Worthless
This "pen" does not change easily at all. You have toline up this then push that then ull get the point you want. The stylus is flimsy. I agree with Denis, Im sending this back and shopping around for a much better one.

Excellent description, lousy stylus
Well, let me start off by reiterating a simple fact of life: don't believe everything you read. I have bought this stylus from Amazon, and boy, was I dissapointed when I got it! First of all, it is not very slim. Second, it does not contain the balpen, pencil, and stylus, but rather a black ballpoint pen, a blue ballpoint pen, and a red-colored plastic stylus.

So what, you might say. Well, there is more. It does not switch with a simple twist. Look accurately at the picture and you will notice two buttons: one at the top of the stylus, and the other, small black one on the side. The small black one is used to retract the pen/stylus. Try to push the buttons and you will find that the extensions to not alternate, but rather extend at random (the same kind multiple times in a row). Hmm, could it be defective? Apparently not. Look through the usage note and you'll discover that there are colored markings around the pen - red, black and blue. What you need to do in order to extend the kind of pen/stylus you want is hold the pen horizontally, with the desired marking facing up, then push the button...

What an ingenious idea. But you know what, besides the misleading description and the Amazon review, this stylus is just not worth what it costs, or even half of that if you ask me.

My review may be subjective, but consider what I wrote before buying this pen. Me -- I am returing this one and shopping for a better one.

It looks cool! Wished I have here laser ponter too.
Device is nice, but does not replaces the laser pointer I have to carry. I wish it is implemented in a future version of the pen!

Misleading
I was looking for a classy looking pen, with a stylus and mechcanical pencil. After looking for a while I found and bought this pen. I though to myself after seeing the 4 in 1 pen I thought hmm added bonus it comes with one extra pen. But i just got it today and it only has a stylus, black pen, and mechcanical pencil. I also wanted my pen to have gravity slect on it also. I saw in the desciption "see and click mechcanism" so i assumed that that is what it meant. WRONG! So over all this pen is good but not at all what i expected form the description.

Nice pen, but...
After a year and a half of steady use (but not abuse!), the pen works just dandy, but the black PAINT is coming off! First started flaking off around the gold band in the middle, then coming off in spots on the upper barrel, the removable end-cap (the eraser's under this end), and now the pocket clip. When it was new, the pen could easily have been mistaken for a high-end pen, but not anymore. I only use the pen with my PDA and paper documents in a normal office setting, it's not like I work in a machine shop or hazardous waste facility.

I also agree with the previous review concerning the lack of smoothness in the mechanism and the color of the stylus, but other than that the pen works just fine. I just hope they've improved their paint process!

Beautiful and Functional Pen!
As a graphic artist and a long time calligrapher I have a true appreciation of writing instruments of all kinds; and a collection of hundreds of pens and pencils. I've used and tried many brands and styles, and am very demanding about quality. My preferences are fine points, .5mm leads in pencils, and smaller still in inks. Ink especially must be dark, non-smearing, and very smooth and even. It should have a nice weight, and a comfortable feel for long hours of use. The Platinum Pen Black Onyx Marble Triple Action pen is a wonderful writing instrument. The product photo does it little justice,as the marbling in person is quite beautiful. I've had numerous comments on it's good looks. The pencil is a fine point with good quality lead; the pen is wonderful with excellent ink; and the stylus is just an added bonus. At this price, a pen or pencil alone would be a good value; but to have all three in one is ideal. Read the small instruction sheet that comes with it to understand how to turn the barrel correctly. Remember also this is not a power tool, it's a fine writing instrument, and needs to be handled gently. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it can
get stuck a bit when twisting the barrel to change points - but that is only when I'm too rough or going too fast with the change. That has only happened twice in two months. I've been using it for two months and it has quickly become my favorite pen/pencil/stylus. By the way, it also has an eraser under the removeable top, which isn't mentioned in it's description. Overall, I recommend this triple action item for it's good looks, comfort, and versatility. It's been dependable, and the quality is quite excellent. It would make a terriffic gift to anyone with a PDA.

Don't buy if it you have a cradle
This Wallet only works if you have a hot sync chord as opposed to cradle. I have a cradle and it wouldn't fit in there when I had the case on. Every single time I had to sync (which I do everyday) I had to take it out of the case. I returned it.

This case will do fine for almost anything you need
I purchased this case to protect my Pilot and have had o problems. I have found it to be quick and easy to grab and hook the Velcro strap onto my belt to leave my office. Since I do not use a cradle, and just HotSync with the USB connector, I have not had any problems either. The business card holder has also been helpful to have a convenient place to put the cards I am given while the Pilot is out. I have nothing bad to say about the product whatsoever- it protects the Pilot from falls, and does exactly what you would expect it to. It's not imported French kid leather, but it will certainly do the job.

