the day, and the large "release" button on the belt clip works easily to release the case from its "locked" position without having to look down to the clip ... it is easily done by feel alone.

Of all the add-ons I have purchased for my iPAC, becides additional SD Memory for mp3s, the Rhino case is, by far, the most useful and, for me, essential of the lot. To top it off, it has worked flawlessly as advertised and the fit to the iPAK is perfect. Now, the question is, how long will it be before either something breaks on the belt clip, or the eye on the back of the case comes off (as so often happens with cell phones that use this same system). Once either of those events happens it will be time or order another RhinoSkin Leather Flip Case.

Good fit for my IPAQ, mostly.
This was mostly a good fit for the Ipaq. It's not hard to insert and take out, but I have to push it in really hard to get the entire top of the screen to be visible in the window. But that might change after I've had it a while and it breaks in.

The post mount is a plus, since it's compatible with any Nokia phone post mount.

High on Coolness, mediocre on functionality.
The basic design of the G700 is in fact ingenious. When I show the device to onlookers, they gasp at the expansion mechanism of the actual keys. Concession: It is damn cool. Sadly, I must confirm previously addressed grievances, primarily with the space bar, which is every bit as flakey as described. You think there's a trick to making it work better, but there isn't. It's just flakey, which is surprising. The expansion is so exactingly well done, you can hardly believe they would goof such an obvious quibble. One thing I will add in contrast to earlier reports is that it is possible to switch the location of the shift and up arrow keys. True, this is not entirely intuitive, and less than gracefull in usage, it is there.

For those of us with Clies, the Stowaway is the way to go, at least until there's a Stowaway XT ported to our platform. It's a shame, because the Belkin really has a lot going for it.

Belkin Sony Keyboard -- almost right
This fold-out keyboard is almost just right. It is much sturdier than the Targus (which flops around) and the keys have a better depth with the option to turn on/off the "click". The placement of the PDA is good, and it can even be charged while it rests securely in place. However, for a touch typist (like myself), the right shift key is way too far over, the enter key does not work in all functions, and the space bar just doesn't work very well at all. In fact, the space bar only works by pressing firmly in the middle portion only, a serious enough defect that my Belkin will be going back. Too bad -- I do think that this is the best of the keyboards out there, just not close enough!

It works fine with the new driver!!!
I just got my Belkin G700 Sony CLIE T series Keyboard today. I bought it through ebay and paid less than 40 dollars, which included shipping and insurance. I have to say, after initial use on my T615C (OS 4.1)...it works wonders! I really like the structure of the case and how it holds the PDA very securely. I am still amazed by the mechanism it uses for opening/closing of the keyboard. It does this very smoothly, but I am a bit worried that it may fail because it feels rather flimsy...but from what I've heard it's very dependable.

I heard that there were numerous driver issues with the keyboard but after loading the most recent (June, 2003) drivers from the Belkin website I had very litle problems. The driver failure after PDA sleeps has also been fixed. On almost all my word processing programs, I am able to type VERY fast and have an instantaneous response on the screen. The programs I was successful in typing were: All of Sony's built in planning functions (Memo, Address, etc.), SheetToGo (like Excel), and BugMe.

The feedback on the keyboard feels just like a full size laptop keyboard. The only problem is that the right shift key feels just a tiny bit too far to the right and the spacebar must be hit close to the center in order for it to work. However, this keyboard has many advantages compared to other keyboards like the Targus Stowaway Ultra-thin. The Ultra-Thin lacks a whole row of numbers at the top while the Belkin has a seperate one. This allows the keyboard to have more functions and type much more naturally. The adapter port for charging the PDA is a bit difficult to insert, but again that's a minor issue. Other keyboards I have seen also have been too small or the keys too tiny, or the feedback too low. Belkin seems to have got it just right.

The only software that I have problems with is WordToGo from the DocumentsToGo suite. It seems to crash (Fatal Exception) with keyboard use no matter what I've tried, whether it's editing an old document or creating a new one. The menu function on the keyboard also only works to bring down the menu but doesn't allow me to use the arrows on the keyboard to select an option. However, after talking to both the DocumentsToGo (DTG) and Belkin technical support, I have pretty much concluded that Palm OS 4.1 is the culprit. It looks as though the all problems have been fixed in OS 5.0 and the best thing to do is upgrade DTG to the most recent version (6.0). I'm still hoping I can somehow fix the WordToGo crash issue by getting better keyboard support for my 4.0 version of DTG. I found a relatively easy way to compensate for this though...I just use "Memo" to type everything I need and I just copy and paste it into WordToGo! *I heard WordSmith may have better compatibility*

This sure is one cool keyboard and I highly recommend especially at the ridiculous cheap price you can buy it through ebay. It's safe to say that you CAN use this like a laptop. I just wish I had a newer model of the CLIE, since it looks as though those models have no problems with WordToGo. :)

Does as much damage as without it
The design seemed very logical and fresh during initial use. But later I discovered the plastic cover wasn't very smooth inside, and it caused a few major scratches both front and back of my iPAQ. If you hate having scratches on your PDA, avoid this product!!! Get a E&B leather case instead.

    Okay for scratches, but...
It'll keep the screen from getting scratched and lets you cradle sync without removing from PDA, but not much more protection. I banged the side of of my 5450 on a chair while it was in the sleeve and the screen got cracked. Now I keep it in the sleeve and a padded case when carrying.

Great Design for the IPaq 5500
Sleek, snug fit. Put your Ipaq in this (click!) and slip it into your pocket. You're ready to GO.

Cover protects your IPaq very nicely, and you can still have easy access to your Screen. No extra parts. No zippers. Ipaq Fits into Cradle while in the case.

Get this. You won't regret it. Great Design. Great egonomics, affordable.

      disappointed
I think this stylus is too short and too thin to go with the Casio. The price is right and the quality is fine, except that it unscrews at the top, I don't know what the purpose of that is. A part to lose possibly. It's just not what I was looking for.

      Quite nice
This is a nice item to get if you tend to misplace your stylus every now and then, like me. The grip of the pen is just like any ordinary stylus so there won't be any unfamiliarities. It wont fit to every PDA out there, so these pens will be great to be inside a pencil case or inside your pocket.

Cheap, they do what are supposed to
Hey, they are low cost, not very solid not beautiful but they do what are supposed to.
