When you need it, its there in the car to do its thing.
When the battery runs down while in the car ... I listen to mp3s as my car radio doesn't work and the music is better with ear phones anyway ... you are just stuck with a dead iPAC until you can get it to the cradle ... unless you have this really useful charger stored in the glove compartment. Just plug one end into the cigarette lighter and the other end to the iPAC and you are back in business again, whether listening to music or just needing the iPAC fully charged for that important appointment. A great accessory!

Dont leave home without it.
The batteries fizzle on the ipaq pretty quick. You'll need
this to keep a fresh charge.

Very nice.
This product is a very handy thing to have in the car when you are a PPC owner. I use it for my iPaq and am very happy with it. It charges the battery quickly and is easy to use. Thanks Compaq!

exactly what I wanted
Hotsyncing with the Visor can be a pain: it takes a long time and it's sometimes dificult to get the Visor to sit it's in cradle. When you want to put files from your Visor onto the computer, there's no alternative, but if you're just backing up files, this module is excellent. You press one button, wait a minute, and everything is backed up. This is especially important because I've found that replacing batteries in the Visor sometimes deletes the data. Restoring from the backup module is then a one step process. Retoring from hotsync would first entail reinstalling all of the software and then hotsyncing the data. It's a little pricey and is something of a luxury, but it makes life much easier, especially if you're on the go.

Wonderful product!
I hot sync with a backup buddy already. However, I travel quite a bit, and this neat little module is just the best. It is very easy to use. . . simply put in the slot and tap an icon. . . and then you have a backup with you at all times, even when you can't get to your desktop.

simple!!!!!
Everything should be this easy. You put the module in the slot and tap the backup icon,And,it does it amazing!!!!!!I love this product.

Great Fun
What a great game. Graphics are execllent, works great on the Tungsten, and is is just good fun. I would recommend this card to the game enthusiast, as well as those looking for a break from the day - day.

Fun new game!
This is the best game I have ever seen for the Palm OS! I haven't always been a gaming enthusiast, but I absolutely love playing this one. I recently upgraded from an m505 to the new Tungsten T, and it works really well on both. I would highly recommend this game!

Awesome Game!
Awesome way to pass the time in those boring meetings. I use mine with a Tungsten T and it looks awesome. I highly recommend this card.

best of bunch
The module program does not crash like other downloaded programs. The biggest plus is the feebie desktop companion that allows storage and entry of pgn files. While this may not be the strongest program available, it has more features. I love being able to load game repertoires, endgame puzzles, and famous games.

I'm a beginner
I recieved my PocketChess as a gift. I'm just learning to play so the hints and ability to undo moves are really helpful... The graphics and color schemes are awesome. I have created a few of my own. I haven't checked out the game databases yet, but I did download the desktop companion so I could review my own games on the larger screen. This is such a great choice for anyone interested in learning the game.

Great New Chess Game
Overall this is a great chess program and definitely worth checking out. The engine is really smart and you can set the difficulty level of the game and hints, play around with color schemes and board styles, and review a whole game database of the Grand Masters. I really like that I can import and export games from PC based games. Its been helpful for improving strategy, you can try out move variations, set-up the board to work on specific problems, and add comments and annotation for each move. It also has a really cool Blindfold chess.

Great Product - Terrible Support
As far as the product goes - this is incredible. Imagine something the size of a credit card and 1/4 inch thick being able to be tracked by a satellite. My Ipaq 2215 bonded quickly and effortlessly with this receiver - it was so easy to set up.

This was my first gps purchase, so obviously I had many questions. You have to register the product to ask a question via email and two weeks later - I still haven't received a reply to my questions.

For $150 more you can buy the nav pack - which the only difference is you get the software. I originally bought that but the maps weren't up-to-date so I returned it and bought this. I use MS MapPoint 2004 as my mapping software now and it works great.

Easy to use with iPaq
I should have bought this a long time ago. I have had my iPaq for almost 1 year and finally bought this. Wow - it is so cool. Works very well with MS Pocket Streets. After seeing how this works, I can not imagine why anyone would pay $1000+ to buy a car with built in nav system.

A great Bluetooth GPS receiver!
This product delivers exactly what it's advertised to do. I'm a Mac person and found it to be compatible with all of the available software (Route 66 for example). The Bluetooth implementation likewise is very compatible with OS X. One thing to be careful about is to follow the serial port setup advice (see www.66.com support notes for a clean procedure to get it working).

Good, but a Little Chubby
I bought the Diamond Mako (or Psion Revo+) some time ago thinking I would only use it on business trips to check remote e-mail and compose a few documents. Soon enough, I found it so useful that it completely replaced my Day-Timer wallet organizer. More like a minature PC than a PDA, the Mako/Revo is a wonderful machine. In many respects, it is in a class by itself.

The Body Glove case promises wallet-like functionality (storage for bills, your license, and a few credit cards) and a secure, padded case for the Mako. It fulfills most, but not all, of that promise. While it is useful enough for it's intended purpose, I would make a couple of improvements:

The neoprene material: Although it provides effective padding, it is a bit too thick ... more than necessary for adequate shock resistance. It makes for a chubby little package when it is zipped together. That may not be important to a woman carrying a purse, but to is important to us men that have to carry these things in our pockets. Another disadvantage of the thicker neoprene material is that it makes the Mako's alarm virtually inaudible when the case is zipped up. Since the alarms continue until they are reset or the battery runs out (and the alarms consume a considerable amount of electricity), you may find your Mako unexpectedly out of power when you open the case and attempt to turn it on.