Excellent protection for the M100
I've used this case/cover (as well as others) for the last 6 months and can truly say that it is one of the better ones for this series. I've dropped the PDA half a dozen times inside the case and it still performs flawlessly. I would have given this product 5 stars if it was fully compatible with the HotSync cradle but for me this is a minor problem as it removes easily from the case to sync up. I'm a light to moderate user who syncs every other day so this is not a big issue for me. Overall, I rate the Sumdex product highly.

Trash
LaserLine should go back to there original 90 cd holder which was squared in and out. This current rack makes it a hassle to put cd's in. If you don't angle it just right you can crack your cd case with almost no pressure. With this problem if you have 2 or more racks and you need to move the cd's around your screwed. In short.... you would be better off using a cardboard box.

Hi Capacity Inexpensive CD storage
These units are large and compact. They hold 90 CD's and do so at a very inexpensive price point. They are sturdy and have held up well fastened to our walls for years. I purchase them again and again as the preferred means of CD storage. They are big black plastic units and have served us well. They are great for any type of CD.

It does what I intended it to do
Yes, the units are large and black, but they are perfectly suited for those of us who have a lot of CDs and CD-ROMs. I looked long and hard to find units that held as much and were also VERY price concious. I have installed four of them and they leave me plenty of room for growth while also giving me enough space to organize efficiently.

Where's the Logic?!?
For years and years, my PAA of choice was the Week-At-A-Glance. Then my dear sister gave me a nice, 6-ring leather case with a bunch of pockets and a very convenient leather-bound snap clasp for holding it closed. A quick flick of the wrist, and the thing was open; a quick thumb movement, and it was latched closed.

In late 1997, the PalmPilot changed all that. My paper-based appointment book became a bulky carryaround, useful only for holding business cards, pens, and more paper. In addition, the idea of storing my PalmPilot in the old binder would defeat the PDA-in-the-pocket convenience factor.

Now it's time for a new and more powerful Palm. And perhaps a case. There are many available, each with its key strength. But, of the lot, Case Logic's leather case is most impressive.

I like Case Logic; their cases hold some of my cassettes, CDs, an automobile power adaptor and whatnot. Very forward-thinking company, with timely solutions for emerging "personal storage" needs, always a step ahead of more traditional vendors.

Almost. On their Palm V leather case, Case Logic apparently decided to snuggle into tradition. What on earth were they thinking by using a turn-of-the- 19th-Century-I-need-two-hands-to-do-this leather hook-through-loop closure?? Looks no better than a snap clasp, and takes longer to use. Just like Palm's case.

PDAs are about speed, efficiency and convenience; a PDA case design which doesn't wholeheartedly support that concept is ilLogical. Big "Oops" for Case Logic.

It has basic feautures.
I think it is alright. It has its basic features such as folds for credit cards, identification, etc etc etc. I wish it has zippers for its borders. However, nothing falls out if you insert cards into the folds. To me, the leather feels and looks "cheap." It was cheaper then the asking price today when I bought it early part of 2001. It does however protect the palm pilot from unnescessary scatches.

Good Quality
This product has a good quality with decent price

Doesn't fit the product for which it was designed
I have the Landware GoType keyboard for the Handspring, and I bought this case to protect the keyboard in my book bag. The case barely zips around the keyboard width-wise, and is longer than it needs to be. No matter which direction I insert the keyboard, it's a bad fit. The extra pockets are somewhat useless -- they are each designed to fit the Palm or Handspring, which is silly because why would you be carrying two PDAs at once? The extra padding designed to protect the PDA means that the compartments are smaller than they appear to be, so the most they can carry is maybe one cable or a backup module. The case is unattractive and essentially useless -- I plan to return mine.

Awkward... why not keep it simple?
A small simple keyboard demands a small simple case. This is **NOT** it. The two pockets with Velcro closures should have been omitted. The whole idea of a PDA is that it can be put in a pocket where it's always handy -- and a keyboard (slim to start with) is the kind of thing that should fit into tiny crevices, much like a paperback book slides into a briefcase. The goofy pockets catch on everything, and make the case almost twice as thick. Also notice that they both face in the SAME direction. It is especially hard to put rigid items in the 'blind' pocket -- and to get them out -- unless the GoType has already been removed from the main compartment. I have thought about carefully cutting the pockets enirely off the case, but I have hesitated to do so... it seems such a drastic solution... -- This is a classic case of overdesign with inadequate forethought, and (I'm convinced) no field testing. --

A nice way to protect your keyboard...
This case will protect only your Landware Keyboard. However, it's a bit expensive for what you really get. The quality is OK but nothing amazing at all.

Logitech KeyCase
Just installed Logitech folding keyboard. It doesn't recognize half of the symbols.
My advice: do NOT buy this item. I will order a folding keyboard, more reliable, I hope.

An intriguing idea that fails miserably
As a case it's just passable with its bulky cradle and wraparound case that does not protect the PDA from the elements (the ends are open). A $$$ case from a myriad of others is much better. As a keyboard it fails miserably. The keys are like wiggly soft buttons that are nothing like a real keyboard. It is impossible to type at any reasonable speed, let alone touch typing. Feedback from the keys is horrible, you don't know if a key is registering or not. The keys move slightly, but nothing like a real keyboard. I now use a Palm Portable keyboard (like the Stowaway) and it is like day and nite compared to this thing. Full size keys, full travel, an amazing design. I love Logitech products, but somehow they lost their way with this thing. What were they thinking?

I like it, but ...
I like the Logitech KeyCase. It gives me two things I needed for my Palm M130, a keyboard and a case. Overall, it compared with most of the other keyboards for the m130 that I tried out.

I feel that they keys are a bit small and close together for my larger hands and thick fingers. If your fingers are thin or your hands are average size or smaller, the KeyCase would be a very good keyboard for your Palm.

Having used other flexible keyboards, I was surprised at the responsiveness of the KeyCase. It wasn't nearly as mushy as I expected and was comparable to many other portable keyboards I've tested.

Overall, I think that the KeyCase is a good value, very usable if you take into account the size of your hands, and is fairly priced. It also the attention to quality that I've experienced and enjoyed with many other Logitech products in the past.

Don't Buy This Thing
The company that makes this item went of business March, 2001. This makes the "5 year warranty" useless. I bought one in August 2001 and quit functioning February 2002. If I had known the company was out of business, I wouldn't have purchased it.

Will not work with IPAQ
I bought this modem at CompUSA for ..., took it home and hurriedly unpackaged it and slipped it into the unwieldy IPAQ sleeve and was ready to go. Then I got an "unrecognized CF card" error. I tried again. No dice. I did a soft reboot. No luck. I took it back to the store and tried another one out of the box. No luck. I took my IPAQ back to the other retailer (BB) and tried another CF sleeve. Then another IPAQ unit. Still no go. I called Tech Support for both Compaq and the manufacturer. Compaq made me do a hard reset (in which I lost everything).

A great little gadget
It is amazing how this product works so well every time with my HP Jornada 548. I use it every day to access the web and check my email fast and reliable at work or away from my desktop PC. Just plug it into the CF slot and you are ready to go because it's hot swapable. I didn't give it 5 starts because even when it has a small size the RJ-11 telephone jack make it a little bulky.

    Brass is harder than aluminum
It's a bit pricey, but very well built, nice leather, lots of slots to put things in, heavy duty brass zipper. I got this to hold my Jornada 548, which fits nicely, very secure and snug into the case. The only killer is the zipper - a brass zipper makes a nice saw, and although the fabric it's sewn to is also heavy, there is no protection between the brass zipper and the PDA. I found this out the hard way, with zipper imprints left in the bottom of my Jornada. I've been very careful when removing PDA from case (e.g. for charging), because a careless swipe across the zipper would no doubt cut into the case, if just carrying it can dent the aluminum Jornada. I'd hate to see what would happen to a plastic PDA. So, I'm returning it in favor of a nylon zipper case or something else. Fact is, the Jornada, with screen cover, is probably safer OUT of the case and in a pocket than in the case (which fits few pockets).

    Good but not worth cost
I purchased the case 6+ months ago and found the following issues:
    Brass zipper scratched my Jornada

Zipper ripped due to extensive use and manufacturer has absolutely NO warrantee after 30 days (so i was told).

Velcro was not a problem as there is really no other way to attach the jornada w/o a custom built sleeve (which I was aware of prior to purchasing the case)

All in all the case is very nice and held the necessary items I needed to haul around with my person (cards, money, etc). I was mostly unimpressed with their (RhinoSkin) customer satisfaction policy (absolutely none). They didn't even offer to sell me another case at a discounted rate (which I would have been glad to do).

    Nice... but expensive
Sturdy, nice-looking, attractive color and texture.

It's a little too tight for a Palm IIIc, even after taking the flip cover off, also, they must have a better method to attach the PDA other than velcro pads. Can't sync using the sync cable without removing from case

Very bad delivery - just the case in a clear plastic bag: no insert, no warranty, no instructions. It is WAY overpriced, even with Amazon's discount the only reason to buy it is if you have a free certificate.