Attachment to the PDA: The PDA is affixed to the case via velcro hooks on the case and two velcro pads that are affixed to the back of the PDA. While that simple set up works well, the velcro pads interfere with the PDA/docking station interface. This is a minor problem, however, as it can be solved merely by cutting the velcro pads in half lengthwise.

Great
Keeps the humidity out. Has three slots for credit cards and one pouch for money.

Good solid Case
It's a good case for the Psion. However, the Psion really doesn't need it as it's built very sturdily. This case is for people that really hate to get their goods worn & torn over time. But in time, you'll want a faster, nicer toy!

Franklin Covey e-pocket Palm V Plain Wallet(Black)

nice looking and good quality, but low capacity
If you want to use this case as a wallet and, like me, you usually carry a lot of stuff in your wallet (a couple of IDs, supermarket cards, business cards, etc.), it won't be your best choice. It has only 4 slots for cards and no ID slot. If you fill all 4 slots with cards, the wallet gets fat and it looks like the cards could damage (or at least scratch) the screen of the Palm.

What I also didn't like - the Palm is attached to the wallet with its left side only (its right side is loose). So, when you open the wallet, Palm tends to flip similar to an ID insert in a ordinary wallet.

But in general the quality is very good, the leather is soft, also because the wallet is padded.

Slim, light, soft leather, very convenient clip
Makes the Palm way more useful -- it's always with me now.
The wallet is great -- it can take in all the important plastic, plenty of space for cash, the railing for the palm keeps it in place. The clip is great! My boyfriend has the wallet from Palm and he is switching to mine now. The clip is not getting in the way, very quick and easy to use.

    A steal
I was pleasantly surprised when this item arrived. I recommend this item for someone who doesn't carry a lot of cards in his/her wallet. I carry six "cards" including my license. This wallet has four sleeves and two hidden pockets. The billfold has a vent that makes it easy to place and retrieve $$. I also own the Palm brand "slim case" and while the while the overall quality is comparable to the Franklin, the "tuck-in" flap on the Palm brand hangs over the screen when you use your Palm V. The Franklin wallet has small snaps that stay out of the way.

For everyone with two distant computers
I have three of these cradles all in different colors. This one came with my visor and i think it is the coolest color(it also matches my visor). I have one in my office, one in my dorm room, and one in my house at home and they all help out a great deal. they should just have a feature where they can plug into the wall so if you really need to charge and you dont have a cpu you can do it, also a dc adapter for the car.

Handspring Visor USB HotSync Cradle (Ice/Graphite)
This USB port HotSync cradle for the Handspring Visor makes downloads and backups to your PC very quick and simple. I wanted to purchase an extra cradle for use at home, but found the shipping and handling charges direct from Handspring to be ridiculously expensive (almost $10.00) Thank you, Amazon, for not beeing greedy and charging exhorbitant shipping and handling charges and also providing prompt delivery.

    cool HotSync
It looks cool on your desk ... Worked right out of the box. My Visor is synced to Mac OS 8.6 (home - iMac, work - G4), upgraded Palm desktop to V2.6 a graphite cradle at home the Ice at work. HotSync worked at everything I've moved across it so far. Handspring's cradle is a simple molded plastic design, six feet of cable, with four non-skid feet. The method to secure the visor to the cradle isn't great. There is a small square hole just above the battery door on the Visor that catches a peg on the cradle and holds the two together. With Visor attached stability is good and it has a relatively small foot print. What was not as intuitive was the slight downward pressure required to secure and then release the visor from the cradle. While there is plenty of play in the contacts to allow for successfully HotSync without properly securing the Visor to the cradle it is also possible that a simple bump could break the connection. If it is placed on the cradle properly the two units are easy to move and took a few slight bumps without visor fall from the cradle.

    A necessary redundancy
I had to buy a second adaptor to keep at home or for traveling when I'm away from the office. It's worth the expense for the convenience.

    HP ac adapter
I was pleasantly surprised with the service. I placed an order and it seemed like it was just about 3-4 days I had my adapter.
I am also pleased with the product it gives me more versatility, since I have now one for my office and one for home.
Thanks again for the quick response.

    Invaluable for Jornada owners
There isn't much to talk about with this item. If you use your Jornada in more than one place, you need one of these, no question about it. Sure, the Jornada is designed to be a hand-held item, but you'll find yourself sitting somewhere near an outlet as often as not, and if you use the Jornada for various power-draining activities, like listening to MP3s or using a PocketFlash modem to connect to the Internet, you might as well use AC power. I keep mine at work and my docking cradle (with its own AC adapter) at home, so my Jornada is charged 95% of the time. It might cost a little more than you'd like to pay - what Jornada accessory doesn't? - but as with other accessories I have, it's more than worth the money, especially if you've ever run your battery down because you weren't keeping it charged. Even if you aren't using it, you can lend it to a friend to charge his or her Jornada. I've had mine for months and not had any problems with it.
